This article analyzes the theoretical and practical aspects of the academic internationalization process, through the main events and pathways developed over the 60 years of the EAESP/FGV, the São Paulo Business School of the Getulio Vargas Foundation (Brazil). A survey was conducted of former directors, coordinators of the main international programs and all school faculty (266 professors) about their training and international activities. EAESP/FGV has developed a diverse and consolidated international career, surpassing the activities related to teaching and student mobility. However, there are some opportunities to deepen internationalization as a strategic brand of the institution.  相似文献

Geriatrics education at the University of Valle Medical School uses many teaching strategies in undergraduate and postgraduate programs. These include improving communication with older patients, accepting one's own aging, teaching human values, providing experiences with well elderly, and participating in an interdisciplinary team. There are common curricular areas in geriatrics for health care disciplines which include medicine, dentistry, nursing, speech therapy, physiotherapy, and occupational therapy. However, each discipline also has specific curricular components. There is a curricular program for family medicine and internal medicine residents. A curriculum design was approved for a new geriatrics fellowship program which is in development. Finally, the progression of the curriculum is according to the learning needs of each level of education among medical students, residents and fellows.  相似文献

Hypes occur in every domain of human behavior, including scientific research. We show in this contribution that journals and authors who studied the h-index benefited in terms of short-term citations. As, moreover, the introduction of the h-index is more a ‘clever find’ than a first rate intellectual achievement, its rise can be compared to a stock market bubble.  相似文献

This paper investigates how technological diversification influences the rate and specific types of innovative competence. We test a set of hypotheses in a longitudinal study of a sample of biotechnology firms. Our findings provide strong support for the premise that a diversified technology base positively affects innovative competence. Furthermore, technological diversification is found to have a stronger effect on exploratory than on exploitative innovative capability. This empirical evidence suggests that technological diversity may mitigate core rigidities and path dependencies by enhancing novel solutions that accelerate the rate of invention, especially that which departs from a firm's past activities.  相似文献

Graph Convolutional Networks (GCNs) have been established as a fundamental approach for representation learning on graphs, based on convolution operations on non-Euclidean domain, defined by graph-structured data. GCNs and variants have achieved state-of-the-art results on classification tasks, especially in semi-supervised learning scenarios. A central challenge in semi-supervised classification consists in how to exploit the maximum of useful information encoded in the unlabeled data. In this paper, we address this issue through a novel self-training approach for improving the accuracy of GCNs on semi-supervised classification tasks. A margin score is used through a rank-based model to identify the most confident sample predictions. Such predictions are exploited as an expanded labeled set in a second-stage training step. Our model is suitable for different GCN models. Moreover, we also propose a rank aggregation of labeled sets obtained by different GCN models. The experimental evaluation considers four GCN variations and traditional benchmarks extensively used in the literature. Significant accuracy gains were achieved for all evaluated models, reaching results comparable or superior to the state-of-the-art. The best results were achieved for rank aggregation self-training on combinations of the four GCN models.  相似文献

This study investigated the three-dimensional (3-D) pedaling kinematics using a noncircular chainring system and a conventional system. Five cyclists pedaled at their preferred cadence at a workload of 300 W using two crank systems. Flexion/extension of the hip, knee and ankle as well as shank rotation, foot adduction/abduction, and pedal angle were measured. Joint range of motion (ROM) and angular displacements were compared between the systems. Sagittal plane ROM was significantly greater (P < 0.05) at the hip (noncircular system = 39 ± 3°; conventional system = 34 ± 4°) the knee (noncircular system = 69 ± 4°; conventional system = 57 ± 10°), and ankle (noncircular system = 21 ± 2°; conventional system = 19 ± 4°) resulting in greater pedal ROM (noncircular system = 43 ± 3°; conventional system = 37 ± 5°) while using the noncircular system. Shank rotation ROM was significantly lower (P < 0.05) while using the noncircular chainring (noncircular system = 10 ± 1°; conventional system = 14 ± 1°). These results support a significant effect of the noncircular chainring system on pedaling kinematics during submaximal exercise.  相似文献

Electronic government procurement (eGP) is quickly becoming an essential piece of national e-government programs, since it enables active transparency and favors efficient vendor relationships; however, little attention has been paid to the need for periodical measurement of eGP portals' performance and goal satisfaction. Although maturity levels schemes have been proposed for other domains, most notably IT-related, to the best of our knowledge no maturity level model of eGP has been widely deployed yet. This article presents the e-Government Procurement Observatory Maturity Model (eGPO-MM), which focuses on both legal and institutional arrangements, and portals' technical aspects; the model consists of two Leverage Domains, seven Key Domain Areas, and 25 Critical Variables, which are valued with a weighted scoring system that produces quantitative indicators about portal capabilities and allows direct comparisons. The model was used to evaluate eGP portals from 14 countries in Latin America and the Caribbean; the measurements are presented, and fit well with previous rank perception, leading to a good reception by participant agencies. eGPO-MM has already allowed to identify areas for joint action and fostered knowledge-sharing among governments, including identification and dissemination of e-procurement best practices; it also established clear reference points to allow each agency to determine a roadmap to higher e-procurement maturity.  相似文献

A partir de la teoría de modelos intuitivos de Fischbein aplicada a la resolución de problemas de multiplicación y división, se estudian en esta investigación las relaciones entre dicha resolución y la presencia de preconceptos erróneos, así como el reciente criterio de preferencias numéricas, entre futuros profesores. De la misma se llega a la conclusión de que el conocimiento explícito de las relaciones entre elementos de una operación se desarrolla independientemente de la capacidad de interpretación y resolución de los problemas.  相似文献
