This paper deals with the problem of robust stability and robust stabilization for a class of continuous-time singular Takagi–Sugeno fuzzy systems. Sufficient conditions on stability and stabilization are proposed in terms of strict LMI (Linear Matrix Inequality) for uncertain T–S fuzzy models. In order to reduce the conservatism of results developed using quadratic method, an approach based on non-quadratic Lyapunov functions and S-procedure is proposed. Illustrative examples are given to show the effectiveness of the given results.  相似文献

Eye injuries from blunt forces and penetrating objects can cause morbidity, disability, and blindness. Most of these injuries are preventable not only by understanding the detail of injury, but also by portraying the role of the ball’s characteristics. Basketball can induce severe forms of injuries to the eye. This study was aimed at performing a numerical analysis through the fluid–structure interaction on ocular trauma. Balls with different diameters, elastic moduli, and pressures were shot to the eye. Injury in terms of the stresses and deformations in each component of the eye was computed at ~?0.72 mm deformation in the apex of the cornea. By increasing the diameter of the ball from 20 to 26 cm the stress in the eye components, excluding the aqueous body, vitreous body, and extraconal fat, increased. Stresses of 2.68 and 3.19 MPa were observed in the cornea under the ball diameters of 20 and 26 cm, respectively. Conversely, the elastic modulus and pressure of the ball in the defined range showed no considerable role on the stress in the eye components. The results revealed the importance of the ball size compared to the elastic modulus and pressure in the stress accumulation as a result of ocular trauma.  相似文献

In this work, the cruise control problem of high-speed trains’ movements is investigated. Both cases of a single high-speed train and multiple high-speed trains are under consideration. Different with most existing studies where the centralized control or the decentralized control methods are adopted based on a single point mass model of the train, in this paper, a distributed control mechanism is proposed by virtue of the graph theory, and the high-speed train’s model is built as a cascade of point masses connected by flexible couplers. For a single high-speed train, the neighboring cars interact through the coupling force with each other, which can be described by a connected topological graph by regarding each car as a node. Besides, the speed information communication among the cars is considered to be described by another directed topological graph. A distributed control strategy is then developed, with which all the cars of a train track a desired speed asymptotically and the neighboring cars keep a safety distance from each other. For the multiple high-speed trains running on a railway line, the in-train force interaction topology and the speed information communication topology of all the trains are more complex than those of a single train. A new cluster consensus technique is developed, by which a distributed control law is designed. Under the control law, the trains can track the desired speeds asymptotically, the headway distance between adjacent trains and the distance between the neighboring cars of a train can be kept in appropriate ranges. Finally, simulations are provided to illustrate the effectiveness of the obtained theoretical results.  相似文献

Recent results in output-feedback controller design make possible an efficient computation of static output-feedback controllers by solving a single-step LMI optimization problem. This new design strategy is based on a simple transformation of variables, and it has been applied in the field of vibration control of large structures with positive results. There are, however, some feasibility problems that can compromise the effectiveness and applicability of the new approach. In this paper, we present some relevant properties of the variable transformations that allow devising an effective procedure to deal with these feasibility issues. The proposed procedure is applied in designing a static velocity-feedback HH controller for the seismic protection of a five-story building with excellent results.  相似文献

This paper deals with the fault tolerant control (FTC) design for a Vertical Takeoff and Landing (VTOL) aircraft subject to external disturbances and actuator faults. The aim is to synthesize a fault tolerant controller ensuring trajectory tracking for the nonlinear uncertain system represented by a Takagi–Sugeno (T–S) model. In order to design the FTC law, a proportional integral observer (PIO) is adopted which estimate both of the faults and the faulty system states. Based on the Lyapunov theory and ?2 optimization, the trajectory tracking performance and the stability of the closed loop system are analyzed. Sufficient conditions are obtained in terms of linear matrix inequalities (LMI). Simulation results show that the proposed controller is robust with respect to uncertainties on the mechanical parameters that characterize the model and secures global convergence.  相似文献

This paper deals with observer-based control design for a class of switched discrete-time linear systems with parameter uncertainties. The main contribution of the paper is to propose a convenient way based on Finsler’s lemma to enhance the synthesis conditions, expressed in terms of Linear Matrix Inequalities (LMIs). Indeed, this judicious use of Finsler’s lemma provides additional decision variables, which render the LMIs less conservative and more general than all those existing in the literature for the same class of systems. Two numerical examples followed by a Monte Carlo evaluation are proposed to show the superiority of the proposed design technique.  相似文献

Hepatitis B virus (HBV) infection is a worldwide health concern which is associated with significant morbidity and mortality. Both viral and host factors have a significant effect on infection, replication and pathogenesis of HBV. The aim of this study was to investigate the effect of CYP2E1 and CYP1A1 genetic variants on susceptibility to HBV. 143 individuals including 54 chronic HBV patients and 89 healthy controls were enrolled in the genotyping procedure. rs2031920 and rs3813867 at CYP2E1 as well as rs4646421 and rs2198843 at CYP1A1 loci were studied in all subjects using PCR–RFLP (restriction fragment length polymorphism) analysis. Both variants at CYP2E1 locus were monomorphic in all studied subjects. Genotype frequency of rs4646421 was significantly different between chronic HBV patients and healthy blood donors (P = 0.04, OR 4.31; 95% CI 1.04–17.7). Furthermore, individuals carrying at least one C allele (CC or CT genotypes) for rs4646421 seemed to have a decrease risk of hepatitis in comparison with TT genotype (P = 0.039). Our results showed a relationship between rs4646421 TT genotype (rare genotype) and the risk for developing chronic HBV infection (four times higher). Further studies are needed to examine the role of CYP1A1 polymorphism in susceptibility to chronic HBV infection.  相似文献

The problem of finite-time stability for linear discrete-time systems with time-varying delay is studied in this paper. In order to deal with the time delay, the original system is firstly transformed into two interconnected subsystems. By constructing a delay-dependent Lyapunov–Krasovskii functional and using a two-term approximation of the time-varying delay, sufficient conditions of finite-time stability are derived and expressed in terms of linear matrix inequalities (LMIs). The derived stability conditions can be applied into analyzing the finite-time stability and deriving the maximally tolerable delay. Compared with the existing results on finite-time stability, the derived stability conditions are less conservative. In addition, for the stabilization problem, we design the state-feedback controller. Finally, numerical examples are used to illustrate the effectiveness of the proposed method.  相似文献

Teaching argumentation with appropriate activities and strategies would support a wide range of goals in science education. Though science labs have been suggested and employed for argumentation activities, such educational expenditures are likely to be beyond the means of most schools in under-resourced areas. Due to the lack of appropriate technological infrastructure and financial support, science education in developing countries is limited to the traditional approach. Teachers and students in the developing world, or other rural areas without sufficient lab resources in developed countries, would adopt argumentation in science classroom if they utilize their wireless infrastructure. We suggest a remote science lab for students in under-resourced schools, and suggest a possible way to engage them in argumentation activities. This paper introduces Remotely Operated Science Experiment (ROSE) and its implementation, and draws on the result of the intervention focusing on the impact of ROSE on students’ argumentation and learning.  相似文献
