从翻译研究的主体浅析中国古代两次翻译高潮的相似性

翻译的主体性是翻译研究的热门话题和理论界关注的重点之一。翻译主体研究是一个包括作者、译者和读者甚至还包括出版者等在内的主体系统。它不仅体现在译者主体与作者主体的关系上,而且体现在译者主体与读者主体的关系上。中国历史上东汉末年至隋唐的佛经翻译以及明末清初的科技翻译之所以出现了两个翻译高潮,在翻译的主体性关系中有很多相似之处。本文将从翻译研究的主体性出发,着重分析当时各翻译主体间的深层关系。     

翻译教学中的合理翻译差异观

翻译差异是语言、文化、意识形态及主体等多种因素作用的结果。语言学特别是结构主义语言学翻译范式强调意义的确定性，忽视译者的主体性，因而排斥翻译差异。解构主义翻译范式强调意义的不确定性和主体性，无限度地张扬翻译差异。基于哈贝马斯的交往行为理论，在翻译教学中应反对无限张扬翻译差异，主张翻译差异的合理性存在。
