任何一所高校的发展,都必须首先明确办学定位。竭力突出办学特色．定位是一个学校突出自己办学特色的基础和前提,而办学特色又很好的解读了学校定位的真实目的和内容．只有选择一个正确的定位,才能更好的有利于学校的今后发展和竞争,也能更好的突出它的办学特色,是学校沿着正确方向健康、稳定、持续发展的保证．大学办学治校者要为大学办学准确定位,就必须首先,弄清办学定位、办学特色之涵义以及它对高校改革与发展中的作用和意义．     

科学发展观视野中的高校办学定位及特色建构
