在美国夏洛特(Charlotte)开设幼儿园的老朋友最近来信,谈起她所接触列的一些美国孩子的情况及感想,现摘录整理如下: 美国对婴幼儿教育非常强调培养其独立性。孩子从生下来第一天开始就与母亲分开睡,有的还一个人一张床一个卧室。夜间母亲起来两三次喂奶和换尿布。稍稍长大后,只要有一点点自我服务的机会,父母都极重视,让他去实践,从不包办代替。很小就让他们自己穿脱鞋袜衣服。大人对孩子的劳动很尊重,并不多加
