Motilin levels and electrogastroenterogram studies in hypothyroidism

To study the relationship between gastrointestinal dysfunction and motilin in patients with hypothyroidism. The plasma motilin concentration was measured by radiommunoassay (RIA) in 30 patients with hypothyroidism and also in 30 controls. At the same time, the electrogastroenterogram was also taken. Among the hypothyroidism patients, 56.6% had decreased gastric motility, especially in gastric body and greater gastric curvature; 86.6% had decreased colonic motility, especially in the left half of the colon. There were no significant differences of plasma motilin concentration between patients with hypothyroidism and controls (P>0.05). There were also no differences between pre-treatment and post-treatment individuals, but significant differences were observed in the electrogastroenterogram. We conclude that the plasma motilin concertration in hypothyroidism patients was the same as that in normal patients, and that electrogastroenterogram studies in patients with gastrointestinal dysfunction may be valuable.

自由能—氧化态图的应用

WVD的快速计算

The paper proposes a new method for computation of the Wigner-Ville distribution (WVD) taking account of the conjugate symmetry of the WVD kernel function and the periodicity and symmetry of the trigonometric function. The method transfers the computation of WVD into real field from complex field to remove the redundancies in the fast Fourier transform(FFT) computation. The realization of fast cosine operation and fast sine operation considerably reduces the computation cost. Theoretical analysis shows that

The effect of distributed monitoring exercises and feedback on performance, monitoring accuracy, and self-efficacy

Monitoring one’s own study processes accurately is important in self-regulated learning. This study compared a treatment (N = 45) and comparison class (N = 39) on the effects of monitoring exercises and feedback on calibration and test performance over a 16-week undergraduate course. Path analyses revealed a significant influence of the intervention on class performance, calibration, and self-efficacy. The results suggest the appropriateness of integrating distributed metacognitive exercises in class content and the fundamental role of monitoring ability in performance-based course outcomes and self-efficacy.

“i-Module”商标 韩国申请人株式会社现代显示科技（Hyundai Display Technology，Inc．）於2001年9月PP日在国际分类第9类“液晶显示监视器（计算机硬件）”商品上向商标局提出“i-Module”商标（以下称申请商标，见附图P）的注册申请，并声明指定颜色’。商标局经审查，於2002年7月2日以ZC1985099BH1号商标驳回通知书驳回了该商标的注册申请，理由是申请商标与微软公司（Microsoft Corporation）在类似商品上已注册的第138741、号“i”商标（以下称引证商标，见附图2，刊登於第720期《商标公告》）近似，且该商标中的“Module”译为“模数、模块”，为计算机技术术语，在指定商品上用作商标缺乏显着特征。
