“僚人入蜀”是西南民族史上的一件大事，影响颇大。它促进了民族间的融合，使四川的人口、民族构成及分布发生了很大变化，促进了僚人社会的发展，也丰富了巴蜀的民俗和语言。但对四川的经济化、社会秩序均产生巨大的负面影响。
