Extracting Moving Objects Based on Morphological Motion Filter

This paper presents a new approach to the extraction of a moving object from video sequence.The method is based on morphological motion filter using connected operator and a propsed new filtering criterion.The morphological motion filter aims to detect motion which is distinct from that of the background,and thereby locates independently moving physical objects in the secnes.Experiments show that the algorithm can extract object from moving backgrounds efficiently.     

Research on Product Data Management Based on Multi—agent System

PDM（product data management)is one kind of techniques based on software and database,which integrates information and process related to products.But it is not enough to perform the complication of PDM in enterprises.Then the mechanism to harmonize all kinds of information and process in needed.The paper introduces a novel approach to implement the intelligent monitor of PDM based on MAS(multi-0agent system).It carries out the management of information and process by MC( monitor Center).The paper first puts forward the architecture of the whole system,then defines the structure of MC and its interoperation mode.

A Method of Calculating the 3D coordinates on a Micro Object in a Virtual Micro—Operation System

A simple method for calculating the 3D coordinates of points on a moro object in a multi-camera system is proposed.It simplifies the algorithms used in traditional computer vision system by eliminating the calculation of the CCD( charge coupled device) camera parameters and the relative position between cameras,and using solid geometry in the calculation procedres instead of the calculation of the complex matrixes,The algorithm was used in the research of generating a virtual magnified 3D image of a micro object to be operated in a micro operation system,and the satisfactory results were obtained.The application in a virtual tele-operation system for a dexterous mechanical gripper is under test.     

Study on Sorption of Monocrotophos and Parathion—methyl on Yellow River‘s Sediments

A study on the sorption of monocrotophos and parathion-methyl on Yellow River‘s sediments was performed.The influence of some factors,such as pH value and ionic strength,on the sorption was investigated and first order kinetics mode for the sorption of monocrophos was shown.Freundlich isotherm was suggested as the most appropriate type for monocrophos an parathion-methyl.But the sorption isotherms of monocrotophos and parathion-methyl are also in conformity with Langmuir equation.Both partition and adsorption occur to the sorption of monocrophos to Yellow River‘s sediments.but partition is the predominant for that of parathionmethyl.

Study on One—Dimensional Model of Traffic Flow with Stochastic Deceleration via Lattice Boltzmann Method

One-dimensional traffic model was studied with the consideration of stochastic deceleration by using the lattice Boltzmannmethod.The evolution equation for vehicle density was derived,which has the form of the Burgers equation exhibiting the effect of viscosity corresponding to the deceleration.The simulation with the model shows that the variation of vehicle density in space tends to a periodic one,which implies the existence of kinematic waves in the 1D traffic flow and coincides with theoretical prediction.
