色盲人群作为远程学习者的一个群体的色彩需求往往被媒体界面设计者所忽视.本文从调查色盲人群在媒体界面设计方面的色彩需求入手,分析满足需求的策略和方法,提出了远程教育中满足该类人群的媒体界面设计原则,并以系统方法为指导,提出了面向色盲人群的界面设计的流程:需求分析报告、概念模型设计和详细界面设计三个阶段.作者希望本研究用于远程教育过程中的媒体界面设计,为色盲人群远程学习提供公平的学习机会.  相似文献

认知负荷是影响学习效率和效果的重要因素,E-learning环境的设计会对学习过程中的认知负荷水平产生影响.导致E-learning环境中认知超载的原因,主要集中在界面设计和内容设计两个方面.在界面设计上,复杂的导航设计容易引起学习者"迷航",色彩风格的不统一会造成学习者对学习的焦虑和不适;在内容设计上,大量的学习资源可能会消耗学习者有限的注意力,过量的冗余信息会分散学习者的注意力.为减少认知负荷,促进学习者的信息存储、提取和加工,在界面设计时,应注意做到导航设计清晰明确、交互界面设计符合视觉心理学标准;在内容设计时,信息表征要注意多样化,并添加标注说明,信息切割要恰当,信息加工设计要提供各种认知工具、学习指南和监控、交流合作空间,并为初学者提供样例.  相似文献

This article describes practical issues related to the design and the development of a Web-Based Learning Environment (Web-LE) for high school students. The purpose of the Fossilization Web-LE was to help students understand the process of fossilization, which is a complex phenomenon and is affected by many factors. The instructional design team faced the challenge of designing an environment that could enable its users to construct knowledge actively by manipulating the various variables of organisms, ecological systems, and physical burials. An effective user interface is essential to the enabling of students who try to explore knowledge presented in the learning environment and who, in monitoring their own learning progress, hope to avoid overwhelmingly complicated content. The analyses of both the interaction of learning activities and the design of system functions are discussed. In addition, a usability test was conducted so that the effectiveness of the interface design could be examined. The findings reveal that target users are satisfied with the usability of the Fossilization Web-LE and consider use of the user interface to be easy. At the end, several practical applications in the design of instructional software’s user interface are suggested.  相似文献

Recent technological advances now make possible the full integration of sound in instructional software. Sounds may gain and focus learner attention, reduce distracting stimuli, and make learning more engaging. In addition, they may help learners condense, elaborate on, and organize details, highlighting inter connections among new pieces of information and making connections to preexisting knowledge. Thus, sound may hold great promise for moderating acquisition, processing, and retrieval “noise” in instructional software. Unfortunately, interface and instructional design guides almost completely ignore sound, and research suggests many promising instructional uses remain largely unexplored. This paper explores information-processing and communication theoretical foundations for sound's systematic use in the instructional communication system and proposes a framework for a program of research on instructional software's use of sound. The purpose of this study was to examine the effects of a metaphorical interface on germane cognitive load in Web-based instruction. Based on cognitive load theory, germane cognitive load is a cognitive investment for schema construction and automation. A new instrument developed in a previous study was used to measure students?? mental activities of schema construction and automation supported by structural cues in a metaphorical interface environment. Eighty participants were randomly assigned to one of two types of instructional units with the same instructional content and different interface types (i.e., non-metaphorical interface and metaphorical interface). The results indicated that germane cognitive load positively affected learning performance while there was no relationship between germane cognitive load and students?? prior knowledge. A metaphorical interface enhanced learners?? germane cognitive load and learning performance, and both germane cognitive load and prior knowledge similarly contributed to learning performance. The findings provide implications for the advancement of cognitive load theory and the practice of instructional development.  相似文献

This paper reviews the psychological and motor performance modeling literature to identify important factors involved in and affecting the modeling process as it relates to motor skill acquisition. Topics discussed include modeling theory, task specificity of modeling effects, the importance of symbolic coding, temporal spacing of demonstrations, social factors influencing modeling, and the role of modeling in reducing anxiety when unfamiliar motor activities are learned. Future research directions are discussed and implications for physical educators and coaches who employ modeling as an instructional technique are outlined.  相似文献
