现代远程教育中促进学生情感支持的策略研究——利用虚拟学习社区满足学生情感需求

学习支持服务系统是远程教育的重要组成部分,主要包括学术性支持、管理支持和情感支持三个子系统。基于网络的教学过程中的情感缺失问题是困扰广大远程教育工作者的重要问题。本文在分析学习支持系统的各子系统的基础上,介绍了虚拟学习社区,并提出了利用合理的虚拟学习社区促进远程学习者情感支持的策路。     

在生活活动中培养幼儿良好学习品质的支持策略研究——以福建省莆田市城厢区第一实验幼儿园为例

学习品质作为儿童社会性、情绪、认知发展及交互作用的核心,反映了儿童参与互动和投入学习的方式,是儿童良性循环发展的起点。“一日生活皆课程”,生活活动不仅满足儿童的基本生理需要,更重要的是有助于儿童提升生活自理能力、培养良好生活卫生习惯、建立良好的生活秩序、形成健康积极的个性品质等。文章基于幼儿实际生活场域,提出学习品质培养的相应策略：需要幼儿园从课程意识、教师意识等方面着手;需要教师从珍视生活活动的视角出发,立足幼儿的发展,搭建幼儿学习的支架;更需要家长树立正确的育儿观,以行促知,知行合一,为幼儿在良好的家庭生活教育中养成学习品质提供支持。     

成人的网络学习策略研究

目前成人的网络学习主要以解决问题为目标,以研究性学习为主。通过对网络学习者的深入访谈,我们将成人的网络学习策略划分为元认知策略、资源管理策略和认知策略,主要涉及网络学习的目标设定、行为监控、资源管理、人际交往以及信息加工等内容。加强对成人网络学习策略研究有助于提高网络教学质量,对现代远程教育的发展有积极的意义。     

The stability of Koppitz scores on the Bender-Gestalt for reading disabled children

The test-retest reliability of the Bender was examined for a sample comprised of 84 reading disabled children. The time interval between the first and second administrations of the test ranged from 12 to 24 days. The total working time necessary to reproduce the designs was considered along with total Koppitz score and errors of distortion, rotation, integration, and perseveration. The reliability estimated (r = .83) was quite satisfactory, and the estimate for working time (r = .70) was large enough to indicate a relatively stable behavioral dimension. The estimates for errors of distortion (r = .62) and rotation (r = .56) were somewhat smaller. The estimates for integration (r = .33) and perseveration (r = .29) errors were significant but much smaller than those for other scores.     

Partnership with parents of disabled children in research?

Parent/professional partnership is a key theme in government policy and service delivery for parents of disabled children, yet there is little evidence of such partnerships in research. Drawing on the literature concerning parents' experiences of caring for and raising a child with additional needs; parental involvement and partnerships and the social analysis of disability, this article sets out the rationale for parents' participation in educational research. It proposes a parents' participatory research approach adapted from a disability or emancipatory research paradigm, which the author used when conducting her doctoral research. She describes how there was evidence of parental participation in the study on three levels, through, firstly, the parent/researcher who initiated and co-ordinated the study; secondly, the parents' advisory group, who advised the researcher, completed some analysis and discussed the findings and, thirdly, the parents in the sample, who were offered opportunities to participate, for example, in decisions concerning the content of the data and development of the research methods that were used. Finally, the article discusses to what extent the parents participating in this study were given a voice to express their views, some control over the research process and so were treated as partners in the research process. It concludes that this research study has extended the notion of working in partnership with parents to the field of research and demonstrated that a parents' participatory research approach is possible. It now needs to be developed and replicated in other studies with parents of disabled children.     

The performance of learning disabled children on the Kaufman assessment battery for children and the Bender-Gestalt test

Results of the K-ABC and Bender-Gestait Test were compared for a sample of LD children that included 24 blacks and 24 whites: mean age 9 years, SD = 1–2. A nonsignificant difference was found between the mean scores of the K-ABC Sequential and Simultaneous Scales. A significant (p<.01) correlation coefficient was found between the K-ABC Simultaneous Scale and the Bender-Gestalt Test error score (r = −.57). A nonsignificant correlation coefficient was found between the K-ABC Sequential Scale and the Bender-Gestalt Test error score (r = −.20). Implications of these findings are discussed.     

Invisible children? The need for support groups for siblings of disabled children

Previous research and first-hand experience suggest that a child with a disability can have a profound effect on family life. Although the need for sibling support has been acknowledged in legislation, the implications for non-disabled siblings remain unclear. In this article, Angie Naylor, lecturer in psychology, and Phil Prescott, senior lecturer in childhood and youth studies, both based at Edge Hill, review a number of key themes emerging from the literature on sibling support. They go on to report the findings from an in-depth study of one sibling support group. The work was carried out in partnership with Barnardo's in the north-west of England and involved setting up a sibling support group, in response to an analysis of local need, and evaluating its impact. This research indicates a clear need for further service provision to meet the needs of the siblings of disabled children who attended the scheme. Angie Naylor and Phil Prescott argue for a reinvigorated debate about the needs of such children and champion the importance of listening to children and valuing what they have to say. The results of this small-scale evaluation project have clear implications for future research and, potentially, for policy and practice.     

The expectations of parents of disabled children

Following the diagnosis of a child's disability, parents have to develop new expectations concerning the child, their role as parents and the support services that are designed to meet their needs. Research shows, however, that these needs frequently remain unmet. In this article, Fran Russell, who writes as a parent of a son with a learning disability and as a professional with experience of practice in early years support services, explores parents' perspectives from a different direction. She argues that an investigation into parents' expectations could lead to a greater understanding of how parents of disabled children respond to their new-found situation. Fran Russell's own research, undertaken as part of her Education Doctorate programme at Leeds University, reveals that little is currently known about parents' expectations and indicates a pressing need for parents to be better informed, at an early stage in their experience of parenthood, in order to interact more effectively with professionals at a range of levels.     

The social perception of learning disabled and non‐learning disabled children

This study was undertaken to determine if there were differences in the social perception of learning disabled and non‐learning disabled youngsters, whether social perception was related to sex and if interaction by sex and learning disability status was involved. Fifty‐seven elementary school children aged 9 to 11 years were given four measures of social perception. Results showed that learning disabled children differed significantly (p .01) from their non‐learning disabled peers on each of the four measures. Neither sex nor group by sex interaction was significant. Assessment and intervention aimed at improving social perceptual skills should be incorporated into educational programming for those learning disabled children who exhibit deficiencies in this area of functioning.     

Parents of disabled children burn-out too: counseling parents of disabled children on stress management

This paper explores the problems faced by parents of disabled children with respect to stress-related factors. Parents of disabled children experience tremendous stress in the responsibilities and problems that they face. Counselors who become involved with parents of disabled children need to be capable of assisting these parents in developing and implementing stress management programs. The counselor needs to teach the parents effective ways of reducing stress, in their everyday activities centered around the disabled child.This paper will discuss some of the circumstances that cause stress and suggest procedures for training parents in becoming aware of the stressors and learning to manage them. The paper will also discuss promoting self-awareness and developing coping skills for parents of the disabled children. Counselors are encouraged to use these and other stress management techniques in helping parents become more effective in managing the stressors and developing appropriate coping skills.     

加强教育研究 促进随班就读发展

本文总结了我国十多年来随班就读研究的特点和取得的成绩 ,并对今后如何加强随班就读的研究 ,促进随班就读的发展提出了建议
