常见的胎紧测度序列例子概念过于抽象,形式比较复杂,理解相当困难,并且一般的书籍资料很少列举.采用一种形式新且易懂的方式构造胎紧测度序列,即在一维Borel概率测度空间这一熟悉背景下,通过建立平面几何图形及运用系列几何作图的技术性处理,将胎紧测度序列以具体化、直观化的图形形式展现出来,同时更清楚地体现了测度的实质含义及胎紧与非胎紧之间的本质区别.  相似文献

The concept of conservation and its development form one of the most interesting aspects of Piaget's theories. According to Inhelder, the foundation of reasoning, including logical, mathematical, geometrical, and physical reasoning, is built upon the concept of conservation of quantity. In a way, children's discovery of conservation is comparable to discoveries in science. Many studies have been conducted of the sequence of development of the concept of conservation in children. However, the results of these studies are not always consistent. The inconsistencies are usually in the age at which a certain type of conservation first appears and in the sequential order of appearance of different types of conservation.  相似文献

An experiment was performed to determine the effects of instruction in the Piacceleration program (PXL) on Hispanic Head Start students’ acquisition of Piagetian skills. The PXL is a hands-on, mastery-based program designed to systematically instruct children in the Piagetian skills of classification, seriation, and conservation. The PXL group performed significantly better than the control group on posttest measures of classification of objects by form, size, and orientation, and on measures of general classification and seriation. The two groups did not differ significantly on a posttest measure of intelligence, the Wechsler Preschool and Primary Scale of Intelligence-Revised (WPPSI-R). The participants who achieved concept mastery, however, performed significantly better than their nonmastery peers on the WPPSI-R Full scale.  相似文献

The main thesis of the present paper is that geometry deals with mental entities (the so-called geometrical figures) which possess simultaneously conceptual and figural characters. A geometrical sphere, for instance, is an abstract ideal, formally determinable entity, like every genuine concept. At the same time, it possesses figural properties, first of all a certain shape. The ideality, the absolute perfection of a geometrical sphere cannot be found in reality. In this symbiosis between concept and figure, as it is revealed in geometrical entities, it is the image component which stimulates new directions of thought, but there are the logical, conceptual constraints which control the formal rigour of the process. We have called the geometrical figuresfigural concepts because of their double nature. The paper analyzes the internal tensions which may appear in figural concepts because of this double nature, development aspects and didactical implications.  相似文献

This paper presents a case study investigating the knowledge constructed by two 12 year-old children working with a geometrical Logo microworld allowing the Logo turtle to measure distances, and turns relative to previously constructed points on the plane. A qualitative analysis of data consisting of everything that the children said, typed and wrote on paper during the 15 hours of the research, provided evidence of the children's developing use of concepts belonging to Plane Geometry. The measuring of angular and length quantities, enabled them to conjecture, reflect on and manipulate triangle properties and relations traditionally associated with Euclidean Geometry. Their developing awareness of the existence of geometrical relations in their work, encouraged an increase in their readiness to use and reflect on them. The paper concludes that the generation of learning environments such as the above may well enhance the opportunity for children to form inductive geometrical understandings.  相似文献

As community colleges face increasingly tight budgets and calls for a renewed focus on improving student outcomes in the form of graduation rates, colleges must address the concept of access. How much access to higher education can they continue to provide low-skilled students in adult education and similar programs? One way to ensure access to these students is through formalized transition to college programs. The authors summarize characteristics of two transition program models and introduce research at a community college that evaluated the effectiveness of three characteristics in the models.  相似文献
