Comenius,moral and pious education,and the why,when and how of school discipline

ABSTRACT

The present study provides an analysis of John Amos Comenius’s thoughts on moral and pious education, educational governance and school discipline as expressed in Didactica Magna. This is examined from the background of his view of education as a societal phenomenon, the purposes of different categories of knowledge for individual formation and the role of pedagogy in the upbringing of children. Theoretically, this paper expands on Michel Foucault’s ideas about governmentality and discipline, as well as on Henri Lefebvre’s spatial theories. The article argues that Comenius can be viewed as a significant contributor to the early modern shift towards new administrative techniques for school governance, transmitting the mode of disciplinary power into pedogogised and didactic forms. The article contributes to achieving more systematic knowledge for understanding the focused areas of schooling, the concept of discipline and the pedagogic premises of disciplinary practice in an early-modern European educational context.     

论夸美纽斯教育教学思想中的唯物主义倾向

捷克大教育家夸美纽斯在教育史上占有十分重要的地位。由于其深刻的思想根源和时代影响,夸美纽斯阐明了体现教育教学规律及学生身心发展规律的一系列论述,具体体现在三个方面:(1)重直观和感官知觉;(2)重视事实本身及实践的作用;(3)提出了符合教学的一系列原则。而这些又无不体现了夸氏教育教学思想中的唯物主义倾向,闪现出熠熠生辉的唯物主义智慧之光,比照今天的教育,它的意义仍不可忽视。这正是我们需要重新审视夸氏教育教学思想的主旨所在。     

夸美纽斯教育思想对我国中小学教育的启示

夸美纽斯是17世纪捷克著名的教育家,其著作《大教学论》是近代第一部比较系统的教育学著作,也是独立形态教育学的开端。夸美纽斯提出的自然教育、普及教育等教育思想,不仅在当时具有超前性,而且在当下仍具有普适性。重温夸美纽斯的教育思想,对于当前我国中小学教育教学改革具有重要的启发意义。     

Contexts and functions of music in the Orbis sensualium pictus textbook by John Amos Comenius

The present study deals with the content-related and thematic, as well as visual and semantic, contexts in which musical motifs, and words and notions with a musical meaning, are placed in the Orbis sensualium pictus textbook of John Amos Comenius. They can be found in several places in the textbook in both its textual and pictorial components. They are used for a broad demarcation of the fields in which music is presented as a philosophical and aesthetic, didactic, communication, ethical and theological phenomenon. In this way, music is presented to the children of the seventeenth century through the Orbis sensualium pictus not only in the form of its specific object or event, in its metaphorical or symbolical meaning but, first of all, as a phenomenon present in the various fields of spiritual and everyday life. The reader becomes acquainted with music in its various functions, with its form, practical utilisation, relation to other fields of art and science, its position within philosophical concepts, its ethical dimension, aesthetic values, spiritual as well as transcendental essence. The purpose of the present study is to explore the essence, present the origins, genesis, sources for inspiration and objectives of the textual as well as the pictorial form of the music syllabus in this pictorial textbook, most widely used in the European context, and, at the same time, to point out the juxtapositions, links, functions and contexts into which music is placed throughout its contents.     

论夸美纽斯的《大教学论》中的首创性教育思想

夸美纽斯是西方教育史上起着承前启后作用的教育家,他的教育思想和教育实践在当时是超前的,至今,对我们仍有启示和示范作用。论文探讨了夸美纽斯的代表作《大教学论》中的首创性教育理论及其意义,以期对教育学研究和教育实践有所启发。

实施博洛尼亚进程以来,瑞典大学灵活教育发展模式颇具特点。瑞典大学的灵活教育模式涵盖了以攻读学位为目的国际化灵活教育和基于自主学习的灵活教育。在这一过程中瑞典建立了灵活学习中心和大学网络联盟两个灵活学习机构对灵活教育进行管理,以此服务于终身学习体系的构建,而基于灵活教育的终身学习体系的构建离不开个人学习帐户的支持。借鉴瑞典高校经验,为了促进我国灵活教育的发展,我国高校可尝试构建高校人才逆向供应链、实行灵活多变的学分体系、建立高校个人学习账户、推行大学网络联盟模式,同时加强高校教学与科研的国际化语境。

The fading of a teaching profession? reforms of early childhood teacher education in Sweden

In Sweden, working with young children in institutions outside the home dates back to the late nineteenth century when public child care provision developed in a context of industrialization, urbanization and democratization. Out of the charitable work of unmarried women in these early institutions, pre‐schools and teacher education programmes developed. Over the years, pre‐school teacher education has undergone major changes, the most recent reform being the move into a system within which the previous eight distinctive teacher education programmes, pre‐school teacher education being one of them, have been replaced by one integrated teaching degree. This article addresses some major features of the development of pre‐school teacher education and concludes with a discussion of the most recent reform and its consequences for the early childhood teaching profession.

试论教育研究的科学技术原理

当前教育研究主要从创新性、系统性、控制性等特征进行分析。鉴于教育的信息化发展,文章与时俱进地提出了教育研究的科学技术原理,即,教育研究原理是教育哲学、教育情意、教学科学、教育技术、教育工程、教育实践各层次原理的统一,又以教育科学与技术层次及其控制信息系统子层次原理为主导。基于该教育研究原理,文章还提出并讨论了教育研究系统,期望为教育研究的研究提供一些借鉴。

当前教育技术学领域的理论研究面临很多障碍,也存在许多迷茫,这很大程度上源于对教育技术学学科性质和理论体系认识不清晰。该文尝试提出一种教育技术学学科体系的基本框架。建构这种学科体系的基本出发点是基于下面的假设:教育技术理论发展的逻辑起点是教育技术学的学科功能——解决教育、教学问题。

二十世纪上半叶中国教育哲学的初创及其贡献

我国虽然有悠久的教育思想史,但作为学科的教育哲学始于1919年杜威来华讲学。杜威来华讲学之后,教育哲学引起了国内学者的注意和重视。从1919-1949年,我国学者先后翻译了近10本国外教育哲学,自己编著了20余本教育哲学。国人编著的教育哲学,就思想而言,有新康德主义、实用主义、三民主义、天主教主义和马克思主义;就学科体系而言,有"哲学之教育应用"体系、"各派之教育哲学"体系、"教育之哲学"体系、混合的体系等。新中国成立之前的教育哲学,不仅与西方教育哲学几乎同步发展,而且30年的建设,完成了中国教育哲学初建的任务,为新中国教育哲学的发展奠定了良好的基础。     

哈萨克斯坦独立后20年的教育现状探究

哈萨克斯坦自1991年宣布独立至2011年,经历了20年的发展历程。在这期间,随着国内政治和经济体制的转轨,哈萨克斯坦的国民教育在保持苏联时期积累的优良教育经验的基础上,通过发展新的教育模式,取得了世界公认的成绩。文章在简要介绍哈萨克斯坦教育历史的基础上,梳理其独立后出台的教育政策,用数据资料阐述教育系统的新变化。在分析教育体系存在的问题的同时,提出保证所有国民均可接受高质量教育并尽快达到"努力将哈萨克斯坦列入世界前50名最具竞争力的国家行列"这一远大教育目标。     

高校教师教育技术等级考试系统的设计与实现

高校教师教育技术培训是高等教育现代化的重要内容。本文从厦门大学教师教育技术等级培训工作的特点和需求出发,结合实践,介绍了高校教师教育技术等级考试系统的设计思路及实现功能,同时也对该考试系统在应用过程中尚需完善的方面做了探讨。     

胡适与第八届教育会联合会

第八届教育会联合会是1922年学制出台的关键会议。会后,胡适写了《第八届全国教育会联合会讨论新学制的经过》一文,记载了会上浙江代表大骂当时的教育总长、次长,他居中调解教育部和教联会冲突的事情。这篇文章成为现在研究胡适以及1922年学制的重要材料。但胡文所记事件,其间的转折甚为复杂,如以胡适在第八届教联会前后和会上的一系列言行为切入点,旁及各位与会者,扩及这一时期教育界的相关情形,则可重新定位胡适调和论的立场和结论,也可修正一些关于会上发生激烈冲突的习惯性看法,并清楚地反映20年代初期学制改革中教育界复杂的众生相。
