加强教学过程中的实践训练,提高教学质量

在教学过程中加强实践训练,由教师单向传授知识转变为教与学双向互动学习是培养学生综合素质的有效途径。文章通过对课堂教学方式的实践训练方法和传统教学方法改革思想的认识,对课堂教学改革与教育创新的关系进行论述,指出实践训练对提高教学质量的作用。

培养学生在英语写作中有效理解和使用评价手段,有利于达成语篇评价意义主题明确、评价语义连贯性强的高质量作文,有利于培养学生恰当地使用收缩和扩展性介入手段表述自己的观点。     

A conceptual change approach to staff development: A model for programme design

With the rapid expansion in tertiary education in the past decade, coupled with the rising emphasis on accountability, teaching quality has become an important issue in higher education worldwide. The increasing emphasis on quality has placed new demands on staff development, in particular to find promising models and methodologies that will guide development approaches. The paper describes an innovative approach to staff development that was synthesized from four theories about conceptual change or change in general. This conceptual change approach is based on the hypothesis that changing teachers' conceptions of teaching towards more elaborated levels will bring about improvement in their teaching practices. A short course derived from this model is outlined.     

The romance and reality of policy‐making and implementation: a case study of the target‐oriented curriculum in Hong Kong

One of the major innovations in the recent wave of education reform in Hong Kong is the target‐oriented curriculum. An interesting feature of this new curriculum initiative was its amoebic characteristics – changing shape and focus in its course of development. It was reshaped from an assessment system for accountability purposes to a centrally developed curriculum initiative for improving teaching and learning, and finally to a school‐based curriculum development. In this paper, this course of development and the reasons behind it will be described and analysed. The study suggests that the two‐tier educational policy and implementation system in Hong Kong is a major cause leading to such a phenomenon. If this system were not improved, the possibility of achieving real changes at the school and classroom level would be low.

中文文本知识元的构建及其现实意义

中文文本知识元的构建是解决汉语自动分词问题,实现对中文自然语言理解,并对知识内容进行操作、管理之基础。应当以汉语主题词为基础,构建中文文本知识元,建立知识元数据库,完成对知识内容的自由操作和管理。图1。参考文献26。
