Unlike many papers focusing on common linear copositive Lyapunov functions (CLCLFs) for positive switched systems, this paper studies the existence of a class of common weak linear copositive Lyapunov functions called common joint linear copositive Lyapunov functions (CJCLFs). Necessary and sufficient conditions for the existence of CJCLFs are established. The conditions are easily verifiable via the straightforward computation, and can be applied to the asymptotic stability problem of the positive switched linear system when each switching mode is only Lyapunov stable. 相似文献

This paper is concerned with exploring less conservative stability conditions for a class of switched positive linear systems. A switched matrix-parameterized copositive Lyapunov function (SMPCLF) is first introduced, where “matrix-parameterized” implies that the parameters of the constructed Lyapunov function are distributed in a matrix, which is different from the traditional vector-parameterized copositive Lyapunov function. Based on the proposed SMPCLF, a new stability criterion is derived for the underlying systems under arbitrary switching. Furthermore, by performing higher order relaxations in the SMPCLF and its time difference by positive states, the conservativeness can be further reduced. A numerical example is given to demonstrate the effectiveness and advantages of the obtained theoretical results. 相似文献

In this paper, a complete procedure for the study of the output regulation problem is established for a class of positive switched systems utilizing a multiple linear copositive Lyapunov functions scheme. The feature of the developed approach is that each subsystem is not required to has a solution to the problem. Moreover, two types of controllers and switching laws are devised. The first one depends on the state together with the external input and the other depends only the error. The conditions ensuring the solvability of the problem for positive switched systems are presented in the form of linear matrix equations plus linear inequalities under some mild constraints. In this paper, the multiple model strategy is applied to the adaptive control of switched linear systems to improve the transient performance. The solvability of the adaptive stabilization problem of each subsystem is not required. Firstly, the two-layer switching mechanism is designed. The state-dependent switching law with dwell time constraint is designed in the outer-layer switching to guarantee the stability of the switched systems. During the interval of dwell time constraint, the parameter resetting adaptive laws are designed in the inner-layer switching to improve the transient performance. Secondly, the minimum dwell time constraint providing enough time for multiple model adaptive control strategy to work fully and maintaining the stability of the switched systems is found. Finally, the proposed switched multiple model adaptive control strategy guarantees that all the closed-loop system signals remain bounded and the state tracking error converges to zero. 相似文献

In this paper, we address the sampling and control issues for switched linear systems. Under synchronous switching and piecewise constant control, a continuous-time switched system is naturally related to a discrete-time sampled-data system. We prove that, with almost any sampling rate, the controllable subspace will be preserved for a switched linear system. We also investigate the possibility of achieving controllability using regular switching mechanisms. We show that, to achieve controllability for a switched linear system, it is sufficient to use cyclic and synchronous switching paths and constant control laws. 相似文献

The paper surveys mathematical tools required for stability and convergence analysis of modern sliding mode control systems. Elements of Filippov theory of differential equations with discontinuous right-hand sides and its recent extensions are discussed. Stability notions (from Lyapunov stability (1982) to fixed-time stability (2012)) are observed. Concepts of generalized derivatives and non-smooth Lyapunov functions are considered. This paper investigates the event-triggered finite-time H∞ filtering for a class of continuous-time switched linear systems. Considering that the system may switch within an inter-event interval, the asynchronous problem is taken into account for the system and filter modes. By adopting the average dwell time (ADT) technique and multiple Lyapunov functions, new conditions are obtained to guarantee that the filtering error system is finite-time bounded with a prescribed disturbance attenuation performance. Further, the finite-time H∞ filter together with event-triggered mechanism is co-designed for the switched linear systems. This paper addresses the state observation and unknown input estimation of a class of switched linear systems with unknown inputs. This class of systems may have modes in which the state is not fully observable. A state transformation allows implementing two suitable reduced-order observers. The first one, based on second order sliding mode techniques, is proposed to reconstruct the discrete state in the presence of unknown inputs. The second one, based on gathering partial information from individual modes of the switched system and on higher order sliding mode techniques, is introduced to estimate the continuous state. Then, the observer injection signal of the first second order sliding mode observer is used to estimate the unknown inputs. Simulation results highlight the efficiency of the proposed method. 相似文献

In this paper strict, non-smooth Lyapunov functions for some non-homogeneous versions of the super-twisting algorithm are proposed. Convergence under the action of bounded perturbations for two basic forms of non-homogeneous algorithms will be studied by means of the Lyapunov functions. Since the homogeneity property cannot be used directly to prove stability of the algorithms, the availability of a Lyapunov function is of great importance for analysis and design in these cases. This paper aims at providing new design approaches for positive observers of discrete-time positive linear systems based on a construction method of linear copositive Lyapunov function for positive systems. First, an efficient positive observer design approach is proposed by using linear programming such that the observer error system is exponentially stable. Furthermore, an interval observer design is proposed for uncertain positive systems. Then, the results are extended to positive time delay systems. In contrast with the previous design approaches, the new design method provides a general observer design with lower computational burden. This paper concentrates on the output tracking control problem with L1-gain performance of positive switched systems. We adopt the multiple co-positive Lyapunov functions technique and conduct the dual design of the controller and the switching signal. Through introducing a new state variable, which is not the output error, the output tracking control problem of the original system is transformed into the stabilization problem of the dynamics system of this new state. The proposed approach is still effective even the output tracking control problem of any subsystem is unsolvable. According to the state being available or not, we establish the solvability conditions of the output tracking control problem for positive switched systems, respectively. In this paper, finite-time stabilization of switched linear systems with saturating actuators is discussed by virtue of time domain approach. State feedback controllers are designed to make the closed-loop systems finite-time stable. If the state is unavailable, observer-controller compensators are used. The results not only give sufficient conditions for finite-time stabilization of switched linear systems with saturating actuator, but also show the effect of the switching signals on finite-time stabilization of the system. Moreover, based on average dwell-time technique, we present the average dwell-time of switching signals to guarantee finite-time stability of the closed loop system. This paper investigates the problem of event-triggered fault detection filter design for nonlinear networked control systems with both sensor faults and process faults. First, Takagi–Sugeno (T–S) fuzzy model is utilized to represent the nonlinear systems with faults and disturbances. Second, a discrete event-triggered communication scheme is proposed to reduce the utilization of limited network bandwidth between filter and original system. At the same time, considering network-induced delays and event-triggered scheme, a novel T–S fuzzy fault detection filter is constructed to generate a residual signal, which has nonsynchronous premise variables with the original T–S fuzzy system. Then, the fuzzy Lyapunov functional based approach and the reciprocally convex approach are developed such that the obtained sufficient conditions ensure that the fuzzy fault detection system is asymptotically stable with H∞ performance and is less conservative. All the conditions are given in terms of linear matrix inequalities (LMIs), which can be solved by LMI tools in MATLAB environment. In this paper, the problem of state and unknown input estimations for a class of discrete-time switched linear systems with average dwell time switching is investigated. First, a proportional integral observer with an exponential H∞ performance is constructed to estimate the system state and unknown input simultaneously. Second, both of the observability and the stability of the estimation error system are analyzed, then the derivation of the observer gain matrices is transformed into the calculation of linear matrix inequalities. Finite-time stability involves dynamical systems whose trajectories converge to an equilibrium state in finite time. Since finite-time convergence implies nonuniqueness of system solutions in reverse time, such systems possess non-Lipschitzian dynamics. Sufficient conditions for finite-time stability have been developed in the literature using Hölder continuous Lyapunov functions. In this paper, we develop a general framework for finite-time stability analysis based on vector Lyapunov functions. Specifically, we construct a vector comparison system whose solution is finite-time stable and relate this finite-time stability property to the stability properties of a nonlinear dynamical system using a vector comparison principle. Furthermore, we design a universal decentralized finite-time stabilizer for large-scale dynamical systems that is robust against full modeling uncertainty. Finally, we present two numerical examples for finite-time stabilization involving a large-scale dynamical system and a combustion control system. 相似文献

This paper studies the E-exponential stability of mode-dependent linear switched singular systems with stable and unstable subsystems. First, by constructing an appropriate multiple discontinuous Lyapunov function, new sufficient conditions of E-exponential stability for linear switched singular systems are established. Considering the feature of mode-dependent average dwell time switching, we adopt the switching strategy where fast switching and slowing switching are respectively applied to unstable and stable subsystems. Compared with the existing results, our approach is more flexible and tighter bounds can be obtained.
