在今天这个信息爆炸与科技迅速发展的时代，信息保存、信息结构、信息获得与信息评价等已经成为社会所关注的重要问题。如何对待和处理信息教育已成为学生能否学以成功的关键。美国的图书馆员，尤其是高校的图书馆员们，充分地认识到了信息教育的重要性和关键性，力图寻找传授信息的最佳方法。其目的是把信息教育有效地融入课堂教学中去，最终能使学生不仅在学校学习期间学以成功，而且能够将所学技巧与知识为终生所用。本论文将介绍与探讨将信息教育融入课程设置中去的一些有效方法，并详细阐述通过图书馆员与教师合作的方式而进行信息教育之成功的范例。     

基于创新能力培养的理工科大学生信息素质教育研究

理工科大学生是国家未来科技发展的主力军,是技术创新的带头人。阐述了理工科大学生创新能力培养的重要性,并就如何通过信息素质教育培养与提高理工科大学生的创新能力进行了深入探讨。     

Collaboration and Information Literacy

Abstract

The National University Library Information Literacy Plan has been in place since 1999. Following a slow start, information literacy has begun to be accepted throughout the University. Faculty collaboration, dogged determination of librarians, and impressive assessment results have helped pave the way for this program. In this paper, a program overview will be briefly discussed followed by the National University LIC Librarians (virtual librarians at the regional learning centers) discussing faculty collaboration efforts, a University core curriculum class on information literacy, and information literacy assessment.     

大学生的"网瘾综合症"与信息素质教育

本分析了大学生“网瘾综合症”的现象和产生的原因，指出“网瘾综合症”对大学生所造成的不良影响，提出当前在网络环境下有关对我国大学生进行信息素质教育的一些看法。

文章从宏观和微观两方面提出了大学生信息素养教育建构方案,提出应在宏观政策的支持下,从大学生信息素养教育的目标、理论、内容、模式、管理、评价等方面着手,构建具有层次性和普及性的信息素养教育体系.     

高校信息素养教育与MOOC的有机结合

[目的/意义] 针对为高等教育带来巨大影响的MOOC课程及其建设理念,探讨其与高校信息素养教育相结合的契机与存在的问题,并对二者相结合的不同模式进行比较和分析。[方法/过程] 通过汇总分析国内外关于高校图书馆在MOOC领域相关工作和进展的文献及案例报道,并结合自身实践,归纳出高校信息素养教育在MOOC环境下现有的和未来可能的发展方向。[结果/结论] 给出并对比分析高校信息素养教育与MOOC相结合的几种可行模式,为高校图书馆更好地利用MOOC发展和推进信息素养教育工作提供更多思路。     

Library-Led Faculty Workshops: Helping Distance Educators Meet Information Literacy Goals in the Online Classroom

ABSTRACT

At University of Maryland University College (UMUC), librarians have designed and led a number of multiday, asynchronous online workshops for faculty. The workshops teach faculty how to meet information literacy goals in the virtual classroom. Through hands-on activities and discussion among their colleagues, participants in the faculty workshops learn about the university's information literacy standards, library resources and services, free Web tools, and how best to design class assignments involving library research. Library-led faculty workshops at UMUC have increased library visibility and furthered collaboration between faculty and librarians. This article discusses 5 workshops, detailing workshop content and logistics and demonstrating how librarians can help distance faculty further information literacy goals for students.     

高校开展专业信息素质教育的探讨

信息素质教育和专业素质教育有着极为密切的关系。文章提出开展专业信息素质教育的构想,即将信息素质教育融入院系专业教学工作中,数字化信息资源与教材配套使用,在专业课教学过程中渗透对数字化信息资源的学与用,藉此实现专业素质教育和信息素质教育的兼顾和双赢,解决长期困扰高校信息素质教育被动无力难题,并对其可行性和实施步骤进行初步的探讨。     

高校信息素养课程规划研究

在分析国内高校信息素养课程现状的基础上，对信息素养课程的类型进行了规划，主要包括：独立课程（核心课程）、综合课程、活动课程和隐性课程。     

An Analysis of Undergraduate Students' Search Behaviors in an Information Literacy Class

The purpose of this project was to investigate how students' search strategies changed over the course of a semester-long information literacy class. Data collection included four different paper questionnaires corresponding to course content in the spring 2008 semester. Seventy-seven participants completed the questionnaires and course work in the class. Results showed that participants' demographics did not have any impact on their selection of search keywords. While participants reported better search experiences with more search keywords, they were not able to develop more sophisticated search keywords after receiving more instruction and search experience. The participants who did develop more sophisticated search keywords had better search experiences and a higher rate of satisfaction with their research results. Future studies should examine what enabled these participants to develop more sophisticated search keywords.

通过对英国主要信息素养组织机构、学术活动、标准框架的演进以及英国高校信息素养教育发展现状的调研,可以看出分阶段的信息素养教育、结合专业的信息技能培养、开展在线课程以及多元化的信息服务是目前培养学生信息技能乃至终身学习能力的重要走向。

从高校图书馆对大学生实施信息素质教育的重要性 ,教育的历史背景和存在的问题 ,教育内容 ,教育模式等四个方面 ,论述了图书馆在学生的成长过程中 ,如何发挥信息素质教育的平台作用     

十年来我国信息素养研究述评——对信息素养研究论文的计量分析

采用文献计量学方法,从信息素养定义与内涵、信息素养评价标准和实践、信息素养与文献信息机构的关系、信息素养与图书情报领域热点问题的相关性研究4个方面对十年间信息素养研究论文进行全面分析,并在此基础上,指出今后信息素养研究的重点及应注意的问题。     

Connecting Past to Future Needs: Nursing Faculty and Librarian Collaboration to Support Students’ Academic Success

The article illustrates the evolution of a research assignment in an undergraduate nursing course and the development of the information literacy session. The authors show how, through a variety of strategies, they were able to retain research and writing rigor and at the same time, decrease research stress in the students. Through feedback from students, observations, and analysis of the research articles, the authors were able to think critically on how and what to teach the students. The article supports the existing literature on research stress in nursing students and offers a model on how nursing faculty and librarians can collaborate to support students’ academic success.
