提高初中生口语能力之我见

英语作为一种交际语言,要求学生们要会说,要会运用其进行交流。学习语言离不开语言环境,缺乏语言环境是中国人学习英语的最大障碍。我们农村学生更缺少锻炼的机会,平时用英语交流的机会极其有限。为了防止“哑巴英语”的现象出现,我在提高初中生口语表达能力方面做了一些尝试。     

关于英语学习中的中西方文化差异

文化是一个社会群体中各个成员的信仰、观念、风俗、行为、社会习惯等的总和。语言是文化的载体，有着丰富的文化内涵，它们不可分割，相互影响，相互依存。学习英语的过程，也是了解和掌握英语文化背景知识的过程。对文化背景知识的掌握程度直接影响到一个人的英语使用能力，是能否得体地运用语言的前提。因此，在学习英语语言知识的同时，也要注意同步地学习与英语有关的文化。反过来说，我们从学习英语语言也可以看出使用该语言的社会文化。汉英语言丰富多采，中西文化更是博大精深，通过对比了解中西文化的差异，的确对语言学习起着非常重要的作用。以下是本人在学习英语过程中对中西文化差异的一些简单见解：     

简论提高成人英语交际能力

文化是人类社会生活和精神生活取得的成就的总和，渗透于社会生活的各个方面。而语言是一种社会现象，反映着孕育它的一种文化，它随着社会的产生而产生，随着社会的发展而发展，属于文化的范畴。语言作为文化的组成部分，其特殊性表现在：语言是学习文化的主要丁具，人在学习和运用语言的过程中获得整个文化。离开一个民族的文化，要准确掌握它的语言几乎是不可能的。因此在英语学习中，我们不仅要学习语言知识、训练语言能力，而且还要加强有关文化背景知识的学习，了解英语国家文化，培养跨文化交际意识。     

谈中学生英语语感的培养

英语语感就是人们对英语语言的感觉,它包括人们对英语的语音感受、语意感受、语言情感色彩的感受等。它是学生对英语语言法则,组织方法的掌握、运用,是经过反复感性能认识上升为理性认识的经验、体会。语感来自于语言实践,又指导语言实践,要学好用好英语,学生就应该具备良好的语感。英语教学要走出“纯语法”的教学误区,在教学中培养好的语感是提高初中学生英语学习质量的一条素质教育改革之路。那么,在英语教学中,我们应该如何通过阅读和写作来培养学生良好的英语语感呢？     

高职高专英语多媒体教学的利与弊及对策探究

多媒体课件使原本枯燥、抽象的语言知识具体化、形象化,提高了英语教学的直观性、趣味性,激发了学生学习英语的兴趣,在某种程度上增强了师生互动。但我们在使用它的过程中还存在着一些误解和偏差。作为教师,要合理地运用多媒体技术,充分利用多媒体技术的优势来辅助教学,对其不足之处,要综合其他教学模式予以弥补,真正能够调动学生英语学习的主动性和积极性。     

巧妙处理学生说母语和表达错误的情况

词汇与语言能力密切相关,词汇是理解语言和运用语言的基础,没有足够的词汇量,就谈不上听、说、读、写、译的发展。词汇学习的目的不仅是要记住它,而且在需要时能够自然地、在广泛的语境中运用它。词汇学习策略是用来学习词汇程序的知识、特殊的行动或心理行为。在平时的英语教学中,师生要充分认识到词汇学习的重要性,而且教师要有意识地教给学生一些有效的词汇学习策略,以提高学生词汇学习的效率,提高学生的英语语言水平。     

利用英英释义掌握地道英语

在日常教学中,我们不难发现。语文功底较好的学生也能较快地提升英语语言运用能力。究其原因,英语及语言内含文化所要传递的信息往往要先经过我们母语文化的过滤,我们在学习一门外语时首先要用“中文思维”,继而再转换成“英文思维”。在学习英语的初期,把母语作为辅助手段是十分必要的,以母语为基础的翻译教学法则虽然传统但也有效,它能够利用学生的理解力保证了学生快速理解英语词汇和句子的含义。     

浅谈全方位、开放式英语教学的开展

高中英语新教学大纲指出：“英语课是一门实践性很强的工具课。在英语教学中要努力使基础知识转化为言语技能，并发展成运用英语交际的能力……”。然而，仅限于课堂的常规英语教学，常常因为空间和时间上的限制，只注重了学生语言知识的学习和应试能力的培养。在这种教学模式中，生动活泼的语言变成了一些形式的符号，语言的学习与学生的生活实践脱节，学生掌握的基础知识难以转化为言语技能，更别说发展为运用英语交际的能力。近年来，我们遵循语言学习的规律，开展全方位、开放式英语教学实验，有效地改变了这种状况。学生的语言技能和运用英语交际的能力明显提高。     

以有效朗读促英语语感培养

英语是一门非母语语言,而小学生又是在非英语的语言环境中学习的,缺少以口头语言进行交际的客观需要,而且汉语对英语学习多少产生负迁移．这就使得我们小学阶段的英语入门教学更为重要．它决定着学生今后在英语学习方面的提高与发展。我们要抓住这个学习英语的启蒙阶段,遵循儿童语言学习的一般规律,努力培养学生的英语语感。为今后的英语学习打好坚实的基础。那么怎样培养语感呢？俗话说：“观千剑而后识器,操千曲而后晓声。”

The Reader Response Approach to Teaching of English Literature

During interview with English majors, it was found that a majority of students expressed disappointment with their experience of English literature classes. Students' dislike of learning English literature appears to be the major problem of teaching English literature in China. Reader response approach is a good way to solve this problem. In this paper, I explain the rationale behind the reader response approach, such as its origin, definition, features, assumptions, and strategies. Then I illustrate how reader response approach works as a teaching strategy by presenting several teaching models. At last I evaluate its usefuiness for teachers and present the advantages of reader response approach in Chinese context.
