研究了社会选择中的不可能性定理．首先定义社会选择函数,给出理性社会选择函数的形式化描述,并定义选择函数形式的Pareto准则、无关方案独立性条件和非独裁性条件．在此基础上,探讨了选择函数据架下的不可能性定理,得到了选择函数形式的Arrow不可能性定理和Sen寡头独裁不可能性定理.     

Determinants of school choice: understanding how parents choose elementary schools in Alberta

Rational choice theory suggests that parents are utility maximizers who make decisions from clear value preferences, that they are able to demand effective action from local schools and teachers, and that they can be relied upon to pursue the best interests of their children. This paper presents a different perspective and argues that parents invest a mixture of rationalities when selecting schools. Based on the results of a survey of 1,500 parents of students in 11 private, eight public and 10 alternative elementary schools in Alberta, Canada, this paper explores the logic, values, and concerns that inform parental decision making in the selection of an elementary school for their children and discusses implication for policy and educational reform.     

Are the needs of children and young people with social,emotional and behavioural needs being served within a multi‐agency framework?

This article discusses the effect that recent policy and legislation has had on services for children and young people with social, emotional and behavioural needs (SEBN), particularly ‘Looked After Children.’ The article highlights the Government's overarching plan to promote social inclusion and effective multi‐agency collaboration and discusses the confusions arising from the use of ‘multi‐agency’ terminology. Two case studies of individual children then illustrate the manner in which collaborative working is either supportive of, or hinders, positive intervention. Finally the article discusses how general policy issues impact on practice with children with SEBN.

建构主义学习理论与高校体育教学改革的研究

建构主义是20世纪90年代以来兴起于西方国家的一种社会科学理论,它是学习理论中行为主义发展到认知主义后的进一步发展,被称为"当代教育心理学中的一场革命"。本文力图在建构主义理论的思想指导下,结合当前我国高校体育教学的实际情况,对我国高校体育改革进行研究与探讨,这对推进我国高校体育改革必将产生重大的影响。     

Searching for Dumbledore: A reflection upon the outcomes of a tailored emotional literacy programme on three key stage 2 children

Some children may only be able to express feelings of anxiety, frustration, stress or sadness through angry behaviours, which may prove challenging for schools (Barnes et al., 2016; Shechtman and Tutian, 2016). This is problematic when considered in relation to research evidence highlighting the negative impact such behaviours may have upon social relationships and academic outcomes (Sloan et al., 2017). The aims of this study were to explore whether a tailored emotional literacy programme can be used effectively to extend children's emotional lexicon and strategies for the self‐management of behaviours. Three children with social‐emotional difficulties were taught in twelve weekly sessions. The findings from this study suggests the positive benefits of using a programme tailored to meet a child's specific needs (rather than a programme without any adaptations), which may be an effectual tool in supporting children to change established patterns of negative behaviours.

生态文明建设主体因素分析——基于公共选择视角

公共选择理论使用分析经济活动的方法来分析政治过程为分析生态文明建设主体因素提供了新的视角。政府、企业、个人是生态文明的建设中最主要三个主体。文章以公共选择理论相关观点为理论支柱,认为在生态文明建设中,政府应充分发挥其主导作用,完善政府生态职能,避免"政府失灵";企业应提高生态文明意识,落实文明生态责任,履行生态文明义务;公众应提高主人翁意识,积极参与生态文明建设,避免"搭便车"行为。

接受理论与大学英语的教与学

文学接受理论反对以作家、作品为研究中心,将受众的接受作为研究中心,从而开创了文学理论的新天地,而文学理论中的这个受众因素也是大学英语教学中的"受众"因素,因此接受理论的基本原则同样适用于阐释包括大学英语在内的外语教学过程。本文认同近年大学英语教学与研究领域对于接受理论的接纳和运用,指出在教与学活动中,应当允许两个中心存在,但这两个中心的相互关系是一种动态的、而非一成不变的静态关系。处理好了这些关系之后,再找出特定教学阶段所可能遇到的主要问题或矛盾,并采用正确策略予以解决,这样才能最终达到教与学水平的目的。

Cognitive Behaviour Therapies and their implications for applied educational psychology practice

This paper critically considers the growing interest in the use of Cognitive Behaviour Therapies to support children and young people presenting with a wide range of social‐emotional difficulties. This focus has emerged since the prevalence of such difficulties in children and young people has increased over the past four decades, and the application of such approaches is no longer seen as being the sole preserve of specialist Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services (CAMHS), counsellors or therapists. To develop a critical understanding of the principles and core components of Cognitive Behaviour Therapies, two prominent approaches are reviewed. These are Ellis’s Rational‐Emotive Behaviour Therapy (REBT), and Beck’s Cognitive Therapy (CT). The paper concludes with a discussion of some of the ways in which Educational Pychologists can directly and/or indirectly support the delivery of Cognitive Behaviour Therapies in their work.     

Response groups as learning resources when working with portfolios

This article, based on the guidance of 17 teacher education students during their final term, presents the theoretical framework, procedures and results of an extensive experiment with portfolio assessment combined with peer tutoring. A recent reform programme in higher education in Norway has as one of its aims to improve the quality of teaching and better facilitate learning in universities and university colleges. One important aspect of the reform programme is to encourage greater diversity in student assessment, and to establish a closer link between the learning process and the methods of examination. Following up on those intentions, the students are encouraged to work more systematically on written texts as a strategy for learning, accompanied by responses to their drafts offered by the course tutors. The idea of portfolio assessment is central in the reform programme, as also is the concept of reflection. During a term 17 student teachers worked regularly in peer groups giving responses to each other's drafts, which also included separate reflection papers related to their work in the response groups. This way of working seems to have had a positive impact on their learning both as students and as a basis for their further development as professional teachers.

A case study on teaching and learning DNA

The purpose of this paper was to study the learning of DNA （deoxyribonucleic acid） by disadvantaged high school students in a Thai welfare school. Three DNA units of the genetics instructional units （GIUs） based on a social constructivist approach were implemented to 14 disadvantaged school students at Grade 12 in Bangkok. The data were collected from classroom observation, interviews, students＇ works, basic genetics concepts survey and advanced genetics concepts survey. It was found that before the implementation of the GIUs, the majority of students had ＂no conceptions＂ about gene, chromosome and DNA including their relationships. During the implementation of the GIUs, the teacher induced students into the lessons, checked students＇ prior knowledge, used practical-inexpensive-durable instructional materials, promoted social interactions through a variety of teaching strategies, periodically used dynamic assessments and assigned students into groups where they were able to communicate with others. After the implementation, the majority of students showed having ＂scientific conceptions＂ in the chemical components of DNA and ＂partial understanding＂ of the DNA structure and relationships among cell-nucleus-chromosome-DNA-gene concepts.
