继续教育中学历教育和非学历教育的结合模式研究

学历教育和非学历教育相结合已成为继续教育的必然趋势,同时也是构建我国开放的终身教育体系的一个重点。文章从政策层面、教育监管、管理部门沟通协调和学习者需求四个方面提出了继续教育中学历教育和非学历教育的结合模式:政府宏观政策引导;多元主管部门协调监管;办学机构协作互补;学员"学历"、"技能"双收的培养模式。     

论推进学历教育与非学历教育的沟通

目前我国学历教育发展得比较完善,但非学历教育由于没有受到足够的重视,发展比较缓慢。随着社会对非学历教育的需求越来越多,推进学历教育与非学历教育已成为必然之势。学历教育与非学历教育的双向沟通既适应了求学者的需要,又提高了教育资源的利用率,是构建终身教育体系,形成学习型社会的有效途径。     

搭建成人高等学历教育与非学历教育“立交桥”

当下中国,政治、经济、文化飞速发展,终身教育和学习化社会正在深刻影响着成人教育的发展趋势,成人教育作为国民教育的关键组成部分扮演着越来越重要的角色。成人教育有两种形式:学历教育与非学历教育。学历教育因为其发展较早已经比较完善;非学历教育因为适应经济、社会的发展要求,各种岗位、资格、证书培训如雨后春笋般出现而且发展壮大。本文试图对这两种教育形式如何交流融合进行探讨,搭建成人高等学历教育与非学历教育的\"立交桥\"。     

Individual flipped learning and cooperative flipped learning: their effects on students’ performance,social, and computer anxiety

The purpose of this study is to differentiate the effect of cooperative learning strategy integrated with a flipped learning (FL) model from sole FL implementation in promoting students’ performances while decreasing their social and computer anxiety in an undergraduate course. As a method, a classical experimental design is used. The participants were from the department of English Language and Literature, and Translation and Interpretation. Students were randomly assigned to individual FL (the control group) class; and FL with cooperative activities (experimental group) class. The groups were randomly assigned as experimental and control by tossing a coin. The implementation took 10 weeks. Students’ performances (grades), social anxiety, and computer anxiety were dependent variables of the study and they were compared through multivariate analysis of variance. The results indicated that there is no significant mean difference between groups’ performances; however; the group of FL with cooperative activities had less social anxiety, but no significant change occurred at their computer anxiety level.

当前,对高等教育中学历与职业资格的认识和使用存在一定的混淆。那么,二者到底是何涵义,有何联系与区别,文章拟对此作出分析。     

两年制对人文社科类硕士研究生的影响——一项基于学生与导师的调查

两年制是现行硕士研究生教育改革的趋势,也是中国市场经济发展的趋势。本文以问卷调查和访谈的方式,探讨了硕士研究生与导师对于缩短学制的原因,两年制对学生学习研究与就业的影响,以及适合于实行两年制的专业及培养模式的建议等问题的看法。     

构建和谐的成人高等学历教育办学环境

我国的成人高等学历教育正面临着改革开放新形势下的各种新情况新问题,虽然正在努力探索一条求生存、谋发展、寻突破的新路,但许多成人高校在招生宣传、组织教学、师资配备、学员管理、办学投入等诸多环节上存在这样或那样违背办学宗旨的不和谐音符,在建设和谐社会的大背景下,这种不和谐因素严重影响了我国成人高等教育事业的健康快速发展,也对全社会人才培养机制造成恶劣影响,因此构建和谐的成人高等学历教育办学环境势在必行,成人高校应针对各种不和谐因素采取切实可行的措施加以改进.     

Perspectives of Schooling through Karaoke: A metaphorical analysis

This paper plays with education through the analogy of karaoke to tease out the instructions of a situated educational practice. Here, Cremin's conceptualization of education as a deliberate, systematic and sustained effort is employed as a starting point to enable an understanding of educational practice between members elicited by karaoke. Using Garfinkel's ethnomethodological framework, the paper investigates modes of education through karaoke practice as part of the ‘live’ narrative, that of instructing and being instructed with the ‘curriculum’ of the event at hand.     

Activating learning in engineering education using ICT and the concept of ‘Flipping the classroom’

ABSTRACT

This case study trialled the introduction of a student-response system (Top Hat) in a third-year engineering Fluid Mechanics course (n?=?44) to improve student engagement, motivation and cognition. It was recognised that for the potential benefits of student-response systems (SRSs) to be fully realised, more time must be allocated for student engagement and the active learning components of the course. In order to allow sufficient time to fully engage with the SRSs and other classroom activities, traditional lectures were revised and the classroom format was flipped. This paper presents the initial case study results focusing on the use of SRSs. Overall, the new flipped lecture and SRS teaching format demonstrated a substantial increase in the level of student engagement, motivation, active learning and attendance compared to previous cohorts. However, the increased levels of engagement did not appear to reflect on any large increase in students’ individual grades.     

Social Inclusion for South Australian schooling? Trying to reconcile the promise and the practice

This paper will trace the adoption of a policy of Social Inclusion in schools in one Australian state in terms of the way in which the policy direction, its discourses and adoption reflect a rhetoric of what Ball has labelled a ‘paradigm of convergence’. The analysis will show that the policy discourse, especially in its focus on school retention, appears to endorse the vision of a neo‐liberal entrepreneurial competitor as the educated product despite being initiated and implemented by a Labor state government within a rhetoric of community concern for social justice. The second part of the paper reports on the ways in which primary school leaders have responded to this policy which reflects some older educational discourses and is more in line with a prior version of a well‐run school and an inclusive society.

Facebook use in the learning environment: do students want this?

The Net Generation (those born in or after 1980) rely heavily on ICTs for social and professional interactions, and it has been suggested that they have the expectation that technology will be an integral part of their education. At the same time, it is argued that Facebook has educational potential, and that today's learners should be encouraged and supported to use Web 2.0 technologies for learning in formal education. However, there is growing evidence that the value of Facebook in the educational context does not relate to formal learning at all, but to the ‘social networking’ elements of the site. This Viewpoint article discusses the results of a study to explore students' views towards the use of Facebook in the university setting, especially with regard to learning and integration into university life. The findings suggest support for informal rather than formal learning use of Facebook within the university setting.

高校函授站作为从事成人学历培训和继续教育的管理机构,承担着成人高等函授教育的宣传发动、教学运行、学籍管理等各项任务。在新的形势下,成人教育尤其是函授教育面临着极大的挑战,落后的教学模式、教育理念、管理体制,陈旧的教学方法,阻碍着函授教育的开展,致使函授教育在整个教育体系中发展滞后。积极探索函授教育发展的新模式,充分发挥函授教育的效能,使之融入到终身教育的体系之中,这是函授工作走出困境的必由之路。     

Students’ perceptions of the flipped classroom model in an engineering course: a case study

The flipped classroom model is an innovative educational trend that has been widely adopted in the social sciences but not engineering education. In this model, an active instructional approach shifts the educational strategy from a teacher- to a student-centred approach. The purpose of this study is to compare the learning outcomes of engineering students attending a flipped-model section of the Dynamics of Structures course with students attending a traditional, lecture-based section of the same course taught by the same instructor. The results confirm previous research showing that test scores in the flipped course sections were slightly higher than traditional sections. Although the improvement in test scores was statistically insignificant, student statements indicated that the flipped model promoted a deeper, broader perspective on learning, facilitated problem-solving strategies and improved critical-thinking abilities, self-confidence and teamwork skills, which are needed for a successful engineering career.     

工科院校人文社科课程设置比较

本文通过对世界上几所著名工科院校(专业)培养目标、课程设置和学时比例的比较分析,结合我国高等工科教育的现状,对我国高等工科教育中人文社科课程的课程门类和学时比例提出了具体意见。     

\"扎根\"课堂:翻转课堂的扎根式教学创新

新冠肺炎疫情影响下混合式教学在中国大学校园得到广泛应用,越来越多大学教师采用翻转课堂来开展教学活动,但在如何实现以学习者为中心方面仍面临着诸多挑战,进而影响翻转课堂的教学过程与质量。为改善翻转课堂在教学活动等方面存在的不足之处,运用扎根理论来改进翻转课堂的教学模式设计,基于扎根理论研究程序开发扎根式课堂学习规范和标准,构建以个体问题导向学习、小组合作翻转研讨、集体翻转研讨等为特征的翻转学习机制,并在课程教学中进行了实践应用,检验其必要性和可行性。研究表明,对翻转课堂进行扎根式教学设计,可以更有效地实现以学习者为中心的翻转教学,为大学生从浅层学习走向深度学习提供有益帮助。
