心理学范畴的“人格”是指人的性格、气质、能力等特征的总和,即人的个性。哲学美学范畴的人格是指对个体人的全部本质、属性和丰富性的高度综合,其发展是有层次性的,即经过两次超越,从“自然的人”到“社会的人”再到“审美的人”。社会型人格属于“实用型”人格,当个体行为都以实用功利为目的时,与社会、自然的关系不可能总是和谐的。而“审美型”人格追求社会、自然和自我的和谐、秩序,追求自我知、情、意、行的统一,追求“美”。所以“审美型”人格是一种“完满型”人格。
