In international marketing,the brand name of a certain product serves as an important element that may affect its prospect in the market.Particularly,for those foreign products entering China,the translation of the brand names directly influences their success in this huge market.A well-received translation of the brand name surely helps to promote the sales of the product.On the contrary,the product may not survive in the market.This paper focuses on analyzing and summarizing the methods and characteristics for the typical translation of foreign brand names in China at present,thus can be instructive and directive for other foreign products to enter China’s market.  相似文献

The Hong Kong Hang Seng index futures is taken as a study object and a method of empirical analysis is adopted in order to verify the validity of the application of the value-at-risk (VaR) method in the risk measurement of the stock index futures market. The results suggest that under normal market conditions it is feasible to apply the VaR method in the measurement of the market risks of stock index futures. The daily VaR value of the stock index futures provides a foreseeable profit and loss of the stock index futures. Financial supervisors can adjust their supervising strategies according to the daily VaR value. The speculators can adjust risk capital reserve rates in the same way. The application of this method in China's stock index futures market requires the solutions to specific problems: the absence of historical data, the difficult confirmation of non-risk interest rates etc.  相似文献

Option contract is one of the most important instruments for power generators developing bidding strategies and hedging market risk. Based on the peculiarities of bid-based-pool (BBP) power markets, a joint two-stage Cournot equilibrium model for option and spot markets is developed, and analytical formulas for market equilibrium are derived using a backward induction method. The impacts of option contract on efficiency of electricity markets and the behaviors of strategic generators are analyzed. The results show that strategic generators will voluntarily participate in strategic option contracting, and the existence of option contract accelerates the degree of competitive intensity in electricity markets and mitigates the market power abuse of generators to a large extent. In order to retain high spot market price and stable revenues, generators are interested in holding extremely high volatility of spot market price.  相似文献
