课堂教学的有效性是课堂教学追求的永恒主题。通过一次教研活动,从对教材的处理、教学方法与教学手段的优化等方面,对课堂教学有效性提出自己的观点。     

构建文言对话 让课堂充满生机

在文言文教学中教师要重新定位自己的角色,做与学生平等的对话者,做课堂阅读活动的组织者,做学生阅读的促进者。努力创设情境,消除对话的情感障碍;巧妙设计问题,激发学生对话的欲望;积极引导学生,使其主动参与文言对话教学;重视文言文对话教学中的诵读和背诵;尊重和鼓励学生有个性化的解读。对话应富有实效,文言课堂才能充满生机。     

Creating Scientific Concepts

This article presents and discusses outcomes arising from a recently completed National Primary Science Survey (England) intended, in part, to elicit how teachers and others perceive the effectiveness of colleagues and the schools in which they work to implement and deliver primary science within the National Curriculum. While the majority view among respondents was found to be generally positive and encouraging, particularly so in terms of school ethos and regard for science as a curriculum area, certain personal or ‘intrinsic’ and environmental or ‘extrinsic’ elements were nevertheless identified as more inhibiting than others and for certain subgroups within the sample of participants itself. The majority of findings reported here were obtained using a seven-scale, 49-item diagnostic research instrument originally developed for use in New Zealand and subsequently transported to other locations around the world. In its first fully documented use within the UK, the validity, reliability and potential of this instrument to provide teachers and others with a means of evaluating science education provision together with providing an evidence-base for professional dialogue, strategic planning and decision-making for overall school improvement are considered.

青少年科学素养概念探析

科学素养是国际科学教育的重要内容,提升青少年科学素养业已成为我国基础教育科学课程的基本目标.对青少年科学素养进行监测和评估是我国科学教育界面临的紧迫任务,而正确界定"青少年科学素养"是研发监测与评估工具的前提和基础.然而迄今为止,针对这一概念尚未形成统一的定义.在系统梳理国外学者的重要观点,比较分析PISA、TIMSS、NAEP等学生评价项目以及各国科学课程标准对科学素养内涵的表述基础之上,进一步充实了"青少年科学素养"的内涵,以期为后续研究提供理论参考.     

Understanding the Dialectical Relations Between Everyday Concepts and Scientific Concepts Within Play-Based Programs

In recent times there has been an enormous interest in Vygotsky’s writing on conceptual development, particularly his insights on the differences between everyday and scientific thinking. In drawing upon cultural–historical theory, this paper seeks to examine the relations between everyday concepts and scientific concepts within playful contexts, such as preschools, with a view to better understanding how very young children develop conceptual understandings in science. This paper presents an overview of a study which sought to map the transformation and appropriation of scientific concepts within two early childhood settings. Approximately ten weeks of data gathering took place, with video recordings, field notes, photographic documentation, and child and teacher interviews for recording child concept formation within these naturalistic settings. The findings indicate that when teacher programs are more oriented towards concepts rather than materials, children’s play is focused on conceptual connections. Importantly, the study showed that: It was possible to map the multiple and dynamic levels or stratas of thinking that a child or group of children may exhibit within play-based contexts; An analysis of ‘unorganised heaps’ and ‘complexive thinking’ evident in conceptually or materially oriented play-based programs can be determined; the dialectical relations between everyday concepts and scientific concepts in play-based programs can be understood; and greater understanding about the nature of concept formation in situated playful contexts have been possible.
