ABSTRACT

Australian universities are operating in a complex, dynamic and competitive global market. Increasingly university administrations are seeking the competitive edge over rival institutions. In order to support their institution’s strategic agenda and maintain their relevance to their institution, libraries will need staff who are highly skilled and able to adapt to the rapidly changing digital world. At Deakin University Library, senior librarians understand the imperative of developing liaison librarians’ capabilities in order to meet the information needs of teaching and research academics. A scaffolded training program (the Program) was developed and a Training Needs Analysis was administered prior and post training programs to determine training priorities. Exploring the Program through the lens of self-determination theory provided an opportunity to critique the Program at a deeper level and situate the Program within a broader context of emerging skill and knowledge capabilities required by all who undertake knowledge-intensive work.  相似文献

Organizational School Psychology (OSP) can be viewed as an approach to professional practice in which a school psychologist seeks to facilitate planned organization change in public schools. For OSP to become a useful aspect of practice, however, school psychologists must be provided with appropriate education and training experiences. This paper presents information about education and training in OSP, based upon the authors' experiences in research and practice of OSP, as well as their preparation of school psychologists for organizational-level practice. In the paper, the nature and scope of education and training in OSP are discussed, goals and methods for education and training are described, and the readiness of school psychology programs for education and training in OSP is considered.  相似文献

目前,中职学校专业教师数量不足和质量不高的问题同时存在,非对口专业教师任教现象比较普遍。师资问题已成为制约和影响中等职业教育质量提高和快速发展的瓶颈。河北师范大学职业技术学院是中职专业教师培养、培训的院校和全国重点建设的职教师资培训基地。“十五”以来,我们坚持“三性”(职业性、技术性、师范性)、“四双”(双师型素质、双技能训练、双证书制度、双基地建设)办学特色,通过全日制和函授专升本教学为中职学校培养了大批的、各类型的教学。我院主要通过以下举措加强中职师资的培养培训工作。  相似文献
