While entrepreneurship has emerged as an important mechanism for the generation of social returns in terms of economic growth and job creation, entrepreneurship education is still something new in Europe and the debate about the need and the way of introduction of specific entrepreneurship courses in higher education is on going. This paper deals with the introduction of entrepreneurship education in engineering curricula. More specific it presents the experience of the National Technical University in Greece, as a case in point for discussing the need of an interdisciplinary approach in designing engineering curricula. The main argument is that the introduction of entrepreneurship education in University curricula should not result as an application of policy initiatives only related to economic imperatives. It should be part of a more general discussion related to educational priorities and of a strategic design of University curricula in order to provide engineers with entrepreneurial and management skills that will enhance their profile in accordance with the new requirements of the knowledge-based economy.  相似文献

在对档案袋评价的方法和特点进行归纳总结的基础上,将其应用于我国大学生创业教育教学过程的可行性和必要性进行了分析,结果是档案袋评价的应用可以加强大学生创新创业教育的针对性,优化创新创业教育教学效果,提升大学生创业能力。同时,在创业教育教学过程中使用档案袋评价法时,需要根据不同的项目和教学要求进行共性个性相结合的设计,明确使用原则和使用方法,注意及时纠偏。该评价方法的使用在创业教育教学过程中有利有弊,但从长期发展趋势来看具有较好的应用前景。  相似文献

The retrospective amount of research literature dedicated to entrepreneurship education (EE) is overwhelming, which makes producing an overview difficult. However, advanced bibliometric mapping and clustering techniques can help visualize and structure complex research literature. Thus, the objective of this mapping study is to systematically explore and cluster the EE research literature to deliver a taxonomic scheme that can serve as a basis for future research. The analyzed data, which were drawn from the Web of Science and Scopus, consist of 1773 peer-reviewed documents published between 1975 and 2014. On the one hand, this taxonomy should create stronger ties to educational research; on the other, it can foster international research collaboration to boost both interdisciplinary EE and its impact on a global basis. This work reinforces our understanding of current EE research by identifying and distilling the most powerful intellectual relationships among its contributions and contributors. Consequently, this study addresses not only the academic community but also entrepreneurship educators and policymakers in an effort to boost entrepreneurial spirit, design effective policy instruments, and, ultimately, improve societal welfare.  相似文献

The purpose of this paper is to identify the presence of emotions in the constitution of popular education in Latin America, thus contributing to understand popular education as a thinking-feeling practice. It starts from the assumption that emotions are also historical and cultural expressions that mark societies and their understanding of education. In the chronicles of Guaman Poma de Ayala, one can see signs of the resistance to the conquest and of the ambivalence that characterizes coloniality; in Juana Inés de la Cruz, one hears the voice of a woman who breaks the silence; in Paulo Freire, lovingness and indignation are constitutive elements of his liberating pedagogy. In history, some emotions, such as honour, lose their strength or have their meaning changed; others, such as solidarity and insurgency, appear as possibilities of transformation in new times. The study attempts to contribute to the understanding of the complex relation between rationality and emotions in education.  相似文献

The purpose of this paper is to examine the activities of vocational education teachers when networking in entrepreneurship education. The study examines how the background characteristics of the teachers and their participation in planning and training activities explain the level of use of external stakeholders. As a method, a linear regression analysis has been used. The data consists of 448 Finnish vocational education and training (VET) teachers.The results show that the teachers' business background or work experience does not lead to richer practices regarding utilizing different external stakeholders. However, teachers that participated in school or regional-level entrepreneurship education planning or training utilize external stakeholders significantly more than their colleagues.  相似文献

Success and failure in entrepreneurship affects not only entrepreneurs but also many participants in their entrepreneurial relationships. Studies have led us to consider the social and moral dimensions within entrepreneurship education. Doubts arise, however, when one asks how moral principles can be included in entrepreneurship education in order to produce more socially responsible graduates. In the current debate, the role that religions may play in providing moral teachings for entrepreneurship is becoming increasingly important, and religious narratives as educational tools are growing in significance. Emotions experienced in educational settings link to students’ motivation, engagement, learning, and achievement. Despite meaningful interconnections between emotions, motivation, and desired outcomes, a dearth of research on student emotions in physical education (PE) currently exists. The Control-Value Theory of Achievement Emotions (CVTAE) highlights the importance of emotions within students’ achievement motivation and provides a comprehensive framework for investigating their antecedents and outcomes. The purpose of this investigation was to explore CVTAE as a potential framework to understand students’ achievement emotions in PE. Based on the Methodological Triangulation, this paper proposes and validates a new model for measuring the effectiveness of entrepreneurship education on the three dimensions- entrepreneurial competencies, barriers, and intentions, which are usually studied independently in the literature. A total of 308 entrepreneurship education students, who enrolled in two different campuses at a major Chinese university, participated in this study to explore the feedback mode of three key variables. The findings show that the improvement of participants’ entrepreneurial competencies, the reduction of entrepreneurial barriers, and the change of entrepreneurial intention reflect the effectiveness of entrepreneurial education for college students. The proposed model can comprehensively measure the effectiveness of entrepreneurship education by discussing the relations among three key variables and the scope of the model application. The model provides solutions for the development and improvement of entrepreneurship education programs and a standard framework for comparative research on cross-regional or cross-cultural entrepreneurship education.  相似文献

To advance emotion research in education, there is a need to develop practical and context-relevant measures of emotion and to test the applicability of emotion theories using these measures. In two studies, we examined validity evidence of a self-report scale (the Medical Emotion Scale, MES) designed to measure the unique range of emotions activated within medical education. In Study 1, we administered the MES and conducted interviews with medical trainees (N = 15). Content analysis of interviews demonstrated that the MES captured an appropriate range of emotions and that there was alignment between scale responses and interview responses. In Study 2, we measured medical trainees' (N = 60) emotions using the MES for three learning environments. Results from principal components analysis revealed a structure of emotions according to valence (negative, positive) and novelty. The findings have implications for the measurement of emotions within technology-rich learning environments and beyond.  相似文献

We have developed a university entrepreneurship program, culminating in a prototype and business plan, with five objectives: (1) value for all academic participants’ (2) introduction to engineering issues for students; (3) refinement of engineering students’ ‘soft’ skills; (4) training for students in creating value out of embryonic ideas; and (5) a genuine entrepreneurship opportunity for students who wish to pursue a start-up company. The framework is disclosed in the context of three case studies. Furthermore, educational outcomes are derived and discussed based on participant evaluations and faculty reflection. Value creation is evaluated in terms of student performance in graduation exams, in external competitions, industrial interest, investment, intellectual property creation, and market intelligence. Finally, factors that add value to or redirect university research are discussed in the context to better serve society.  相似文献
