Integrating Preparation for Parenting Into Childbirth Education: Part II-A Study

This study was designed to test the effectiveness of using a broad conceptualization of childbirth education that includes parenting preparation in pregnancy. The goal is to assist in breaking cycles of dysfunction in families. At the core of this expanded model of childbirth education is the concept of prevention. The intervention described in Part I in the Journal of Perinatal Education 7(4), 26-33 provided parents with information and coping mechanisms by drawing parallels to traditionally learned coping skills for childbirth with techniques needed to cope in post-partum. This approach also encouraged prenatal parents to learn techniques for promoting attachment to their children before birth. The curriculum was tested by randomizing 48 couples to the expanded or traditional model of childbirth education. A pre- and post-Prenatal Parenting Scale was administered to both groups. Only the experimental group demonstrated improvement at the post-class administration.

通过对张家界市城市社区教育资源和居民终身学习需求的调查,梳理了张家界城区现有的社区教育资源状况,发现张家界市目前社区教育资源远远不能满足社区居民的学习需求,并对如何合理整合、拓展有限的社区教育资源,构建张家界社区终身学习中心提出了建议。

采用面向对象的可视化编程语言DELPHI6．O开发前台应用程序，并以Oracle7作为后台数据库的一个酒店住宿管理系统．章详细叙述了该系统的结构设计、功能设计与实现方法及系统的应用前景．     

基于云计算的华文教育资源平台设计

网络上华文教育资源的存储和管理都是比较松散的,不能集中的为潜在的华文教育资源需求者提供便捷强大的服务。为了克服互联网上的华文教学资源传统管理模式的弊端,提出了基于云计算的智能华文教育资源平台,并给出了平台的设计。华文教育资源云平台可以给华文教育机构、服务提供者、学习者一个紧密联系和协作的环境,提供给各方一个更优化的服务和调度。     

健康老龄化背景下医养教结合发展研究

随着我国老龄化程度的持续加深,健康老龄化社会的建设势在必行。医养教结合模式是老年人获得足够医疗支持与心理满足的专业化服务模式。目前,医养教结合发展面临受众基础大、需求多层化、服务精细化与高效化的新诉求。同时,存在服务体系不完善,管理机构数量少、功能独立,服务资源质量不高,信息管理不及时等问题。基于此,健康老龄化背景下的医养教结合模式要加强国家的顶层设计,科学统筹相关优势资源,培养专业化的服务人员,建立信息数据库,充分利用社区资源等,促进社会文明的发展。     

发挥电大优势为社区教育提供社会化服务

社区教育是终身教育的一部分。在我国构筑终身教育体系，创建学习化社会，应立足于社区。电大以自己的系统优势、设施优势和教育资源优势为社区教育提供全方位的支持服务，完全有能力参与和推动社区教育。在实现教育的大众化普及化，促进全民终身学习的同时电大又可以得到自身的发展。     

Implementing community-based comprehensive sexuality education with high-risk youth in a conservative environment: lessons learned

Although comprehensive sexuality education programmes have the potential to improve the sexual health and well-being of young people, many socially conservative rural states in the USA have laws and policies restricting school-based comprehensive sexuality education and supporting abstinence-only education. This paper describes the process of building a community-university partnership to implement a community-based comprehensive sexuality education peer education programme for high-risk young people and presents preliminary findings from a longitudinal evaluation. Through purposive recruitment, the sample included 386 young people (mean age) who were more diverse than the local community. Important university-community partnership components included (1) establishing local connections and legitimacy, (2) adapting and tailoring programmes to meet community context, (3) sustainability planning, and (4) flexibility, persistence, and patience. Building community trust and capitalising on the mutual benefits of community-university partnerships are effective methods of building community sexuality education programming in a conservative environment. Tailoring evidence-based approaches to comprehensive sexuality education in a politically restrictive environment shows promise in improving the sexual and reproductive health of young people.     

组建社区教育学院构建终身教育体系促进社区和谐发展

社区教育是不同于普通学校教育和成人教育的新的教育形式,社区教育学院是由当地政府举办的,集公益性、综合性、社区性于一体的多功能的区域性教育培训中心,在促进社区建设和发展,在构建国民终身教育体系中具有不可替代的作用。组建社区教育学院,实施终身教育,以促进社区的和谐发展意义重大。     

社区卫生服务中心慢性病防治模式的探讨

为了探索慢性病防治模式,通过向居民及慢性病患者提供以健康教育、慢性病筛查和慢性病系统管理为主要内容的社区卫生服务,观察慢性病防治状况,结果显示:明显改变了居民不良生活方式,提高了慢性病控制率,同时降低了医疗费用的支出。因此,认为开展社区卫生服务,建立慢性病防治模式,是改变现有慢性病防治工作滞后的有效途径。     

发挥高校图书馆在文科实验教学中心建设中的作用

高校图书馆是学校的文献信息中心,是为教学和科学研究服务的学术性机构,是高校办学的三大支撑条件之一,在高校人才培养的使命中担任着重要的角色。图书馆应根据学校的发展目标和教学、科学研究的需要,体现图书馆的性质、地位和作用,履行图书馆教育与服务职能。以应用文科综合实验教学示范中心建设为契机,从课程建设、实践活动方面,深入探讨如何发挥高校图书馆信息素质教育优势、独特资源和服务优势,为教学和人才培养提供强有力的支持。     

电大服务社区教育发展的有效途径

参与社区教育是电大教育发展的重要走向,将会为电大教育赢得更多的发展机会和更大的发展空间。近年来,电大利用自身优势,在参与社区教育方面进行了探索和实践,取得了初步的经验。在目前全社会高度关注学习型社会构建和社区教育建设的新形势下,电大必须抢占先机,努力探索服务社区教育发展的有效途径。

对农村成人教育中心向农村社区教育中心转变的思考——基于常州金坛市农村成人教育的调研

常州金坛市各乡镇积极推进、深化社区教育和终身教育的改革,初步形成了一些成人教育、社区教育的特色乡镇。薛埠、指前、儒林三个乡镇对成人教育工作十分重视,成人教育工作得到了不同程度的发展,形成了各自的特色,积累了一些宝贵的经验。但是,在成人教育中心向社区教育中心转变的过程中还存在很多问题需要解决,为此,在开展农村社区教育时必须正确定位,统筹规划;整合资源,理顺关系;建立一支稳定的专职教师队伍;充分发挥教育督导的作用;加强社区教育特色项目的建设。     

Community-based field experiences in teacher education: possibilities for a pedagogical third space

The present article discusses the importance of community-based field experiences as a feature of teacher education programs. Through a qualitative case study, prospective teachers’ work with homeless youth in an after-school initiative is presented. Framing community-based field experiences in teacher education through “third space” theory, the article discusses the value that such experiences have for prospective teachers’ learning. The goals of the article align with the commitment to preparing a future teaching force for the diverse educational settings that they will encounter in the twenty-first century.     

Designing and Implementing a European Integrated Training Programme: a Model for Integrated Training in Europe

In June 1990 a conference took place in the Politecnico di Torinowhich was organised by the politecnico, the Brighton Polytechnic, and the Associazione per la Scuola per Esperti delta Produzione with the sponsorship of the British Council. The aim of the conference was to discuss the results obtained after a full four years’ of activity of the school and the graduation of the first group of students. We have created the school with the purpose of facilitating the exchange of students between different countries looking ahead for Europe after 1992. The project has the aim to consider the Common Market and a unified Europe in the frame of each national culture and traditions and to give to the students an international approach to the problems. In addition, we would like to underline that the school leads to the joint awards of BSc(Hons) European Business with Technology and Diploma di Esperto della Produzione Industriale.     

Citizenship,civic education and politics: the education policy context for young Australian citizens

Citizenship education in Australia is embedded throughout the school curriculum. Despite a coherent policy context for the inclusion of citizenship and civic education at all levels of schooling, the links between education and civic minded citizens are tenuous. This paper explores these connections by drawing on the views of participants in an international community service program between Western Australia and Tanzania. By situating the interview data in relation to the policy goals, the paper argues that the current policy framework ‘sanitises’ the political nature of modern citizenship. The results from this study demonstrate that students have little understanding of the connections between the civic, the social and the political realms of citizenship. These results suggest that the current policy context does not adequately prepare young people to position themselves in the political realm.
