In China people share the dishes on the table together from a big dinner party to a family dinner.It is due to the different cooking ways from the West,the different eating ways from the West.It is not good to eat in the same plate together.Recently some pioneers appeal to establish a new way of eating:using public chopsticks,spoons to get food instead of personal chopsticks,spoons.Now when we advocate the new way of eating,surely we will meet some challenges from the traditional concepts.     

Offset Error Compensation in Roundness Measurement

This paper analyses three causes of offset error in roundness measurement and presents corresponding compensation methods.The causes of offset error include excursion error resulting from the deflection of the sensor‘s line of measurement from the rotational center in measurement (datum center), eccentricity error resulting from the variance between the workpiece‘s geometrical center and the rotational center, and tilt error resulting from the tilt between the workpiece‘s geometrical axes and the rotational centerline.

E-learning and Evaluation in Modern Educational System

Implementation of information and communication technologies as well as emersion of new user interfaces and web 2.0 technologies changes the way of education system, the way of living and business transactions in general. The way we communicate, operate, produce and live is also changing. In accordance with it, the systems of education change from traditional to modern. The following changes occur： from content delivery to knowledge production, from transfer of knowledge from teachers to students towards encouragement of development and construction of knowledge, from courses and programs changing to the adaptation of the study environment, from the faculty professionalism to the quality of teaching and student learning and the early involvement of students in research work and projects. These occurring changes also affect the students＇ and professors＇ mobility. Here, the word ＂mobility＂ represents not only the student exchange programs and the easier transitions from one＇s home university to a foreign one, but also the way professors conduct their classes. With the development of certain software, students＇ class attendance no longer represents an important factor, as they can now learn from distance using the mentioned software, taking the learning process one step further. In order for above-mentioned changes to occur, the use of e-learning and the development of new tools are almost mandatory. With this in mind, the goal of this paper is to analyze quantitatively the changes that are occurring almost every day that affect the students＇ learning and the professors＇ teaching methods.     

Effect of agarose content on microstructures and mechanical properties of porous silicon nitride ceramics produced by gelcasting

<正>Porous Si3N4 self-reinforce ceramics were prepared by gelcasting using agarose solutions. By changing the agarose content in the slurries, the porous silicon nitride ceramics with different porosities, α→β-Si3N4 phase transformation, and mechanical properties were obtained. When the agarose content changed from 0.2% to 0.8% (w/w, based on powder), the porosities increased from 10.3% to 21.4%, while the fracture strength decreased from 455 to 316 MPa and the fracture toughness decreased from 6.6 to 5.5 MPa·m1/2. Many fibrous β-Si3N4 grains grown from the internal wall of the round pores is the typical microstructure of the gelcasting porous silicon nitride ceramic. Both elongated β-Si3N4 grains and suitable interfacial bonding strength contributes to high fracture toughness by favoring crack deflection and bridging. The growth mechanisms of fibrous grains resulted from the synergy of solution-diffusion-reprecipitation and vapor-liquid-solid (VLS).

It is a very fine substitutable energy technology to synthesize ethanol from biomass-derived syngas. This paper summarized the development of preparing ethanol from syngas, and especially elaborated on the research status of catalysts for the process. Based on the relative researches on the reaction mechanism, structure and performance of the catalysts, the optimum design of catalysts with high activity was presented in this review, which set the theoretical and application foundation for the industrial production of ethanol from syngas.
