Practices and experiences on bilingual teaching

The implementation of bilingual teaching is specialized course in one of the important teaching reforms and it is also the inevitable trend in cultivating talents with high quality. In the paper, several problems of currently restricting the method are pointed out in China and experiences on bilingual teaching of ＂fundamentals of water quality science＂ are summarized. The focus of this paper is on the request for bilingual teachers, textbook, teaching mode in class andteaching approach.     

How Information Communication Technology(ICT) can Support College Language Teachers in the Bilingual Context

While the increasing development of modern information technology, the globalization is becoming an obvious feature on educational situations. Therefore, mastering some necessary bilingual competencies will present essential meaning for educators. In the case of language teachers who teaching in the ethnically plural countries, for instance, China, the United States, language teachers have to face to various difficulties on the process of teaching in the bilingual class. Currently, the advanced technology is gradually being applied into language teaching, and then provides a series of advantages on improving the quality of language teaching. Firstly, the essay will analyse the barriers which exist in the language class, which in the level of Chinese university. Secondly, it will systematically describe how ICT can help language teachers to solve difficulties on teaching and display diverse innovative technological tools of language teaching.     

黔南民族地区民族中学校本教研现状的检视与思考

校本教研是提高民族贫困地区民族中学教师专业素养的重要途径,是解决民族贫困地区民族中学教育研究领域长期存在的理论与实践相脱离问题的一种有效尝试。研究表明：目前民族地区民族中学校本教研现状令人担忧,存在着诸如教研动机不强、研究主体缺位、研究意识淡薄、功利性明显、形式主义泛滥等问题。这就要求我们要强化＂教研强校＂的观念,积极开展调查研究,调动教师教研内需,促使校本教研主体回归,强化教研过程管理,切实保障校本教研落到实处。

Abstract：

School-based teaching research is an important approach to improving professional quality of ethnic middle school teachers in ethnic poverty-stricken areas.It is also an effective way to solve the problem of disintegration between theory and practice in studies on ethnic middle school education in those areas.This study shows that the current situation of school-based teaching research in ethnic middle school of ethnic regions is not satisfactory.There exist many problems such as lacking motive,main body and consciousness but having strong utilitarianism and overflowing formalism in teaching research.Therefore,we should intensify the idea of＂running school through teaching research＂,vigorously carry out action research,boost teachers’ internal need for teaching research,promote the return of subject of teaching research,enhance management of teaching research process,and safeguard the implementation of school-based teaching research.     

关于少数民族地区师资均衡配置的理论构想

实现少数民族地区师资队伍的均衡配置是民族教育均衡发展的客观要求和根本保障。从当前民族地区师资队伍结构的现状分析来看,无论在数量上,还是在质量上都存在着较为严重的失衡状态。本文尝试从少数民族地区师资均衡配置的政策建构、建立民族地区教师特殊津贴制度、建立适应少数民族地区需求的教师培训机制等方面,提出有助于民族地区师资均衡配置的理论构想。

Abstract：

A balanced allocation of teachers in ethnic minority regions is the demand of and guarantee for balanced development of ethnic education.An analysis of the current teaching body structure in ethnic regions shows that there is a serious imbalance in terms of both quantity and quality of teachers.This paper attempts to put forward theoretical ideas to help realize balanced allocation of teachers in ethnic regions from aspects of making policies,setting up a special subsidy system for teachers in ethnic regions and building a teachers＇ training system to meet the needs of ethnic regions.     

应重视少数民族学生演唱心理素质的培养

声乐教学中学生歌唱心理素质的培养是提高教学质量的重要手段,良好的演唱心理素质训练更是教学成败的关键。教师在教学中应合理地采用不同的手段和方法提高学生的演唱心理素质,从而达到提高教学效率和教学质量的目的。

Abstract：

In vocal music teaching,cultivating students’ psychological quality in vocal music performance is an important part of teaching quality improvement.Training healthy psychological quality in vocal music performance is the key to successful teaching.Teachers should adopt different methods to improve students’psychological quality in singing so as to raise efficiency and quality of teaching.     

Analysis on the Strategies for the Autonomous Development of English Teachers in High Schools

The professional development of English teachers in high schools is not only a hot focus of teachers’ education, but also an important turning point in the students’ English learning. English teachers are constantly improving their own personal quality and teaching effect under their autonomous development model and goal. It is necessary for English teachers in high schools to rethink and change their own teaching methods, transform the educational ideas, and make educational methods innovative. Meanwhile, they are required to continuously improve their own teaching practice ability. Thus, development and innovation can be unceasingly sought by them in the process of thinking, criticizing, and denying. In addition, the autonomous factors restricting the continuous professional development must be changed. In this paper, the strategies for the autonomous development of English teachers in high schools are discussed according to the requirements for the professional development so as to produce profound significance to the sustainable development of the teachers.     

An Analysis on Teacher-student Role Changing in Interactive Teaching Mode

Teachers and students play important roles in teaching activity,and they are the most essential parts of the system.The relationship between teachers and students,the core schooling interpersonal relationship,directly determines whether the teach ing activities can go smoothly or not,and is an important index to measure the quality of teachers and students’school life,and also is an important factor that affects the social function of education.For a long time,relationship between teachers and students has been a hot topic in education and in different sectors of the society.This dissertation aims at discussing the teacher-student role changing in interactive teaching mode to provide reference for building a harmonious relationship between teachers and stu dents.     

An Analysis of Teacher Talk in College English Classroom

As an indispensable part of college English class,teacher talk has a great influence on the effect of the language teaching.By analyzing teacher talk from four aspects of dominance of teacher talk,teacher’s questions,teacher’s directives and code-switching,a conclusion is drawn:teachers should employ teacher talk appropriately in college English class in order to improve the quality of language teaching.     

Communicative Approach and Educational Success

Some problems are found about bilingual teaching in the local universities and colleges through the research.This paper intends to solve the problems by analyzing the findings from the investigations done among the bilingual teachers and students,who are now involved in bilingual teaching.And it also proposes a practical bilingual teaching model especially for universities and colleges.This will determine the quality of practicing bilingual teaching and will improve its efficiency.
