Neuroscience becomes more relevant for disciplines pertaining to children's development and education with each passing year. Thus, there is an urgent need for scholars and practitioners in these disciplines to educate themselves about the structure, function, and development of the brain, and to explore the neuroscience literature connected with their areas of professional expertise. A detailed rationale, study strategies, and resources for beginning this process are presented, based on the author's recent experiences. They provide a framework and specific guidelines for those who wish to begin to integrate a neuroscience perspective into their teaching, research, and interactions with the community, and they may arouse the curiosity of those who are not yet interested. Numerous examples of pertinent neuroscience research are included.  相似文献

The psychiatric community has only recognized Asperger Disorder (AD) as a distinct syndrome since 1994. Therefore, for most early childhood educators, AD is still a new diagnosis. The majority of the children with AD are being educated in the general education classroom although it's not uncommon to see specialized placements. Unfortunately, due to the uniqueness of this condition, teachers often question their academic and classroom management skills with these youngsters. This article suggests basic strategies in each area of AD that are useful in helping the student demonstrate success in the general education classroom or in specialized services. In addition, the characteristics of AD in young children are provided with some early indicators that may be important in early identification and referrral for specialized services.  相似文献

This article reviews several resources providing important information about the brain, including insight as to the ways in which this information connects with teaching and learning practice in the church. Humans are inherently emotional creatures due to our social nature, and emotions are able to influence how well we learn and even affect academic outcomes. Emotions are rarely a chief concern in educational settings, and we will discuss the mechanisms underlying how emotions are processed in the brain and how they influence the key aspects of learning—attention, memory, and motivation. The brain mechanisms of emotional and cognitive relationships are then detailed in order to provide some context within the modern developments of neuroscience. This will help to clarify the relationship between emotions and cognition, and hope to put forward a theoretical map based on neuroscience that helps us to better understand the pivotal role of emotions in students' cognitive activities and ultimately their performance. Various strategies, based on research findings, aimed at creating more positive learning environments are then put forward.  相似文献

数字科技的爆发式发展对公民应有的能力素养产生了革命性影响.欧盟为了从教育实践层面培养合格的数字公民,于2017年专门面向成员国教师发布了欧盟教师数字胜任力框架,期望通过此框架指导和提升教师的数字胜任力,以赋能学习者数字胜任力的发展,从而培养富有竞争力的数字公民.此框架由专业化参与域、数字化资源域、教学和学习域、评价域、赋能学习者域、促进学习者的数字胜任力域构成,共涵盖22项具体能力.值得提及的是,此框架还从胜任力发展的视角研制了教师数字胜任力进阶发展模型,以指导教师对其胜任力水平开展自主评价和个性化发展.该框架对我国教育信息化2.0阶段推进教师发展具有启示意义:应尽快开展教师数字胜任力研究、制定教师数字胜任力发展标准,以及从以人为本的发展视角持续推进教师发展实践.  相似文献

Young children who are gifted or talented share special characteristics that impact on the way they learn and develop. Teachers and parents need to consider the unique needs of each child as they plan ways to nurture and educate these youngsters. Concerns such as uneven development, the need for acceleration and/or enrichment, appropriate socialization and peer interactions, and modification of the curriculum are some of the topics discussed. The importance of adopting technology‐supported performance systems for on‐the‐job learning and training is well‐recognized in a networked economy. In this study, we present a performance support system (PSS) designed to support technology integration for lesson design. The goal is to support educators in the development of appropriate and effective technology integration strategies for learning and training events. The system is based on the PSS design architecture created by Hung and Chao (2007) called Matrix‐Aided Performance System (MAPS). MAPS was created to minimize navigational confusion and enhance users' comprehension and synthesis of information gathered from the PSS. Fifteen educators and instructional technologists were invited to evaluate the system's readiness as well as to identify potential practical constraints that might hinder its use in a real‐world setting. Findings from a perception survey and focus group interviews confirm the beneficial effects of the unified interface on navigation and orientation of content materials. Feedback provided by participants to improve the system interaction and functionality are also reported to further validate the design architecture of MAPS.  相似文献

思想政治教育内化是受教育者将社会所需要的思想政治道德转化为自身认识的过程。而内化过程作为是受教育者的一种心理活动过程,受教育者充分发挥自身的主体性外,还需要教育者起主导性作用,通过外部影响力量促使受教育者的精神世界实现第一次飞跃。教育者需要掌握思想政治教育内化涵义及基本过程,帮助受教育者的思想政治素质向社会所需要的方向转化。  相似文献
