现今,“中国文学走出去”之风愈演愈烈,文学翻译事业受到国家和政府的高度重视,方兴未艾。在文学作品西行中,译作质量的高低决定了传播之路的成功与否,译作所传达国家形象的优劣决定了传播目的的达成与否。该文以安德烈·勒菲弗尔(Andrei Lefevere)提出的改写理论为基础,以意识形态、赞助人、诗学三个因素为切入点,剖析了许孟雄英译《子夜》中的改译情节和段落调整情况,以期进一步提高中国文学翻译工作的质量,助力于中国文学的西行之旅。     

翟理斯译诗艺术的语际观照与符际阐释

翟理斯(Herbert Allen Giles, 1845—1935)是早期韵体译诗代表人物,其诗歌翻译作品在西方影响很大,且被认为其译诗具有独特的艺术魅力。然而,目前国内学界仅对其韵体译诗实践的得失利弊进行评价,而未能从其译诗的艺术特色和魅力展开多维度、多层面的解读。本文从意义表达、思维方式、情感表现和文学文化诸多方面对其译诗艺术先作语际层面的多维观照,探究其翻译观和文学文化观的实践过程,并结合绘画、音乐、戏剧、电影等非语言艺术对其译诗手法和技巧进行符际阐释,探究其译诗观和文学文化观的实践效果,彰显译者的翻译艺术特色,开拓古诗英译艺术研究的新路径。本文提出译诗研究不仅要重视语际层面的多维观照,还要注重语际与符际翻译之间的互动转化,不断创新文学翻译的跨艺术表现,努力拓展翻译研究的思路与方法。     

译意与译味的艰难抉择：金岳霖的翻译问题及其解决办法

金岳霖的翻译问题主要表现在译意与译味的二元对立以及文学不可译两个方面,他站在知识论的立场上选择了译意,抛弃了译味,结果把文学翻译推向了死胡同。解决这一难题一方面需要摆脱知识论对文学翻译的限制,运用境界论的思想实现从译意到译味的层级超越,另一方面需要通过建构翻译语境与创造新的表达方法突破文学的不可译。
