乐静词 此俞阶青词，平伯手书上板者，有一印。惜刊工未能传真妙趣也。丁酉四月十八日，与俞佩　汉砚庸琴室诗絮影楼词一册同得。黄裳记。 乐静词！德清俞陛云阶青撰。一九二九年 刊。半叶十行，行十八字。白口，四周双边。卷 尾一行云：“己巳中夏男铭衡敬书讫。”下钤 “玉伯”二字，朱文小印。扉叶朱印，婿许宝蘅 敬署，摹　儿钟静郭　鼎文。卷中有“金缕曲” 一题，小序说红杏青松卷子事，可备宣南掌 故。小序云：“题京师枣花寺所藏青沟禅师绘 红杏青松卷。 禅师官明崇祯朝副将，随洪承畴 出关。易代后弃官为僧。是图盖隐寓松杏山之 战…

秋莲子词前后稿 此册为友人假去，于今四年。近始　书索归，故剑之情，念之无已。书籍乃身外之物，然贪惜之念，终不可捐。然其间又往往关涉世态人情种种，皆大千世界中空花幻影，细细观之，亦甚有趣也。此册罕传之至，太平天国之役，书版即化作柴薪，天壤间未必更有数本。西御词可存，何时当为重印，俾化身千万，庶不负此系恋之情。今冬无雪，今日始六花飞舞．竟日未止。夜饮微醺后灯下漫书。壬寅正月初九日，黄裳记。 王西御词集军见难求，见于北平图书馆善本乙目。偶然入手，最为得意。乃一为蒋某假去，索而得还；未几又沦盗窟十年，靳而…

“二百五”与“不管三七二十一”

“二百五”在现代汉语中一般有两种含义。一是指对某种事物或是某种知识一知半解的人。例如：“那些二百五大夫光会照你要的药开处方，治不了什么病。”二是指傻里傻气、做事莽撞的人。例如：“知道的说他爽快，不知道的还以为他是个二百五呢。”

家谱辨伪二则

《泾川柳氏宗谱》柳耽序是伪作 嘉庆丙子（嘉庆二十一年,即1816年）纂修的《泾川柳氏宗谱》卷首载《宗元公谱牒论》、《玭公原序》。针对前者,我已考证其为伪作;今再撰文,揭示后者亦系赝品。     

Euclidean Geometry in Two Medieval Islamic Encyclopaedias

Two early encyclopaedic treatises, written in Arabic, include extensive discussion of geometry. Although both the Rasā'il Ikhwān al-Safā' and the Kitāb al-Shifā' fall within the Euclidean tradition, their style and content differ radically. The Neo-Pythagorean and Neo-Platonic Ikhwān al-Safā' place mathematics at the head of their encyclopaedia, but develop their discussion of geometry using a "sub-Euclidean" approach. Ibn Sīnā, whose orientation is broadly Aristotelian, includes an epitome of Euclid's Elements in its entirety, yet modifies the text at numerous points.     

Jessie,a Girl with Two Moms

The Jessie Books are a seven-book series complete with a dedicated website. Each book features a 5-year-old girl named Jessie who happens to live in a city with her two moms. Each book features Jessie as an ordinary young girl engaging in familiar, life-enriching activities. Across The Jessie Books, the community of caregivers, extended relatives, and intergenerational friends convey the notion of a caring and loving family. This concept of family is relevant to elementary education in light of the expanding diversity in and around schoolchildren. Increasing numbers of school-age children have lesbian mothers and caregivers, or live in dual mom-headed households. For adults who deem The Jessie Books' narrative beyond the scope of young readers, links are made between the storylines and the English Language Arts Common Core State Standards. Ideally, upon discovery of these texts, their content and integration will be called for and embraced in the elementary curriculum.     

元代火葬风俗的两个特别现象

元朝时期,火葬颇为流行.由于版图广袤、族群众多,元代的火葬风俗具有多元化色彩.这其中,有两个比较特别的现象:一是道士使用火葬;二是畏兀儿人效仿汉人,将骨灰包裹成人的模样.前者关乎火葬行用的人群,后者涉及死者骨灰的处理方式.两者在纷繁复杂的元代火葬风俗体系里处于边角的位置,但其存在也反映了元代火葬流行的某些特点.
