英国中小学国际教育的历史嬗变与战略动向

随着经济全球化的发展,英国中小学教育进入了国际教育的新时代.无论是参与欧盟的教育计划还是在增进与世界各国的教育交流等方面,英国均已显示出对中小学国际教育的重视.英国中小学的国际教育经历了一个逐渐演进的过程,最终形成了目前较为完善的体系.英国陆续出台的政策、计划及策略造就了现今中小学丰富多元的国际教育活动,正逐步实现培养有国际视野的国际化人才的教育目标.     

中学体育教学模式的选用现状与对策研究

运用文献资料法、调查法、逻辑分析法,对中学体育教学模式的选用现状和策略进行了调查研究,结果显示,中学体育教学模式的选用还是以传统的体育教学模式为主,必须更新观念,加强对体育教学模式的掌握,调整体育教学模式的选用种类和频率。     

中职生的升学选择及影响因素研究——基于全国10660名中职生的调查

基于中等职业教育基础性转向的政策背景,通过对全国10660位中职生的问卷调查,研究了影响我国中职生升学的若干因素。研究发现：中职生具有很高的升学意愿,且以本科为主要期望学历;毕业班和学习自我效能感强的中职生更可能选择升学;学生干部身份和学校生涯教育质量会影响中职生升学意愿;家庭对中职生升学与否的影响主要体现在经济、文化和社会资本,但影响方式和程度与普高生存在差异;对省域中职升学政策的了解和认同会促进学生升学,而对就业市场和本科招生政策的了解和认同会削弱中职生升学意愿。基于此,未来应从职教本科办学规模、高等职业教育招考机制、央地项目设置、公共财政兜底、生涯教育和升学指导等方面优化中职升学环境。     

从选拔性教育到选择性教育:英国基础教育的价值取向

20世纪80年代末,英国开始在基础教育阶段实行择校政策,试图在保证教育公平的原则下促进教育的多样化,主张"有差异的平等",承认所有学生具有不同的天赋并且使每个人达到优秀和成功,在提出多样性学校选择范围的同时,提出所有学校取得成功的政策目标,强调好学校必须发挥示范和带动作用,与本地区其他学校、地方教育管理部门和企业界合作,改造薄弱学校,推动整体教育水平的提高,达到均衡发展的目标。这一政策在取得效率与公平方面迈出了一步。     

Worth Knowing: Talmud Study and the Intellectual Values of High School Students at Liberal Jewish Day Schools

ABSTRACT

What do Jewish day school students believe constitutes good understanding and worthwhile learning in the context of their encounter with rabbinic texts in the classroom? This article shares findings from an interview study of Jewish day school students in grades 9 through 12 regarding their attitudes toward the study of Talmud. I argue that high school students’ estimations of the value of Talmud study are shaped, not only by individually held tastes, talents, and commitments, but also by a set of shared intellectual values. These values, related to their beliefs about the purposes of learning and what good learning should accomplish for the learner, develop in the context of their schools and communities and frame how students set goals for and assess their own understanding of Talmud.     

中职开展研究性学习之合理性的追问

基于对研究性学习理论问题的认真考察,以及对中职开展研究性学习中存在的认识误区的深入剖析,以就业为导向,提出中职开展研究性学习的关键在于将课程开发纳入学校整体改革视野,课程目标与中职教育目标相吻合,同时为课程开放创造内外部条件.     

中小学公民教育现状研究评析

公民教育已成为世界各国教育中基础和核心的组成部分,中小学生的公民素质是公民教育的摇篮,学校中的公民教育是培养合格公民的主要渠道,它贯穿于公民教育、教学活动的始终,是促进公民素质提高、培育公民意识的重要根源。文章运用比较研究视角,对中小学公民教育现状存在的问题:公民教育观念转型不完善、公民教育研究薄弱、缺乏"本土化"研究视域,实证研究匮乏、研究视角比较单一,没有形成正确的归因模式等进行细致的梳理与探析,进而提出全面解决问题的对策:顺应时势,增强公民教育意识观念、切实提升元公民教育理论研究、重视中小学公民教育"本土化"问题研究、深刻把握全球化、终身教育层面的研究视角。     

Parental Motivation in School Choice

Abstract

Concerned that public schooling leads to mediocrity rather than meritocracy, many middle-class parents are seeking other options such as private schools, alternative public schools, and charter schools to develop their children's academic, creative, and athletic talents. Based on a mixed method investigation of school choice among parents (N = 1,871) in the two largest cities in the Province of Alberta, this paper examines the logic, values, and concerns that inform parental decision-making and the impact of social class differentiation in the process of selection of elementary schools. Issues surrounding the placement of gifted students in various school options are discussed.     

农村义务教育阶段择校问题研究

文章通过对山西省M贫困县基础教育进行问卷调查研究,对农村家庭择校行为产生的原因从行政管理部门、学校及家长层面进行深层次的分析,针对调查结果对该省农村义务教育择校问题提出要科学调整学校布局、合理配置资源及创新管理体制等方面的改进措施。     

Parent Resource Centers: An Innovative Mechanism for Parental Involvement in School Choice Decisions

This qualitative investigation reports on the use of Parent Resource Centers (PRCs) as a mechanism for parental involvement in public school choice decisions. Interviews with parents and staff at seven PRCs in Florida revealed that PRCs employ multiple strategies to communicate choice information to parents: community-, school- and media-based outreach; outreach to hard-to-reach parents; and collaboration with other agencies. Personalized assistance and provision of choice materials are also highlighted as useful strategies. Results indicate that there is low level of awareness about school choice options among parents and thus clear and consistent communication of choice information is needed. While PRCs hold promise for increasing parental engagement in school choice, structural and systemic barriers to exercising choice decisions such as transportation and collaboration between schools and PRCs should be addressed. Methodologically, this study illustrates the power of triangulating data from parents and PRCs to illuminate our understanding of how parents make choice decisions.

本文在回顾历史和分析现状的基础上,将当代日本中小学道德教育的发展趋势归结为"控制"和反"控制"的冲突仍将持续、"规范"和"发展"并重的趋势日益彰显、道德教育理论和实践的联系更加紧密、终身道德学习将从"片面"走向"全面"等四个方面.     

中职学校开展心理健康教育之我见

学生心理健康问题是当今的社会问题之一,对学生特别是中职生进行心理健康教育十分必要。把心理健康教育纳入中职学校的日常管理之中,创设良好的学校内部心理环境、家庭心理环境和社区生活环境,通过组织教师学习理论知识、深入调查研究、采用科学方法等方式、努力提高教师的心理健康教育意识和能力,引导其以课堂为主渠道全方位、多角度地对学生进行心理健康综合教育,从而提高学生的心理素质．     

ICT as a Change Agent of Mathematics Teaching in Swedish Secondary School

There is a common assumption that computers will change the conditions for mathematics teaching. In this article the author discusses how the computer as a change-agent may influence the conditions, methods and results in everyday mathematics teaching. The empirical material is collected through interviews with eighteen teachers in lower secondary school. The author has also participated in all computer-aided lessons given by two teachers during one year. That means 700 possible computer-aided lessons. Teaching of mathematics seems to have such a strong tradition that the computer as a change-agent is relatively weak. The fact is that the computer is assimilated into an old tradition of methods and contents. A great deal of the computer-aided lessons give attention to drilling pupils with different types of drill-program where they can learn mathematical procedures. In some lessons laborative work is pursued with the intention that the pupils computer-aided learn mathematical concepts.

教师在教学中要收到良好的教学效果,不能忘记育人工作。以自己的形象影响学生,以自己的爱心关心学生,指正学生的不良言行,就能在教学中起到事半功倍的作用。     

School educational project as a criterion of school choice: discourses and practices in the city of Barcelona

In its advancement towards an education quasi-market, Catalonia has recently been driving the development of school educational projects in all schools (both public and private) as a tool to facilitate school autonomy and family choices. A school educational project is a formal document in which schools identify their pedagogical goals, missions and orientations, their academic resources and organisational structures. Through the analysis of 60 in-depth interviews with parents of children at the age of commencing universal pre-primary education (three years old) and data collected from surveys completed by a representative sample made up of 3245 families, this article explores the impact of this policy on discourses and practices of school choice amongst families in the city of Barcelona. On the one hand, we observe that interest in educational projects has penetrated the discourses of the most educated parents, even though, at the same time, we detect a generalised lack of knowledge of the content of such projects. On the other hand, we note that the social composition of schools is still a prominent factor in choice practices. Such findings question the ideal of the autonomous and rational citizen-consumer that underlies the policy of establishing educational projects.

农民工家长择校问题是在中国人口迁移与流动趋于家庭化后出现的新问题。不同于以往研究对家庭经济因素的强调,研究的结果显示了家庭社会资本与文化资本是对农民工家长教育选择的重要性,从个体特征看,农民工家长的受教育程度,流人地居住时间是影响其选择学校的主要因素;从家庭影响因素看,家庭结构和教育期望是影响农民工家长择校的重要原因。择校信息的获取和判断的差异是农民工家长择校的关键原因。
