酉水之阳

一个民族的起源发展,往往与一条河流相联系。一条小小的酉水,河畔一个小小的古酉阳县。酉之水,酉之阳,河小,县小,却关联着一个土家民族。酉水发源于湖北宣恩县,沿湘鄂渝交界南流,在八面山下折转向东,流经里耶、保靖、王村,到沅陵汇入沅江。土家族聚居区在酉水流域及其以北地区,包括澧水、清江流域以及乌江中下游地带直到长江的山区。这片山区就是武陵山区,北接巫山,南临辰水。二酉藏书 世外桃源酉水东流到湖南省永顺县境内接纳猛洞河处,有土王古都——王村。汉高祖五年(前202年),在王村设立酉阳县治,因位于酉水北岸阳坡而名酉阳。王村古镇…

陕州故城石牌坊
