语文能力概念辨析

语文教学以培养学生语文能力为主线,将各项能力的培养贯穿在整个教学过程中。明确语文能力的概念,是实现语文教学科学化的第一步。语文能力内涵是个体与他人进行交际的过程中,能够准确地、创造性地运用祖国语言文字,能对自己的言语实践活动（听、说、读、写）直接起稳定的调节作用的个性心理特征。而在听说读写活动中表现出来的能力只是语文能力的外延之一,不能把语文能力仅仅概括为听说读写。只有明确了语文能力的概念,才能进一步了解语文教学及学习规律,从而制定出科学的培养计划。     

小学生书写水平与考试粗心现象的相关分析

考试粗心现象是指在对相应的知识和技能构成掌握的前提下,学生在考试中出现遗漏与错误的心理现象;小学生考试粗心现象的发生存在学科差异与年龄差异,与学生的书写水平的阳性得分呈中等程度正相关;小学生考试粗心现象的形成与后天学习过程中养成的不良学习习惯有关,学习习惯不良引起的考试过程中心理能量的不合理分配,进而抑制了考试过程中的阅读感知与思维加工,造成疏忽与遗漏.书写规范训练可能有助于克服考试粗心现象.     

Relative Effects of English Proficiency on General Admissions Tests Versus Subject Tests

The increasing linguistic diversity of the United States student population has brought to the forefront problems in the interpretation of test scores for non-native speakers of English in graduate admissions. The degree to which test scores reflect English proficiency was studied using data on N = 451 students whose native language was Spanish. They had taken the GRE, English proficiency tests, and the PAEG, a test in Spanish used for admission to graduate schools in Puerto Rico. Regression analyses revealed that the proportion of variance explained by the English proficiency terms (independent of developed skills measured in Spanish) was highest for the GRE verbal test (34%), lowest for the quantitative test (8%) and intermediate for the analytical test (16%), the Psychology (18%) and Biology (17%) Subject tests. These findings are discussed in light of efforts to increase access to higher education for Hispanic students.

Applying Partial Credit Analysis to the Construction of Narrative Writing Tests

This article describes work in progress aimed at applying partial credit analysis to the construction of a set of narrative writing tasks for use with children in their 3rd to 10th years of school. Each student's written story is rated on each of eight scales (e.g., Setting, Dialogue Use, Coherence and Story Structure). These eight scales are treated as eight items in the analysis. Results show how the analysis can be used to identify aspects of writing that function differently from others and so should not be included in a global measure of writing proficiency. By using the calibrated writing scales to mark out a continuum of developing proficiency, global measures of students' narrative writing ability can be interpreted in terms of the most probable characteristics of each student's writing.

试论二语写作反馈对二语词汇运用能力发展的影响

可理解输入假设强调输入的内容和形式必须是学习者注意到的,注意在增加语言的吸收效率上作用显著;可理解输出假设也强调注意功能在提高学习者语言运用能力方面的重要性。学习者写作是其主要的输出活动,学习者在写作中所犯错误能反映出在输入和输出过程中存在的问题,即缺乏对语言形式的注意。写作反馈的必要性主要体现在激发学习者的注意功能,从而对二语词汇运用能力产生积极的影响。但在反馈中要注意错误的层次、语块和扩展性语言的引入以及促进学习者的相互学习。     

National Assessment of Writing Proficiency Among Norwegian Students in Compulsory Schools

The paper reports and discusses a government‐initiated nationwide assessment of writing proficiency among Norwegian compulsory school students. A sample‐study of 7th and 10th grade students are discussed and reported with regard to challenges in measuring writing skills in a valid and reliable manner. For the 7th graders the results showed a greater proportion of narrative texts, and in contrast to more scientific oriented texts, was assessed as “lower than expected”; however, for the 10th graders the tendency was opposite with respect to central linguistic components. Low correlations between the raters were ascertained at both levels, indicating different views among teachers as to what can be expected of students' writing proficiency. The results are discussed in relation to the usefulness of the theoretical model as a basis for assessment of writing proficiency, as well as other obstacles to constructing valid and reliable writing tests.
