国外信息查寻范式研究

论文介绍了国外研究较多的五种信息查寻范式，分别是源自心理学领域的最小努力原则、意义构建；源自大众传播的使用与满意、媒介使用；源自社会学的娱乐理论。     

Characteristics of the Literature Used by Arab Authors in Library and Information Science: a Bibliometric Study

This paper attempts to shed some light on the scientific communication behavior of Arab authors in library and information science by studying the characteristics of the literature used by these authors. A bibliometric study by way of citation analysis was conducted on the articles published from 1978 to 1988 in Maktabat Al-Idarah, an elite Arab scholarly journal in the field. It was concluded from this study that English literature is the main source of information for Arab authors in library and information science. They rely on English literature that is between 5 and 15 years of age more than on their own literature and use books more than any other form of publication. They cover almost all areas of the field with special emphasis on technical services as represented by cataloging, classification and aquisition, library administration and library education. Local materials published in their own country were also important.     

高校图书馆信息素质教育研究的文献计量分析

信息素质作为高校图书馆的一项重要职能，已得到越来越多人的认可和研究。文章以中文科技期刊数据库收录文献为研究对象，运用文献计量学方法并结合文献内容，从文献增长情况、文献著者、文献主题等方面，分析国内高校图书馆进行信息素质教育的研究状况，并提出几点建议。     

PubMed收录国内5种大学医学学报论文计量分析

应用GoPubMed检索工具,对PubMed收录的国内5种大学医学学报2003-2010年论文进行文献计量学研究,比较各刊发文数、PubMed收摘率、城市分布、高频词等。结果发现《南方医科大学学报》发文数及PubMed收录篇数最多,且城市分布较广,《中南大学学报（医学版）》PubMed收摘率最高,《南方医科大学学报》《北京大学学报（医学版）》《中南大学学报（医学版）》3种学报以人类和患者为研究对象的临床医学方面的论文比例较大。

分析了医学情报工作开展核心业务的背景,从信息资源与服务平台、决策服务、专业服务3方面探讨了医学情报工作的核心业务。     

医学信息共享空间的构建

针对用户信息需求的多样化,指出构建医学信息共享空间的必要性。强调了构建医学信息共享空间时要明确服务理念,强调循证医学、阅读治疗和健康素养教育特色,并从服务、空间和资源三方面讨论了医学信息共享空间的具体构建方案及在其构建过程中应注意绿色低碳、美观舒适和管理评估等问题。     

国外信息共享空间实例调查研究

本文调查了国外25所图书馆信息共享空间实例,主要介绍了美国芝加哥洛约拉大学Richard J.Klarchek信息共享空间,从创建背景到服务内容、技术支持等方面进行了详细的说明;又描述了英国的谢菲尔德大学的信息共享空间的实施情况;随后,分析了宾夕法尼亚大学David B.Weigle信息共享空间2007年年报,阐述了IC的使用情况;最后,提出了对我国建设信息共享空间的启示.     

医学信息检索对医学文稿编辑加工的作用

介绍医学信息检索相关数据库,探讨医学信息检索在参考文献等编辑加工中的作用.认为医学编辑应掌握关键词、医学信息检索技能,熟悉常用医学数据库的检索,利用医学信息检索提高工作效率及编校质量.     

Normative behavior and information: The social aspects of information access

Information access is central to library and information science, yet explorations of its conceptual nature have been limited. Given the importance of information access to the discipline, there is a need for research to create a better understanding of the concept and its many roles in all activities and behaviors related to information. Drawing on the theoretical work of Elfreda Chatman, this article proposes that the study of information access can be facilitated through the recognition and examination of the physical, intellectual, and social aspects of information access. These types of access are examined through three case studies in terms of different information behaviors and contexts, with a particular focus on the importance of social access. The article also discusses the future roles that considerations of social access can play in research and theory.     

1996-2006年我国军事训练医学文献计量分析

以《中国生物医学光盘文献数据库（CBMdisc）》为数据源,对国内各医药卫生类期刊1996-2006年发表的军事训练医学类文献进行统计。1996-2006年中国军事训练医学文献分布呈缓慢增长趋势,2000年开始增长速度加快,著者分布相对分散,期刊分布相对集中,医学院校和研究所文献发表量相对较多,所涉研究获得国家或军队方面的资助比重不高。文献研究的主题多与军事训练伤的防治、病因学及流行病学调查、心理学研究密切相关,与军事训练伤的实验室技术和方法、诊断学、生物力学、环境医学等方面的相关性较低。     

Sources of information on medical geography

Adequate research in the peripheral field of medical geography requires familiarity with the literature of medicine, geography, and other environmentally oriented fields. The pertinent literature of the two primary disciplines, as well as that of anthropology, nutrition, and human bioclimatology, is surveyed from a bibliographical point of view. A brief review of historical sources is presented, followed by a discussion of the contemporary organizations, both international and national, active in the field. Emphasis is placed on the publishing programs and projects, maps, atlases, symposia, reports, and other literature sponsored or stimulated by these organizations. Regional bibliographical surveys for East Africa, India, and the Soviet Union are also noted. Pertinent aspects of bibliographies, indexes, abstracts, library card catalogs and accession lists, and other resources are listed, with emphasis on the various subject headings and other approaches to them. Throughout, the sources of information are approached from a multidisciplinary and interdisciplinary viewpoint.
