成就动机是个体完成某种行为的内部动力。本文采用叶敏仁老师修订的成就动机量表对远程教育教师成就动机状况进行了问卷调查,试图通过提升远程教育教师成就动机以促进其专业化发展,从而提高教学质量。结果发现远程教育教师成就动机在性别、所教学科、学历等维度上不存在显著差异;在年龄趋势上存在拐点、发展低峰期和高峰期;在职称维度上亦是如此;远程教育追求成功动机略高于普通高校教师,普通高校教师在避免失败维度略高于远程教育教师,但不存在显著差异。  相似文献

Over the past 20 years, many theories on achievement motivation have been established to understand the complex interaction of motivational variables and identify the conditions that can enhance individuals' motivation. This review explores the role of conceptions of ability, its relations to other major motivational frameworks and factors affecting individuals' conceptions of ability, with the goal of identifying the major contributions to the research knowledge base. Research findings show that beliefs about the nature of ability are critical elements to all other major theories. Conceptions of ability and all other major theories directly affect motivational patterns and outcomes. Finally, based on the literature reviewed, a conceptual theoretical model is proposed.  相似文献

依据成就目标理论、自主性动机理论及自我效能理论,对中小学教师成就动机的特点与影响因素进行了探讨。研究发现,教师的成就目标取向和自主性动机随年龄的变化而有所起伏,而自我效能感则逐渐提高;男女教师的成就目标取向明确,都有较强的自主性动机和自我效能感;小学教师比中学教师有更积极的社会和个人价值目标取向,表现出更强的自主性和自我效能感;城乡教师的自我效能感较强,但农村教师的社会价值取向高于城市教师,有着更强烈的自主性动机。  相似文献

本文通过对大学生教育中成就动机与效果关系的剖析,力求揭示出大学生心理健康发展和教育的一般规律。大学生心理发展有一定的阶段性特点,因此心理健康教育也应有明确的针对性。在教育过程中应引导、帮助大学生确立较高的成就动机,帮助大学生确立恰当的成就目标,鼓励他们积极投身创新实践活动,力争在实践活动中不断地调整不切实际的动机,激发新的积极的动机,达到动机与效果的相对一致,促进大学生心理健康发展。  相似文献

Research in education and psychology contributes to an understanding of how educators create contexts for learning that encourage intrinsic motivation and increase academic achievement. In this article, the researcher investigated how teachers themselves define effectiveness and identified what factors influence their motivation, both positively and negatively. The purpose of this study was to explore what factors teachers self-identified as both supporting and hindering their professional motivation. An understanding of what motivates teachers to maintain effectiveness and what contributes to a loss of motivation allows administrators and districts to make professional development, personnel, and curricular decisions that nourish teacher motivation. Data analysis revealed that teacher motivation is influenced by curricular, relational, and logistical factors. Logistical elements that influence teachers' attitudes and effectiveness are discussed here. Findings reveal that the master schedule, organization of time, and the condition of the physical environment play a major role in whether and how teachers are motivated.  相似文献

We discuss the expectancy-value theory of motivation, focusing on an expectancy-value model developed and researched by Eccles, Wigfield, and their colleagues. Definitions of crucial constructs in the model, including ability beliefs, expectancies for success, and the components of subjective task values, are provided. These definitions are compared to those of related constructs, including self-efficacy, intrinsic and extrinsic motivation, and interest. Research is reviewed dealing with two issues: (1) change in children's and adolescents' ability beliefs, expectancies for success, and subjective values, and (2) relations of children's and adolescents' ability-expectancy beliefs and subjective task values to their performance and choice of activities. The achievement goal approach has attained prominence in the achievement motivation literature and has produced a valuable empirical yield. However, the precise nature of the achievement goal construct is in need of scrutiny, as is the issue of how achievement goals and their antecedents combine to produce competence-based self-regulation. In this article, we address these important conceptual issues in the context of the hierarchical model of achievement motivation. The approach–avoidance distinction, which has been an integral part of the achievement motivation literature since its inception, is highlighted throughout.  相似文献
