Facilitating the Development of Assessment Literacy

When STARS reform efforts were launched in 2000, teacher training in assessment was seen as crucial to the success of the program. The STARS reform efforts focus on both supporting the implementation of quality classroom assessment practices and implementing a district-based accountability system. The training programs described in this article were developed in response to one or both of these needs. Two of the programs were designed to provide training to experienced teacher. The other two programs were designed to meet the needs of pre-service teachers. Evidence suggests that the training programs have had a positive impact on teacher confidence, knowledge, and skill in key areas of assessment. In addition, there also appears to be evidence, while somewhat limited, which suggests students also experience positive outcomes.

Using the Blended Learning Approach in a Quantitative Literacy Course

The efforts to improve the quantitative reasoning (quantitative literacy) skills of college students in the United States have been gaining momentum in recent years. At the same time, the blended learning approach to course delivery has gained in popularity, promising better learning with flexible modalities and pace. This paper presents the results of an exploratory study that compares student learning outcomes and student attitudes over several semesters of blended versus traditional delivery in the upper-division quantitative literacy course at Point Loma Nazarene University.

依据高等学校本科教学工作水平评估中专家对本科毕业设计(论文)质量的评阅结果，作进一步的统计分析，依此辨析高等学校本科毕业设计(论文)所处的状态，查找存在的问题，并分析问题的成因，以便为提高本科毕业设计(论文)水平提供依据。     

A Systematic Review of Assessment Literacy Measures

This work systematically reviews teacher assessment literacy measures within the context of contemporary teacher evaluation policy. In this study, the researchers collected objective tests of assessment knowledge, teacher self‐reports, and rubrics to evaluate teachers’ work in assessment literacy studies from 1991 to 2012. Then they evaluated the psychometric work from these measures against a set of claims related to score interpretation and use. Across the 36 measures reviewed, they found support for these claims was weak. This outcome highlights the need for increased work on assessment literacy measures in the educational measurement field. The authors conclude with recommendations and a resource to inform a research agenda focused on assessment literacy measurement to inform policy and practice.

健康是人首要和珍贵的财富,实现健康及其可持续发展的重要途径是提高健康素养。健康素养是保障人全面发展的必备素养,是反映经济社会发展水平的综合性指标,是体现教育质量和教育公平的重要素养。健康素养具有综合性、层次性、互动性、终身性和目的性等特点。基于健康素养的不同界定,国际上开发了大量的以成年人为对象的健康素养评价工具。国际上的健康素养研究为我国学生健康生活素养研究的开展提供了借鉴:应准确理解和把握学生健康生活素养的内涵,开发完善我国学生健康生活素养的评价体系,高度重视沟通性和批判性健康素养的培养。     

小学数学教师基础素养培养研究

数学素养体现了一个人应用数学知识解决问题的能力,对于一个小学数学教师来说,这一能力尤为重要。数学素养不仅仅包含了一个人的数学能力,更体现了一个人的知识水平。在新课改的背景下,素质教育逐渐普及,因此小学数学教师的基础素养培训变得十分重要。笔者在本文中结合具体情况对这一问题进行了详细的阐述。     

大学生体育锻炼态度的若干差别及其原因调研——以昆明地区本科大学生为例

对昆明地区大学生的体育锻炼态度进行问卷调查,结合对教师和部分学生进行访谈,并且参考部分专家对体育锻炼态度的研究理论,探讨大学生的锻炼态度在不同性别、学科、生源上的差异,以及分析引起差异的原因,旨在为社会、学校、家庭提供大学生的体育锻炼态度的研究成果,提高对大学生的体育锻炼态度的认识水平。     

当代大学生地球科学素养现状调查研究

为实现人类、社会、地球和谐发展,时代要求大学生具有较高的地球科学素养。我们针对大学生地球科学素养现状水平问题,发放调查问卷1265份,从地球基本知识、地质资源、地质灾害及地球科学理论与历史四个方面进行调查,分析了大学生地球科学素养水平现状。     

五年制幼师生的地理素养教育

国务院《关于当前发展学前教育的若干意见》的颁布,为我国现阶段学前教育提供了更大的发展空间,我国迫切需要尽快地培养出一大批高素质的幼儿教师,来适应社会发展需求。地理素养是幼师学生必备的职业素养之一,为加强五年制幼师生地理素养教育,提高五年制幼师生整体素质,应加强地理知识、地理技能、地理态度、地理人文等方面的素养教育。     

美国教师评价素养研究述评

围绕"评价素养是什么"、"教师需要怎样的评价素养"、"如何发展教师评价素养"等基本问题,梳理、评论美国有关教师评价素养研究方面的成果。在此基础上,为我国开启这方面的研究提供建议,一是处理好三对关系,即评价素养与专业素养的关系、评价与教学的关系以及教师评价素养与学生学业成就的关系;二是建构本土化的教师评价素养框架;三是调查与分析教师评价素养状况。     

论英语教师语言测试素养的培养

随着英语测试特别是大规模标准化测试在当代社会当中的重要性日益凸显,英语教师的语言测试素养的培养也逐渐成为国内外学者关注的问题。本文首先探讨了语言测试素养的定义,然后从英语教师的职业属性、大规模标准化测试给英语教师的冲击以及测试对于教、学的促进作用等三方面探讨培养语言教师测试素养的重要性,并提出了语言测试素养的培养途径。     

师范院校本科生信息素质教育研究

从我国高等师范教育改革的实际出发,分析了信息素质的构成及师范院校本科生信息素质教育的必要性,并结合本校几年来信息素质教育实践探讨了师范院校本科生信息素质教育的途径。     

Undergraduate Students’ Conceptions of Mathematics: An International Study

In this paper, we report on an international study of undergraduate mathematics students’ conceptions of mathematics. Almost 1,200 students in five countries completed a short survey including three open-ended questions asking about their views of mathematics and its role in their future studies and planned professions. Responses were analysed starting from a previously-developed phenomenographic framework (Reid et al., 2003) which required only minor modification. Students’ conceptions of mathematics ranged from the narrowest view as a focus on calculations with numbers, through a notion of mathematics as a focus on models or abstract structures, to the broadest view of mathematics as an approach to life and a way of thinking. Broader conceptions of mathematics were more likely to be found in later-year students (p<0.001) and there were significant differences between universities (p<0.001). The information obtained from the study not only confirms previous research, but also provides a basis for future development of a monitoring questionnaire.
