网络环境下的英汉翻译

科技进步和网络技术的日益发展和成熟在改变生活方式的同时也在改变英汉翻译的形式和内容。对于翻译工作的从业者而言,使用网络工具和网络信息势必有直观,便捷,信息量大等优势。然而,面对网络翻译工具提供的大量信息,甄别其内容真实与否,严谨与否等也对翻译工作提出了新要求。面对日渐普及的网络翻译工具,译者需从三个角度出发,在科学辨析网络翻译信息的学术性和严谨性的基础上,采取审慎批判的眼光,不断提高自身的语言文化素质,积累使用方法,达到正确高效使用网络翻译的目的。     

Online learning and performance support in organizational environments using performance support platforms

An electronic performance support system (EPSS) is a method that integrates learning and task performance into one single action by providing information and guidance during performance. Wide‐range EPSS effectiveness research has been conducted by Tel Aviv University in tandem with a large telecommunications firm implementing EPSS solutions. The objective was to identify the factors that were instrumental in the realization of EPSS's potential in corporate settings. This article focuses on effectiveness differences in two common organizational environments: the learning and the working domains.     

镍基催化剂载体对催化苯加氢反应性能的影响

利用不同载体采用共沉淀法制备了负载型镍催化剂,用于苯完全加氢反应,研究了载体对催化剂活性的影响,并采用粒度分析、XRD等手段对催化剂进行了表征。结果表明,在140℃～190℃和4MPa氢压下,载体不同,催化剂活性相差很大,由高到低顺序依次为：SiO2〉硅藻土〉ZrO2〉TiO2〉γ—Al2O3。研究表明,这种差异来源于载体的比表面积,活性组分的分散程度以及活性组分与载体的相互作用。具有较大的比表面积,活性组分分散均匀,活性组分与载体具有适宜相互作用的SiO2作载体,催化剂具有最好的加氢活性。     

Should you show me the money? Concrete objects both hurt and help performance on mathematics problems

How do concrete objects that cue real-world knowledge affect students' performance on mathematics word problems? In Experiment 1, fourth- and sixth-grade students (N = 229) solved word problems involving money. Students in the experimental condition were given bills and coins to help them solve the problems, and students in the control condition were not. Students in the experimental condition solved fewer problems correctly. Experiment 2 tested whether this effect was due to the perceptually rich nature of the materials. Fifth-grade students (N = 79) were given: perceptually rich bills and coins, bland bills and coins, or no bills and coins. Students in the perceptually rich condition made the most errors; however, their errors were least likely to be conceptual errors. Results suggest that the use of perceptually rich concrete objects conveys both advantages and disadvantages in children's performance in school mathematics.
