Contemporary Chinese public relations education: development and challenges

This study provides a comprehensive update of Chinese public relations education. Particularly, it (1) examined the challenges facing Chinese public relations education and (2) explored the positive changes that have emerged in Chinese public relations education. Researchers conducted 49 face-to-face in-depth interviews with Chinese public relations educators, students, and professionals supplemented with a content analysis of 22 Web sites of Chinese universities with public relations programs. Major findings include: (1) absence of doctoral programs, (2) rigid public relations curriculum structure, (3) dominance of traditional public relations pedagogy, (4) lack of qualified public relations educators, and (5) inadequate institutional recognition. In addition to these key challenges that Chinese public relations education confronts, it has also been undergoing some promising changes. For example, public relations education is adjusting to meet the needs of students. Educators are developing both educational and professional expertise. Moreover, there has been a rise of government public relations in the context of China's rapid economic and political reform.     

加强国家自然科学基金申报组织与过程管理的质量控制

本文结合工作实践,就国家自然科学基金资助项目申报、中期及后期管理三阶段的质量控制谈几点认识。1把握项目申报质量是立项的关键一个基金项目申报的基础在于平日的长期积累,是一个厚积薄发的过程。而申报的组织管理往往也起到关键作用。1．1严把基金项目的形式审查关形式审查是基金评审工作的第一个环节,即初审,不符合相关手续及资助范围的申请都不能进行同行评议。申请者往往会将注意力放在标书本身的内容上,而忽视了形式上的要求,在初审时惨遭淘汰,痛失竞争的机会。例如：国家自然科学基金委生命学部面上项目中2004年因形式不合格而被初筛去掉的     

核磁共振氢谱研究二氢杨梅素的抗氧化机理

通过核磁共振氢谱研究了二氢杨梅素(DMY)与引发剂混合加热后DMY分子中羟基的变化,从DMY的结构入手对其抗氧化机理进行了分析。结果表明,DMY的抗氧化活性中心在其分子中B环的3个相邻的羟基上,初步揭示了DMY抗氧化机理。     

Microfluidic platform for isolating nucleic acid targets using sequence specific hybridization

The separation of target nucleic acid sequences from biological samples has emerged as a significant process in today''s diagnostics and detection strategies. In addition to the possible clinical applications, the fundamental understanding of target and sequence specific hybridization on surface modified magnetic beads is of high value. In this paper, we describe a novel microfluidic platform that utilizes a mobile magnetic field in static microfluidic channels, where single stranded DNA (ssDNA) molecules are isolated via nucleic acid hybridization. We first established efficient isolation of biotinylated capture probe (BP) using streptavidin-coated magnetic beads. Subsequently, we investigated the hybridization of target ssDNA with BP bound to beads and explained these hybridization kinetics using a dual-species kinetic model. The number of hybridized target ssDNA molecules was determined to be about 6.5 times less than that of BP on the bead surface, due to steric hindrance effects. The hybridization of target ssDNA with non-complementary BP bound to bead was also examined, and non-specific hybridization was found to be insignificant. Finally, we demonstrated highly efficient capture and isolation of target ssDNA in the presence of non-target ssDNA, where as low as 1% target ssDNA can be detected from mixture. The microfluidic method described in this paper is significantly relevant and is broadly applicable, especially towards point-of-care biological diagnostic platforms that require binding and separation of known target biomolecules, such as RNA, ssDNA, or protein.

非立即损耗和存货影响销售下的高科技农产品订货策略

科技创新是实现农业现代化的一个重要手段,大力开发高科技农产品,对增加农产品产量,提高其品质和安全水平,以及促进农业长期可持续发展具有十分重要的意义.考虑高科技农产品存在明显的存货影响销售和非立即损耗现象,建立一个两阶段存货影响销售的非立即损耗产品订货模型.利用Mathematica5.0软件进行数值仿真计算,分析存货影响销售、产品损耗和产品保质期对订货策略和平均利润的影响.研究结果表明:存货影响销售率因子和产品损耗率对订货策略影响较大,而存货影响销售率因子和存货影响销售临界点对平均利润影响较大,在制定订货策略时必须考虑这两大因素.     

微生物降解多环芳烃研究进展

多环芳烃(PAHs)是一类普遍存在于环境中的难降解的有机污染物。从降解多环芳烃的微生物、多环芳烃降解菌的筛选、多环芳烃的共代谢机理等进行了综述,并对该领域的研究方向进行了展望。     

直流电机数字脉宽调速实验系统的研究与设计

本文介绍了EL-DS-Ⅲ型实验台直流电机传统模拟控制器的弊端和缺陷,重点阐述了基于数字信号处理器(DSP)代替传统模拟控制器,利用PWM脉宽调速技术和经典的转速、电流双闭环数字PI调节技术实现直流电机数字控制器的设计思路,对于实现高性能、高精度、多功能的直流电机数字脉宽调速实验系统提供了一种有效的实现途径。     

中学生体育锻炼价值取向的特点

采用问卷调查、文献资料、数理统计等方法,对276位中学生参加体育锻炼的价值取向进行了调查,以期为中学体育教学提供有益的实证参考。结果表明:中学生参与体育锻炼的目的,大部分是为了增强体质,增进健康,但在性别和年级变量上,存在差异。     

Building a space to dream: Supporting indigenous children's survivance through community-engaged social and emotional learning

Indigenous communities practice survivance and challenge social and political systems to support their children's identity and well-being. Grounded in transformative social-emotional learning (SEL) and tribal critical race theory, this 3-year community-based participatory research study (2019–2021) examined how a SEL program co-created with an Indigenous community in Flathead Nation in Montana supports anti-racism and anti-colonialism among Indigenous children. Critical reflexivity and thematic analyses of Community Advisory Board meetings and journals written by 60 students (M_age = 10.3, SD = 1.45; 47% girls; 60% Native American) during the SEL program revealed themes on Indigenous identity, belonging, wellness, and colonialism. These results shed light on challenging the racist and colonial roots of education to support Indigenous children's survivance and social-emotional well-being.
