两宋国子祭酒作为国家最高学府国子监的最高长官，肩负着推进国家教育改革与发展的重要使命。他们吸取五代衰乱之教训，尊儒术、尚文事，在助力传统儒学复兴和新儒学发展的同时，改科举、兴学校和校典籍，营造尊儒崇文的社会风气；改革科考内容以强调经术和策论，调整参试条件以勾连科举和学校，充分发挥官学的教育作用以弥补科举制度的不足，为国家选拔和培养治世之才；引领太学改革，推行三舍法、调整经学教材、选拔文行可称者为学官，以振兴官学教育；参与其他中央官学建设，制定武学、律学、画学和在京小学的教学管理制度，丰富官学教育体系；兴建地方官学，积极开办私学、聚徒讲学，发展地方教育，推行社会教化。

宋代中央官学是全国士子向往的最高学府,国子监和太学是宋代中央官学的典型代表。国子监是代表朝廷管理中央官学的核心机构,为朝廷决策提供咨询服务,太学是全国最高教育机构,为国家培养所需要的人才。中央官学逐渐制定了一套比较完善且严格的管理制度,各管理部门分工明确、各司其责,在一批学养丰富、管理有方的教官教育和管理下,为官学生潜心学业提供管理保障。中央官学的行政管理活动、教学管理活动和生活管理活动,构成了宋代中央官学管理活动的历史图景。     

学田制：中国古代办学经费的恒定渠道

喻本伐在《教育与经济》2006年第4期撰文指出，学田制是中国古代为学校教育提供办学经费的一种特殊方式，与其他教育经费的划拨和筹措存在着明显殊异，对地方官学和书院的办理影响甚大。在学田制创立以前，中央官学和地方官学的办学经费来源，主要依靠政府拨款，通常称之为“岁赐钱”或“赡学钱”。

20世纪以来宋代中央官学研究述评

20世纪以来,我国学者对宋代中央官学的研究取得了丰硕成果。从总体上来看,中央和地方官学经常被放在一起研究,涉及到宋代官学的教育管理制度、财政收支、师生日常生活等多方面。从研究对象来看,则主要集中于国子监、太学等领域。但上述研究仍然存在一些不足,主要体现在研究视角比较陈旧,问题意识较差,研究深度不够,影响力不强,研究方法缺乏创新等。

国子祭酒是唐代中央官学———国子监的最高行政长官,在唐代,他不仅只是一个文化官员,而且扮演着文人在政府机构代言人的角色。在某种程度上,他可以被视为一个时代最高学术水平的体现者,其任职人员的情况不仅能折射出特定时代的学术水准,而且也能反映出某个阶段统治者的文化政策,以及对待儒学的态度。唐代安史之乱前后国子祭酒人员的变动即反映出唐代统治者对待儒学态度的转变。     

元代地方官学体系的发展概况

元代的学校分为官学和私学两种。官学中,有中央官学,即国子学;还有地方的路、府、州、县学校,即地方官学,因学设孔子庙,故又被称之为“庙学”。本文所讨论的地方官学,主要指元代地方政府在路、府、州、县等各级政区设立的、以儒学为教学内容的传统官学。元代地方官学体系的发展概况,大致可以分为世祖以前,世祖、成宗时期,武宗至顺帝时期三个阶段。兹分述如下。

The Reader Response Approach to Teaching of English Literature

During interview with English majors, it was found that a majority of students expressed disappointment with their experience of English literature classes. Students' dislike of learning English literature appears to be the major problem of teaching English literature in China. Reader response approach is a good way to solve this problem. In this paper, I explain the rationale behind the reader response approach, such as its origin, definition, features, assumptions, and strategies. Then I illustrate how reader response approach works as a teaching strategy by presenting several teaching models. At last I evaluate its usefuiness for teachers and present the advantages of reader response approach in Chinese context.
