随着时代的发展,特别是自教育部要求实行学生学籍电子注册制度以来,对学籍管理工作提出了更高的准确性要求,为了能够更高效、更准确地做好学籍管理及电子注册工作,设计了基于Visual Foxpro数据库技术的学生学籍异动信息管理系统进行日常的学籍管理及学籍电子注册工作。该系统与学校教务管理系统无缝链接,极大地方便了工作,提高了工作效率,并确保了学籍管理工作的规范与准确性,学籍电子注册数据与校学籍数据的一致、完备性。  相似文献

学籍管理,顾名思义就是对学生从入校到离校这段期间内的注册管理、学生异动管理、学业成绩管理、在校期间的种种表现和最终的毕业证书发放等内容的管理。随着高校学生的数量逐年增加,使得学生的学籍数据越来越庞大,这也使得学生的学籍管理成为一个难题。学籍管理无疑是高校管理工作中的重点,它直接反映了高校教育管理的水平。所以说,学生学籍管理制度的提高与完善是学校的首要工作。由于学籍管理对高校的重要性,它要求学籍管理必须以学生为本,一切为学生思考,根据学校详情制定一系列学籍管理制度;而且随着现代技术的发展,高校的学籍管理也要求充分利用高科技手段制作完备的、人性化的和便捷的学籍管理系统。本文就根据现存的高校学生学籍管理制度存在的问题提出了解决办法并阐述了其存在的意义。  相似文献

This paper examines alternative techniques for projecting freshman enrollment in specific academic departments. Departmental enrollment projections provided by four different projection models are compared to actual departmental enrollments at a selected institution. Two of the models use only historical data, while the other two models are sensitized to current developments as indicated by the expressed major choices of prospective freshmen. The use of discriminant analysis to establish differential enrollment probabilities is also explored.Although different models do a better job for different curricular departments, the smallest mean squared error across all departments was obtained with the simplest projection technique. The use of the preliminary major choice of prospective freshmen did not improve departmental projections, and the student characteristics explored in this study did not differentiate enrolled from non-enrolled students adequately enough to improve enrollment projection accuracy.Based on the results obtained at this one institution, therefore, it would appear that simple and straightforward projection models can be as useful as complex and sophisticated models.This is an expanded version of an earlier paper read at the 1971 Association of Institutional Research Forum in Denver, Colorado.  相似文献

Perceived characteristics of research, teaching, and patient care tasks of faculty members and administrators in five medical schools were found to differ significantly among departments representing different scientific and medical specialties. These differences correspond to state of development of the field and nature of the work done in the different departments. The basic science departments, which as a group represent a higher state of scientific development than the clinical departments, were more homogeneous in reported task characteristics than were the clinical departments. In light of these differences, it is argued that it is dysfunctional to apply the same set of organizational policies and practices, such as criteria for rewards and promotions, uniformly to all departments.  相似文献

Kuhn's concept of paradigm development and organizational contingency theories served as theoretical guidelines to examine the structures of 35 West German university departments. The results provide convincing evidence about different organizational structures used in scientific fields of varying technological development. Physical science departments are less differentiated with regard to different academic subspecialities than social science departments, and their role structure reflects their proximity to mechanized hardware technologies. In addition, variable maps, obtained through smallest space analysis, suggest that physical science departments apply coordination techniques more consistently than departments in less developed fields as differentiation increases. Bureaucratic coordination techniques, other than influences through external authorities, are not of great importance in academic departments. Organizational size, just like the level of paradigm development, has an impact on all aspects of structure investigated. The implications of these findings are discussed and elaborated.  相似文献

Student teachers in England, mainly on one‐year courses, spend the majority of their time in schools. Secondary schools are primarily organised around subject departments, and these subgroups within schools have been shown to be significant for student outcomes and teachers’ experiences. However, research on school subject departments themselves is relatively limited, and developing better understandings of school subject departments is important for Initial Teacher Education (ITE) and educational research more broadly. This paper draws on an ethnographic study of three secondary school geography departments to analyse student teachers’ positionalities as knowers within departments. Opportunities for professional discussions within departments are limited, and are often dominated by immediate practical concerns. A social‐realist concept of knowledge–knower structures is used to explore the kinds of knowers accepted as legitimate in these departments. A dichotomous view of teachers as knowers was found, being positioned as knowing or not‐knowing particular areas of subject knowledge. This binary view is argued to be related to the language of the Teachers’ Standards in England. Suggestions are made for improving student teachers’ positions as knowers within departments by planning opportunities to contribute their expertise, and for developing more expansive discourses around subject knowledge to enable all to maximise opportunities to learn from the rich mines of expertise held across ITE partnerships.  相似文献
