Workplace Bullying in Schools: Teachers’ Perceptions of Why They Were Mistreated

This article explores teachers’ perceptions of why their administrators bullied them. Data sources included surveys collected from 250 teachers and interviews with 26 teachers. Survey data indicated the main reasons teachers felt bullied were: their age, their association with a teacher union, and their behaviors. Qualitative results showed teachers felt their administrators bullied them out of jealousy, power, because a previous administrator hired them, teacher traits, and differences in teaching styles.     

论苏轼程颐在困境中的文化思路——以《苏氏易传》、《程氏易传》为比照

传统士大夫的核心困境在于,＂内圣＂和＂外王＂被迫割裂后的精神失落感。《苏氏易传》、《程氏易传》是苏轼、程颐在困境中寻求解脱的文化思路。苏轼强调＂内圣＂的独立性,全面拓展了传统士人的精神空间;程颐在＂理＂的高度上,将＂内圣＂、＂外王＂重新统一。在他们的文化思路中,学术研究和生命体验得到了充分的互动。     

A Two-Year Study of the Reading Achievement of Children Who Were Reading When They Entered First Grade

Abstract

Eighty-six residence hall upperclassmen and one hundred fraternity upperclassmen were compared in the areas of college ability, achievement, and attitudes; values utilizing college records, and the College Student Questionnaire. Findings revealed significant differences for the residence hall group in the areas of social conscience, satisfaction with major, and peer independence (p < .05) and for the fraternity sample in the area of extracurricular involvement (p < .01). No significant differences were found in either college ability or achievement. Analysis of other demographic data revealed significant differences in the areas of dating behavior and financial support. Findings indicate no lasting effect on overall college achievement by fraternities and cast some doubt on their selection procedures. Attraction of fraternity members who possess a strong need to belong and pressures for conformity in choice of majors by the fraternities was also in evidence.     

大学生在中学阶段开设体育课程情况的调查

通过对郑州大学医学院2005级500名学生的调查发现,有56.91%的大学生来自农村,而农村大学生中学阶段开设体育课的课时数明显低于城市大学生,课外活动时间城乡之间无差异,城乡大学生中学阶段体育教育方式存在较大差异。农村学生中学阶段体育课教育多采用松散式和放羊式教学。     

3岁前家庭日常护理方式与儿童自卑关系的研究

本研究以110名五年级儿童及其家长为被试，采用问卷调查法，探讨儿童3岁前的家庭日常护理方式与其现在自卑水平之间的关系。研究结果表明：（1）母亲的文化程度在家庭日常护理方式上存在显著性差异；（2）不同的家庭日常护理方式在儿童自卑方面存在显著性差异；（3）性别与儿童自卑之间没有显著相关。
