从医学期刊的文责自负谈“编责勿轻”

医学期刊中常见的文责问题有:一稿两投或一稿多投;造假、拼凑实验数据;抄袭、剽窃现象;不正当的稿件署名。通过对以上文责问题的分析,提出"编责勿轻"的观点,并从医学论文的学术责任、规范化责任、道德责任、法律意识及服务责任等方面对"编责勿轻"的观点进行详细阐述。认为文责自负和编辑勿轻存在着辩证统一关系。     

利用医学文献检索提高编辑工作质量

对各种信息的感知、获取、处理及利用,已成为期刊编辑工作中不可缺少的重要部分。医学文献检索在医学期刊编辑工作中尤为重要,对于保证所刊发的论文的新颖性、真实性及准确性将起到非常重要的作用,对于提高医学期刊的整体质量具有积极的意义。     

编辑的信息掌控能力在审稿过程中的质控作用

网络信息时代,科技学术期刊编辑只有具备较强的信息获取、分析和优化能力,才能在稿件审理过程中加强各个评审环节之间的联系,实现编辑对稿件评审质量的控制,并提升稿件的信息价值.     

Participatory archive: towards decentralised curation,radical user orientation,and broader contextualisation of records management

User perspective and user studies have received noticeably little practical attention in archives and archival science. The purpose of this article is to address the issues of communication and user participation in archival contexts. Two action research projects-based digital archives are discussed. The insights gained during the research and development work are used to formulate a new approach to a participatory archive. In spite of the historical nature of the archives discussed, the suggested ways of interacting with an archive are not specific to historical records. The fundamental characteristics of the proposed approach are decentralised curation, radical user orientation, and contextualisation of both records and the entire archival process.

The Responsive Reference Collection:

This paper discusses the need for both continuity and flexibility in reference collection building, and proposes three criteria on which to base decisions about the collection: does any prospective addition help to meet the goals of the library's parent institution, and of the library itself, and does it satisfy the specific needs of the library's particular clientele? Before adding to the collection, reference librarians should consider the subject covered, the level of coverage given, and the format in which the source is published: do all three meet the needs of the library? The paper discusses four formats in which reference sources are now published, comparing their relative strengths and weaknesses in relation to the need for service or self-service in the reference area.     

The Undergraduate Reserve Collection:

This article reports on a successful transition from a closed reserve collection to an open, self-serve reserve room. Responses from 200 undergraduates to an in-house questionnaire support the success of the shift.

The Reference Collection Development Decision:

Information brokers can exercise a subtle but significant influence on a library's collection development practices through the reference tools they produce. Traditionally, reference sources' use in collection evaluation and their capacity io direct patron demand have helped shape collection building. New optical disc reference devices may have a more pronounced impact on general collections than their predecessors. The expense of the optical systems will likely reduce general collection budgets, while their potentially heavy usage could cause changes in collecting patterns. To insure that these changes will not diminish the library's abilily to serve its community, selectors will need to evaluate each system in full recognition of broadest possible implications. Careful selection will require clearly established reference goals consistent with the library's mission.     

循证采购的概念、影响与启示

[目的/意义] 针对当前大宗交易资源采购的困境,引入国外循证采购方式,以期寻找高校图书馆资源建设的新方式。[方法/过程] 从国外图书馆循证采购(EBC)的背景入手,介绍国外NAHRS小组、德克萨斯A & M大学图书馆和温哥华岛大学图书馆关于循证采购的实践,对其循证采购方式进行分析和总结,为国内图书馆将其用于馆藏发展提供借鉴。[结果/结论] 图书馆要改变资源采购模式,循证采购是方式之一,建议图书馆结合馆情选定合适的证据方法,保证循证采购的有效性。     

Digital humanities and the emerging framework for digital curation

ABSTRACT

Digital humanities (DH) represents an emerging framework for digital curation. This study focuses on the evolving relationship of the DH (including history) to digital curation and archives and describes the models of collaboration in the digital environment. A conceptual framework is presented, followed by discussions of scarcity and abundance, archival frameworks, models of collaboration, and a review of selected DH projects. Despite the semantic disagreements over the term archives, researchers and curators should consider each other's perspectives for continued collaboration.
