分析元理论的起源和发展,对元情报学的研究范围、对象和方法进行了初步的探讨。元情报学应该是以情报学理论为对象理论的元理论,是对情报学理论的一种科学研究。元情报学的基本任务是分析和研究情报学理论的论证结构,基本概念和原理的构成方式,定义和证明方法,提高情报学论证的明晰性,推进情报学研究的精密化和严格化。分析元理论的起源和发展,对元情报学的研究范围、对象和方法进行了初步的探讨。元情报学应该是以情报学理论为对象理论的元理论,是对情报学理论的一种科学研究。元情报学的基本任务是分析和研究情报学理论的论证结构,基本概念和原理的构成方式,定义和证明方法,提高情报学论证的明晰性,推进情报学研究的精密化和严格化。

本文从情报学与谍报的渊源开始论起,通过学科四要素对情报学学科发展问题进行了分析,接着从情报工作与情报学教育特别是硕士研究生的课程设置问题分析了情报学学科的泛化现象,通过搜索引擎的发展对情报学的冲击分析了情报学发展过程中的假泡沫现象,探讨了情报学与信息技术的关系,试图通过这些方面来探讨情报学学科的研究范畴.最后对情报学研究范畴的动态性与多变性进行了分析,并试图找出研究这种动态性变化规律的方法.

情报学发展的动力机制分析

情报学的发展动力提供和传输着情报学发展的能量。当前对情报学深层次发展的动力发掘不够，对情报学发展动力的研究缺乏，因此，有必要对情报学发展的动力机制进行分析。情报学的发展动力分为外动力与内动力，在分析了外动力和内动力的基础上，构建出情报学发展的动力机制结构模型，分析了情报学发展动力机制的运行过程，并提出动力机制适度发展的评价指标。     

论情报学与信息管理的关系

本文首先在简单介绍情报学现状的基础上,提出了一个亟待解决的问题现在是否有情报学的立足之地?若有,情报学与信息管理的关系是什么?接着,用一门学科存在的两个条件来衡量,论证了情报学存在的必要性;然后,重点从情报学与信息管理的联系与区别两方面,分析了两学科的关系,认为情报学应该归属于信息管理;最后,从情报学更名的原因出发,说明了情报学作为信息管理的一门分支学科,将更有利于情报学的发展.

文章通过当代IT在情报学领域中的应用，详细论述了IT对情报工作，情报学各分支学科以及它对情报学研究方法的影响。从而指出情报学与当代IT的密切结合是情报学研究的发展方向。

本文总结和评述了近年来在数字化信息基础环境中情报学理论研究取得的进展,主要对学科中带有全局性、基础性的理论议题进行了述评,包括情报学的哲学研究、情报学基本概念、学科新的核心话语和情报学理论体系。讨论了在数字化时代情报学理论未来的发展。

本文主要介绍数字图书馆的概念、特征和体系结构及其由来和优点。同时 ,介绍建设数字图书馆所使用的相关标准、规范、工具和它的现实服务模式。     

Expanding Role and Potential of Curation in Education: A Systematic Review of the Literature

ABSTRACT

Advances in computing power have accelerated the growth of knowledge and created opportunities. However, the resulting tidal wave of information presents challenges, including vast quantity with varying quality. In higher education, curation offers one solution as librarians and faculty, as educators and researchers, increasingly curate knowledge for students, colleagues, and other stakeholders. Using integrative and systematic methods, the purpose of this literature review was to examine curation in education. This article presents major findings related to the panorama, perspective, people, product, place, purpose, and process of curation in education. We also discuss major themes including the changing and expanding landscape of curation from curating artifacts to content and data, from non-formal to formal learning contexts, from individual to collaborative curation, and the role of curation in education in bridging people, communities, and knowledge.

An annotated list is presented describing twenty-one peer-reviewed journals that cover significant aspects of the gay, lesbian, bisexual, and transgender (GLBT) community, in whole or in part, in a scholarly manner. The titles included are a selective and representative sampling. Sofia 2004 Conference Report

ABSTRACT

The authors summarize the sixth in the Globenet series of conferences, Sofia 2004: Libraries, Globalization, and Cooperation, held in Sofia, Bulgaria. In attendance were librarians, faculty, and students from many countries. Topics discussed included library and information science education, user education, information technology, national libraries, academic libraries, cooperation, policy, distance education, and other current issues.     

Teaching Specialized Legal Research: Business Associations

Business associations are a complex substantive topic that can be included in an advanced legal research course that teaches students sophisticated research, writing, and citation skills. This article presents the basic substantive law regarding business associations necessary to deliver instruction about advanced legal research, writing, and citation. This article also offers a model syllabus with suggested sources and assignments for students. These research assignments require students to perform tasks such as citing primary and secondary sources, learning advanced research skills using loose-leaf materials, assimilating information from multiple sources into cogent narratives, locating information using various electronic resources, digests, and other secondary sources, and locating and using forms pertinent to business association agreements. This article also provides an instructor with twenty-five suggested sources to use in assigning materials to students. These sources consist of both print and electronic versions. They additionally consist of treatises, monographs, guides, model statutory materials, electronic databases, Web sites, form guides, casebooks, a digest, and a citation manual.     

唐代广东雕版印刷事业初探

雕版印刷术是中国古代“四大发明”之一,且发明于唐代.广东雕版印刷术发明于唐代,但历史上这方面的文献记载属凤毛麟角,且未见有唐代广东出版物留存于世,故以往著述少有提及.文章从唐代以前的广东文献、唐代广东造纸业、唐代广东社会对雕版印刷业需求等方面,初步表述和探究与唐代广东雕版印刷事业相关的各种迹象,并引证唐僧义净为“唐代刊书之先导”之说.     

From Odessa to Odessa: Russian-Jewish Periodicals of Ukraine, 1860–2000

SUMMARY

Jewish periodicals have been published in Ukraine, in Russian and Ukrainian, over a 140-year time span. They are systematically described here, starting with the first such journal, Razsviet (Rassvet; Odessa, 1860–61), with accompanying bibliographical analysis. The central part of the article is a table noting all 311 periodicals' characteristics, including titles, cities and dates of publication, main features, and/or subtitles. Their stages of development, regional distribution, and languages of publication are reviewed. It is noteworthy that at the end of 2000, close to 100 Jewish newspapers, magazines, almanacs, and bulletins were active in the republic. The progress of the Jewish press continues in both quantity and quality.     

The effect of modifiers on the stability of a vinyl acetate/ethylene copolymer dispersion

This paper examines the effect of modifiers on the stability of a vinyl acetate/ethylene copolymer dispersion adhesive upon aging. Eighteen common modifiers were added to a well-characterized vinyl acetate/ethylene copolymer dispersion (Dur-O-Set^® E-150) in known concentrations and dry-film samples were subjected to 16–17 years of dark aging and seven to eight years of light aging. Yellowing, pH, gloss, swelling, cohesive strength, and flexibility were monitored for changes upon aging. Generally, the neat Dur-O-Set^® E-150 (no additives) was found to become acidic on aging, but was fairly resistant to yellowing. It also swelled substantially in toluene, was of high gloss, medium strength, and flexible, and remained so on aging. No modifier was found to improve these properties. Various solvents, wetting agents, and thickeners did not alter the properties by much, while plasticizers, freeze-thaw stabilizer, glycerin, and certain fillers had a more negative effect.     

基于DOI RAs机制的科学数据管理与共享——“第一届中日韩DOI项目合作讨论会”概述

第一届中日韩DOI项目合作讨论会于2013年5月30日在中国科学技术信息研究所成功举办,这也是第三届中日韩科技信息机构联席会议的专题讨论会。针对ISTIC、KISTI、JST三家的DOIRA职能,会议围绕DOIRA在科学数据管理与共享方面的共识,三家机构对各自的系统及其相关活动进行了较为深入的讨论。文章在概述本次会议的基础上,重点介绍中日韩目前的系统,即中文DOI、日本JaLC、韩国的P—CUBE,以及科学数据管理工作。最后,总结了三机构未来实施合作的意向。     

Metriken für UML-Modelle

Zusammenfassung. Um einen auf UML basierenden Entwicklungsprozess bewerten und verbessern zu können, werden Metriken für UML-Modelle definiert. Wir stellen einen Satz derartiger Metriken vor und diskutieren ihre Tauglichkeit. Unsere Metriken sind generisch definiert, sie werden zur Bewertung der einzelnen UML-Diagramme spezialisiert.
