英语听力教学存在的问题及解决策略

听力课作为高校英语专业一门主干课,在英语专业课的教学当中占有十分重要的地位。目前,英语专业听力教学存在着一些问题,本文试图就听力教学中学生存在的问题及其解决策略等做一些探讨,以提高英语听力的教学效果。     

数学课堂教学中师生交往的有效化

数学课堂教学改革是数学课程改革的一项重要工作。数学课堂教学改革就是要用新课程理念改革过去被动式的课堂教学模式,使课堂教学成为“师生之间、学生之间交往互动与共同发展的过程”。要实现这一目标,建构课堂教学中真实的师生交往是关键。当前,在中小学数学课堂教学的师生交往中存在一些不真实的现象,这已对数学新课程的教学实施造成了一些不利的影响。因此,要正确认识数学课堂教学中师生交往的涵义,分析不真实交往的成因,明确师生之间真实交往的特征,建构数学课堂教学中有效的师生交往,从而推动数学课堂教学改革的健康发展。     

听力教学的制约因素和对策研究

听力是一项重要的语言技能，是语言输入的主要途径之一。良好的英语听力是学好英语的前提和基础。本文提出了解决外国语学校听力教学制约因素的对策，并探讨了解决这些问题的对策，旨在不断提高学生的听力水平。     

高二学生参与数学课堂教学交互的调查研究

高二学生参与数学课堂教学交互的情况不理想.主要问题是:教师没有给学生参与数学课堂教学交互提供良好平台,学生对数学课堂教学交互的认识不准确,主动参与数学课堂教学交互的积极性不高.建议是:数学教师应该注意激发学生学习数学的兴趣和参与课堂教学交互的积极性,同时应该教给学生参与数学课堂教学交互的方法;学生应该树立对数学课堂教学交互的正确认识,积极参与到数学课堂教学交互之中.     

教育学公共课课堂教学存在的问题及对策研究

为了提高师范类公共课的教育教学质量,提升师范毕业生的教学实践能力,该文对S大学正在学习教育学公共课的477名师范生进行问卷调查。研究发现：学生对教育学公共课认识不足,缺乏学习兴趣;课堂气氛沉闷,缺少师生互动;隐性逃课率高,课堂管理松散且纪律较差;教材使用率低;学生缺乏教学实践机会。因此,未来教育学公共课的发展需要注重＂师范＂意识的培养,加强课堂管理;优化教学方法;鼓励编写校本教材。     

The Student Cheater

There is conflicting evidence on the effect of seat location on student performance and participation in the classroom. The two major hypotheses are (1) that seat location influences student behavior and (2) that seat preference and selection is associated with personality traits of students. This study evaluated both hypotheses within a 55 student senior nutritional biochemistry class. Alternating every other seat, half of the class was randomly assigned a permanent seat while the other half was randomly reassigned a different seat each class period. Students sitting in the front of the classroom in the stay group made significantly more comments per student per day than stay group students in the back, in agreement with other studies. The move group, however, showed increased overall participation with no significant difference between the front and back of the classroom. Findings suggest a more flexible explanation—that students may adopt or reject an implied social role in which seat location and personality traits are influential factors.

ABSTRACT

This article describes the development, implementation, and systematic evaluation of a public health pedagogy course for first-time graduate student instructors in a Health Behavior doctoral program at a Midwestern School of Public Health. The pedagogy course focused on intensive pedagogical training in the first 8 weeks of a 16-week semester and then served as a forum for reflection and feedback during the second 8 weeks, when the enrolled graduate students served as either instructors of record or graduate teaching assistants for introductory health courses. Course participants (N = 7) completed anonymous pre-, mid- and post-course online surveys that assessed general teaching skills, discipline-specific teaching skills, and desire to pursue scholarship of teaching and learning (SoTL) activities. Participants' teaching self-efficacy increased for almost all survey items throughout the semester, particularly related to the instruction of health courses. Participants reported positive perceptions of the course and described it as essential for their teaching practice. This research study contributes to and expands upon the interdisciplinary study of the benefits of graduate level pedagogy courses and offers the first known assessment of a pedagogy course in the public health discipline.

在反思传统听力课堂教学模式所存在的不足之处的基础之上，以构建主义为理论依据，探讨大学英语听力课堂教学应包含的教学新理念，提出在听力教学申教师应引导学生自主学习，积极主动地参与教学活动．在“听”申学习技能，体验学习方法，积累经验．构建知识，形成能力。     

Social Work Students’ Perceptions of Team-Based Learning

This study sought to examine social work students’ perceptions of Team-Based Learning (N = 154). Aside from looking at overall student perceptions, comparative analyses examined differences in perceptions between BSW and MSW students, and between Caucasian students and students of color. Findings for the overall sample revealed favorable perceptions. The majority of students felt that Team-Based Learning effectively relayed content while teaching higher order cognitive skills. No differences emerged between MSW and BSW students; however, there were significant differences between students of color and Caucasian students, with the former feeling more isolated and singled out. Implications for practice are discussed.

Promoting NQT linguistic awareness of dialogic teaching practices: a dialogic model of professional development

This study offers an insight into the experiences of three newly qualified English primary teachers and their pupils as they sought to develop dialogic teaching in lessons. It draws upon a range of literature from the field of classroom talk, with a particular focus on the work of Robin Alexander to underpin teacher/researcher professional discussion and analysis of periodic video recordings of talk in these classrooms. Supplemented by teacher interviews, the research examines the extent to which a dialogic approach to teacher professional development might facilitate teacher self‐evaluation as a means of developing a more dialogic classroom. In doing so, it seeks to exemplify key talk moves (dialogic bids) that these teachers used to open up dialogic spaces in lessons. The research concludes that raising teacher awareness of such talk moves through professional discussion and reflection upon teaching can provide teachers with a metacognitive resource for talking about and furthering dialogic teaching practices.
