试析英汉网络新闻中的概念隐喻

众所周知,隐喻在我们的语言中无处不在,它在学术界已经引起相当的重视.但在不同的语域中,隐喻的种类和出现频率会有很大的不同.本文从认知的视角出发,以网络英汉新闻为研究对象,阐释并分析了概念隐喻在不同的新闻题材中的应用与影响.研究表明,新闻报道作为以简洁、客观、时代感强等为特点的特殊语篇,主要运用战争、容器、上下方位、身体等隐喻直接作用于人脑,影响人类的思维及语言使用.     

利用认知语言学理论研究政治性新闻语篇的批评性

本文重点从认知语言学中的范畴化和隐喻的研究角度出发来研究新闻语篇中语言与意识形态之间的关系,并通过不同的实例证明了范畴化和隐喻是进行新闻语篇政治性分析的行之有效的工具。

在不同的语域中,隐喻的种类和出现频率会有很大变化.在英语新闻报道中,概念隐喻主要体现为名物化和形容词化,后者的使用频率高于前者;在不同题材的新闻中,隐喻的使用有所不同.研究表明:隐喻的使用受语域三变量,即语场、语式和语旨的影响和制约,并体现新闻报道简洁、客观、正式和书面化的特点.在英语写作教学中,把握并运用隐喻使用的特点能有效地帮助学生提高写作技能,在遣词造句上体现新闻体特征.     

从认知角度看英汉经济语篇中的概念隐喻

经济新闻语篇中存在着大量的隐喻表达,这些语言层次的隐喻表达背后隐藏着系统的概念隐喻映射。这些概念隐喻植根于人们的身体经验和社会经验,人们依据熟悉的概念构建抽象概念。英汉经济语篇中主要的几种映射模式有健康隐喻、战争隐喻、婚姻隐喻。这些概念隐喻在英汉语篇中存在着概念映射层面和语言表达层面的差异,受不同社会文化背景的影响。     

经济新闻语篇中的隐喻及其功能

文章尝试以概念隐喻理论为分析工具,对经济新闻文本中的隐喻进行分析。首先从China Daily和Business Weekly的经济新闻语篇中选取定量隐喻样本,分析了旅途隐喻、战争隐喻、人类隐喻、机器隐喻、容器隐喻和竞赛隐喻等六类概念隐喻。然后,进一步分析了隐喻在经济新闻语篇中一些较为显著的功能,如信息功能、文化功能、命名功能和解释功能等;而且结合所选经济新闻语篇,对其进行了深入阐释。     

中美报纸政治新闻语篇中情态隐喻使用的对比研 究

以Halliday的隐喻理论为基础,采取定量和定性的研究方法,对中美报纸政治新闻语篇中情态隐喻使用的频率进行对比研究。结果显示：中关报纸政治新闻中情态隐喻使用的频率均不高,在对国内政治新闻的报道中。中美报纸使用显性主观和显性客观的情态隐喻频率基本相同,但是在对国外政治新闻的报道中。情态隐喻使用频率出现一定差异。针对这一现象,从情态隐喻的语用功能和政治新闻语言的特点及其写作策略等方面分析出现的原因。     

时政新闻中隐喻的语篇连贯功能认知阐释

从认知的角度研究隐喻,隐喻的语篇连贯功能主要体现在隐喻的系统性、连贯性和文化性三个方面。尽管时政新闻需要遵从一定的写作原则,但作为语言表达的一种方式,时政新闻也通过遍布其中的隐喻性表达实现了语篇连贯。对中英文时政新闻中隐喻的语篇连贯功能进行认知阐释,能从系统性、连贯性和文化性等方面更好地把握不同文化背景下的时政新闻语篇的意义与结构。     

英语教育新闻语篇中的语法隐喻分析

从系统功能语言学的角度来看,英语教育新闻语篇中有大量的语法隐喻现象存在。本文通过对英语教育新闻语篇中的语法隐喻现象分析,验证了语法隐喻理论在其领域的适用性,分析了语法隐喻的两大分类,概念语法隐喻和人际语法隐喻在英语教育新闻语篇中的分布情况,语言的实现方式和功能。     

中美政治新闻语篇中隐喻的语用功能对比研究

以隐喻的语用功能分类为基础,通过定量定性的方法对中美政治新闻语篇中隐喻的语用功能及其运作机制的异同点进行了对比研究。结果发现:中美政治新闻语篇中隐喻被普遍使用,但是隐喻使用的语用功能频率却不尽相同。美国政治语篇中较喜欢运用隐喻的外显功能,内隐功能明显少于中国政治语篇。两个国家政治语篇中隐喻使用的模糊功能基本一致。在隐喻语用功能的运作机制中,中美政治语篇中也出现了异同点,其中以外显功能的运作机制差异尤为明显。针对上述现象,研究结合隐喻的本质、中西方文化差异、政治的功能等因素进行了深入分析。     

功能文体学之语法隐喻与新闻英语功能文体

功能文体学理论基础是功能主义的语言观。语法隐喻是功能主义语言学的重要组成部分,是语篇文体特征的具体表现。语法隐喻在新闻语篇中的分布具有其自身的特点,体现了新闻英语不同于其它功能文体的特征。本文运用语法隐喻理论,从概念隐喻、人际隐喻及语篇隐喻三方面来分析新闻英语语篇的文体特征。
