对普通高校武术教学内容改革的思考

随着普通高校体育素质教育的进一步加强,大学生对武术的兴趣不断增强,但现行的教学内容不能达到武术教学的目的,未能满足学生的需要,难以适应时代的要求。本人认为应增加以技击为主的传统套路、技击和练功方法的教学,以适应大学生的需要,更有力地促进武术的发展,使大学生成为推动中华武术发展的一支重要生力军。     

A Graduate Seminar on Teaching Procedures

Problem posing is a higher-order, active-learning task that is important for students to develop. This article describes a series of interdisciplinary learning activities designed to help students strengthen their problem-posing skills, which requires that students become more responsible for their learning and that faculty move to a facilitator role. Developing students’ problem-posing skills and allowing them to grapple with course content can lead to deeper levels of understanding and improved critical thinking. In turn, students are more likely to be able to move their newfound knowledge beyond the classroom.     

《C++程序设计》课程教学方法的改革

论数学教学中学生的主体作用

在教学过程中,师生具有互为主客体的双重性,学生既是被教师认识和实践的客体,更重要的是学习的主体,教师、教材、一切教学手段,都应为学生的＂学＂服务。学生应积极参与到教学活动中去,充当教学活动的主角。传统教学只注重知识继承,不重视开辟新的知识领域,形成了＂封闭＂型的教学模式,培养的是＂储存＂型人才。教师在平时的教学中应根据教材充分调动学生学习的主动性,让学生成为学习的主人,要充分发挥学生的主体作用,并将教师的主导作用与学生的主体作用结合起来,才能使数学教学收到更好的成效。     

高职高专大力开展大学英语课外学习的必要性探究

高职高专大学英语课堂教学的局限性决定了学生课外学习的必要性,课外学习是课堂教学的延伸,而且是可行的,因此教师应该有意识的指导学生运用元认知策略进行课外自主学习,使学生成为学习的主体,弥补课堂教学的不足,从而提高学习效率,使学生真正成为实用型人才．     

高职院校贫困生消费情况调查研究

贫困大学生是大学生中的特殊群体,如何使他们顺利完成学业、成人成才,已经成为家长、学校和社会共同关心的问题。通过对高职院校贫困生日常消费基本情况的调查,发现相当一部分贫困生的消费状况仍存在一定问题。贫困生的消费问题应引起高职院校的高度重视,引导他们树立更加成熟的消费观念。     

Developing History Students' Skills in the Transition to University

With growing numbers and diversity of students, as well as demands from employers and students themselves, many humanities and social science tutors have become increasingly aware of the importance of developing students' skills. The first year of university is a particularly important point of intervention, not only to ensure the successful transition to degree level work, but to create the foundations for learning and skills development in subsequent years of disciplinary study and beyond. There is still, however, often a lack of confidence on the part of subject tutors concerning the introduction of skills to students whose primary motivation for study is discipline-based. This paper describes a practical approach to this problem in history, but one easily transferable to other disciplines. It combines subject and skills in a way which engages student interest, and encourages students to become more confident in a variety of practical skills, as well as more reflexive in relation to their subject and the ways in which they approach learning in it.     

Designing Authentic Learning Environments in Chemistry Lessons: Paving the Way in Pre-Service Teacher Education

Authenticity has recently become a popular term in science education. A study focusing on authenticity in the sense of making chemistry lessons better resemble chemistry practice is carried out at the University of Cologne in the Institute of Chemical Education, where prospective chemistry teachers are trained. In the long run an innovative module shall be developed, which challenges teacher students’ pre-conceptions about characteristics of chemistry practice and supports them in translating their conceptions into authentic learning environments. This paper presents the first part of the project in which course elements to stimulate reflection on students’ attitudes were evaluated. Moreover the students were given an opportunity for teacher students to create a practical activity for pupils in order to detect aspects in which the students need more support, for example possible ways for this transformation or more experience with inquiry-based learning.

The ‘foreign’ language teacher: negotiating the culture of a school when unfamiliar with the language of instruction

This article examines and theorises the experiences of 12 primary pre-service teachers at an Australian university, undertaking a two week professional teaching experience in Bangkok. This qualitative ethnographic study of our students’ and to some extent our own experiences draws on interviews, questionnaires and observations from the students, as well as reflective notes from two participating supervisors, and sets out to account for and understand the sources of the achievements and frustrations experienced by our pre-service teachers. The findings illustrate differences between the students’ overseas experiences and Australian-based experiences. These differences include organisational structures, teacher mentoring and cultural understandings, and the effects these had on the students. In particular, we distinguish the more readily observable structural nature of the schools in which the pre-service teachers were teaching, and the less visible cultural aspects that underlie these structures. We propose ways of helping students, as part of pre-departure briefings, to become more aware of these cultural underpinnings, with a view to helping them become more at ease negotiating intercultural workplaces.
