Entrepreneurship education in Malaysian universities

Entrepreneurship education in the strongly emerging market of Malaysia was examined throughout the country’s 20 public universities. A broad based interview process amongst multiple stakeholders profiled educational policies as well as revealing shortcomings in practice. Observers noted that students showed a preference for salaried jobs after graduation rather than setting up their own businesses, despite participation in entrepreneurship classes and programmes. Policymakers indicated that curricula had deficiencies despite their hype. Passive lectures were far more common than more interactive methods. It is suggested that if Malaysian universities are to promote entrepreneurship education in an effective way, they must address these issues.

台湾的大学生创业教育由于台湾和福建同根同源,历史上渊源关系密切,拥有共同的文化传承,它的成功经验或失败教训相比欧美国家的实践具有更强的针对性和借鉴性,因此本文从台湾创业教育的定位、形式、扶持体系以及实践平台等多方面探讨了其对福建的启示。     

Entrepreneurship education: Enhancing or discouraging graduate start-up at the University of Pretoria

In-depth interviews were conducted with a sample of BCom Entrepreneurship graduates, as well as a control group to determine whether the exposure to entrepreneurship education can enhance actual business start-up. Information was collected on how they experienced the learning approaches, and the value which they had derived from the degree. This was done as a case study at the University of Pretoria. More entrepreneurship graduates started businesses than the control group. Findings of the various constraints to start-up ? of the entrepreneurship graduates’ group ? focused on the lack of a viable business idea and know-how, as compared with the other graduate groups, who indicated that fear of failure and aversion to taking risks were their main constraints. The entrepreneurship graduates were less risk averse than the control group.     

校政合作背景下高职辅导员的创业教育角色定位

校政合作背景下,高职辅导员在参与创业指导过程中,面临创业知识的匮乏性、创业实践的缺失性和指导时间的间断性等不足。因此,高职辅导员要不断加强自身创业指导能力,努力将角色定位为创业知识的学习者、教育方案的参与者、团队组建的指导者、创业计划的把关者和全程培养的领路者。     

高职院校创业教育暨创办大学生创业基地探究

在新的经济环境下,就创业教育和大学生创业活动最现实的社会经济原因而论,如何为高等教育大众化所面临的大学生的就业问题解压,是其最直接的动因之一。目前,职业院校的大学生由被动就业,转变为能动就业,乃至创业,带动就业,这成为高职教育工作者最富具挑战性的历史使命。各高职院校也正在尝试推进创业教育暨创办大学生创业基地的教育教学工作,但有些共性的瓶颈问题,比如：创业教育师资匮乏、创业基地组织构建的准确定位、传统受教方式与创业教育组织要求之间的矛盾等,急需冷静分析,认真应对,才能达成培养学生创业精神和实践能力的最终目标。     

Entrepreneurship education: motivation and effort for pupils with special needs in Norwegian compulsory school*

Pupil enterprises are a widespread type of entrepreneurship education. In this working method, pupils start up, manage and close a business over short period of time. National and international policy documents claim that practical working methods through the use of pupil enterprises are beneficial to increase motivation by being a realistic and cross-curricular approach. This paper investigates whether this is the case for pupils who receive special education. No previous research has focused on the situation for this group of pupils when working with pupil enterprises. The data are collected from a survey with the participation of 1880 pupils in the 10th grade. Our econometric results indicate that participation in pupil enterprises has no particular impact on motivation or effort for pupils receiving special needs education. Even though there are many positive features with pupil enterprises and they offer a practical and realistic way of learning, we do not find evidence to support that pupil enterprises also have a positive effect on the general school motivation and effort. Thus, the political claim of the practical dimension as a solution to increase motivation for learning in school is not supported by our findings.

MIT创业模式:高校创业转型的催化剂

随着知识经济时代的到来,创业成为一个全球性的话题日益受到重视。高校作为培植创业精神与创业动力的重要场所,在全球创业浪潮中占据十分重要的地位。美国麻省理工学院MIT创业模式一直是各国大学创业活动的典范,作为MIT创业活动的主导者和推动者——创业中心,通过"教育与研究、联盟、社区、激励系统"的动力相互强化整合,以及MIT浓厚的创业文化的强大动力支撑,推动MIT创业教育和创业活动的不断发展。目前我国高校创业教育还处在转型起步阶段,存在机制缺陷、体系不完善、理念亟需更新等突出问题,必须在构建良好的创业环境,加强高校的创业理念教育,提升高校的创业能力等方面寻求突破口。     

高校创业教育的现状、问题及对策

目前国内高校毕业生对创业的积极性正逐步提高,对高校的创业教育也有较为旺盛的需求。但国内高校开展创业教育存在诸多问题。社会和高校应该进一步认识到创业教育的重要性,将创业教育作为重要的教育内容和目标。同时,高校应优化课程结构,加强大学生创业实践环节,并加强与企业界的联系与合作,以此提高大学生创业的成功率。     

创业培训体系下高职生创业能力培养研究

"大众创业,万众创新"是新时期推动学校创新创业工作的风向标,指导并引领高职院校重视培养高职生的创新创业能力。笔者结合所在学校学生创业能力的现状及创业培训开展的情况,分析在创业培训体系下高职生创业能力培养的具体措施,聚焦高职生创新精神、创业意识及创业能力的培养研究,为推动学校创新创业工作的发展提供参考意见。
