Learning at home with information and communication technologies

Digitisation and the convergence of computing and telecommunications have led to a range of information and communication technologies (ICT) that have the potential to transform education. ICT are being used by teachers and learners in conventional universities and colleges as well as in tertiary institutions that serve the needs of distance learners, be they home‐based or in some other off‐campus location. They can enable distance learners to receive and interact with educational materials and resources and to engage with teachers and peers in ways that previously may have been impossible. However, the domestic contexts within which home‐based learners undertake their studies are complex and highly varied and these circumstances impact upon the educational process (Kirkwood 1995).

There is a need to examine not only the nature of the relationships between learners and the technologies, but also the social relationships within the domestic setting. It is important for course designers and developers to consider issues of access to ICT ‐ both quantitative and qualitative ‐ in the homes of their target student audience in order to develop a better understanding of their learners. Significant disparities in access exist, both within and between countries, and these can exacerbate existing educational advantages and inequities. Greater awareness of the diverse environments within which home‐based learning takes place should help inform the planning and design of courses and materials that are appropriate for such varied contexts.     

近年来国内外关于学习倦怠研究综述

近年来国内外学者开展了一系列学习倦怠的研究,这些研究主要集中于学习倦怠的性质、结构模式、学习倦怠的测量以及影响因素等方面。学习倦怠问题今后的研究趋势为：关于学习倦怠理论问题的研究将一如既往地受到关注;探索并编制出结构合理、信效度高、本土化色彩强的学习倦怠量表,为有效地诊断及干预学生的学习倦怠问题提供科学有效的工具是今后努力的方向;学生学习倦怠的干预研究将成为日后研究的重点和热点;同时,帮助学生减轻倦怠心理的干预策略的效果评估也将开辟成为新的研究领域。

Learning in the home and at school: How working class children ‘succeed against the odds’

This paper presents data collected in individual case studies that aimed to investigate children and their families who succeeded against the usual ‘odds’ of disadvantage. Funded as an extension of EPPE 3–11 by the Cabinet Office for the Equalities Review, the study focused particularly closely upon the performance of disadvantaged children from White and minority ethnic groups. The study found that disadvantaged families often have high aspirations for their children and provide significant educational support through ‘concerted cultivation’. The paper discusses the implications for policy and for practice and argues that much of the popular criticism of state policies related to social exclusion fail to acknowledge the need to engage with the policy in action as well as in theory. It is also argued that these policies offer significant and valuable contexts for supporting efforts on the part of families and individuals to achieve success in education ‘against the odds’.

Because of new applications of telecommunications, especially television, adults today have increasing flexibility in taking advantage of college courses in the privacy and convenience of their homes. The quality of courses has improved greatly in the last few years, and they are available in a variety of subject areas. Today's television courses are carefully designed and produced by teams of leading scholars and producers. Most of the country's public televison stations broadcast one or more television courses, each semester. In addition, many are broadcast on local cable channels. Most of the students for television courses are older than traditional college students, female and employed. They view the television courses at home. In the future, the personal computer can be expected to add new dimensions and flexibility to homebased college education.     

入户盗窃研究

盗窃罪始终是侵犯公民财产犯罪的重点。在《刑法修正案八》出台后,对入户盗窃罪的相关内容做出了重要修订。对于入户盗窃罪而言,也降低了其入罪标准。对于某些特定的盗窃罪而言,已不在考虑盗窃次数和盗窃数额。同时,就入户盗窃而言,保护的法益也由原来的单一变得复杂。所以,对入户盗窃的界定进行新的认识是十分重要的,便于我们对公民的法益采取更有效的保护措施。     

学习型组织与组织学习初探

组织学习是指组织为了实现发展目标、提高核心竞争力而围绕信息和知识技能所采取的各种行动;是组织不断努力改变或重新设计自身以适应持续变化的环境的过程。组织学习也是有价值、有意义的学习,即组织有明确的发展战略和规划,有凝聚全体成员的共同愿景,有明确的组织价值观和核心理念;也一定是有组织的思维和情感,即组织成员之间建立了亲密的合作伙伴关系,有良好的人际关系、无组织防卫等。从学习型组织与组织学习的关系看,组织学习着重研究、探讨的是学习在组织中发生的内在方式与过程;学习型组织探索的是建立和优化组织的机制、制度和环境,以保证组织能够有效地进行组织学习、最大化地获得学习的效果。从实践的角度看,创建学习型组织的核心是实现组织学习,是通过组织学习实现组织知识的创新,这种知识即包括组织的外在,如结构、制度等,也包括组织的文化、组织成员的态度与技能等,还包括组织与组织、组织与成员、成员与成员之间的关系与交往等,且后者更为重要。     

自主·合作·探究:学生学习方式的转变

自主、合作与探究学习是新课改倡导的学习方式和我国学习方式转变的方向。为了研究中小学生学习方式转变的现状及其影响因素,笔者对分层抽取的440名教师和14 406名学生进行了问卷调查,结果发现:中小学生的学习方式在一定程度上发生了转变,但自主学习与探究学习有所欠缺;女生、低年级和城市学生的学习方式转变相对较好;教师获得的教学支持、教学自主权和教学方式对学习方式转变具有显著的正向影响,而对以成绩为导向的教学能力却产生显著的负向影响;学生的母亲学历、同伴关系、师生关系、内在学习动机等对学习方式转变具有显著的正向影响,学业压力越大越不利于学习方式的转变。因此,应促进教师专业发展,增强教育管理的民主性,提高学习活动的针对性,建立良好的学习环境。
