怀特海的智慧教育观认为,培养智慧是教育的目的,培养智慧的教育要面向生活,培养智慧要以人的主动性为基础,培养智慧就是培养一种风格,一种有关审美的风格意识。而在西方哲学史的教学中,这种智慧教育观要求教学要培养学生的智慧,要立足于学生的生活世界,要激发学生的主动性,要培养学生的价值感。怀特海的智慧教育观是以其哲学为基础的,可以带给我们更深刻的启示。 相似文献

What kind of art education best takes up the educational opportunity of cultural diversity? This article draws on Merton's distinction between local and cosmopolitan perspectives on culture to contrast different models of art education in a multicultural society. An example is given to illustrate a local perspective on education which seeks to affirm pupils in their own culture. This model is underpinned by a particular view of culture, pluralism, art and education. Alternative views on each of these constituent elements are explored in order to make a case for an alternative model of art education - one which goes beyond culture and which can more properly be described as cosmopolitan. 相似文献

This article analyses the relationship between educational development and the socio-political and economic context of Malaysia. Under the rubric of Vision 2020, there is a liberalisation of educational policies leading to the democratisation, privatisation and decentralisation of the Malaysian educational system. In conjunction with mass education, both the primary and secondary school curricula were revised with great emphasis on the development of an all-round individual, the acquisition of basic skills, the inculcation of moral values, and the abolishment of early specialisation. The educational administrative system has been decentralised to promote school-based management and teacher empowerment. This article presents an axiomatic expression of science education: [SCIENCE EDUCATION] is a system of teaching [SCIENCE].
The axiom includes two indefinable terms, [SCIENCE EDUCATION] and [SCIENCE]. In the same way that axiomatics of geometry distinguishes
among axioms, postulates and theorems, the axiom presupposes a distinction among the three stages of cognition: axiom, postulate
and theorem. This distinction, which is properly called the axiomatics model, will draw science educators' attention to how
scientific concepts are distorted, and will develop science education towards worldview education. In the context of science
education, worldview education has the potential to enable science educators and pupils to liberate themselves from their
