Bioinspired hierarchical helical nanocomposite macrofibers based on bacterial cellulose nanofibers

Bio-sourced nanocellulosic materials are promising candidates for spinning high-performance sustainable macrofibers for advanced applications. Various strategies have been pursued to gain nanocellulose-based macrofibers with improved strength. However, nearly all of them have been achieved at the expense of their elongation and toughness. Inspired by the widely existed hierarchical helical and nanocomposite structural features in biosynthesized fibers exhibiting exceptional combinations of strength and toughness, we report a design strategy to make nanocellulose-based macrofibers with similar characteristics. By combining a facile wet-spinning process with a subsequent multiple wet-twisting procedure, we successfully obtain biomimetic hierarchical helical nanocomposite macrofibers based on bacterial cellulose nanofibers, realizing impressive improvement in their tensile strength, elongation and toughness simultaneously. The achievement certifies the validity of the bioinspired hierarchical helical and nanocomposite structural design proposed here. This bioinspired design strategy provides a potential platform for further optimizing or creating many more strong and tough nanocomposite fiber materials for diverse applications.     

A process transfer model-based optimal compensation control strategy for batch process using just-in-time learning and trust region method

The advantages of maximally transferring similar process data for modeling make the process transfer model attract increasing attention in quality prediction and optimal control. Unfortunately, due to the difference between similar processes and the uncertainty of data-driven model, there are usually a more serious mismatch between the process transfer model and the actual process, which may result in the deterioration of process transfer model-based control strategies. In this research, a process transfer model based optimal compensation control strategy using just-in-time learning and trust region method is proposed to cope with this problem for batch processes. First, a novel JITL-JYKPLS (Just-in-time learning Joint-Y kernel partial least squares) model combining the JYKPLS (Joint-Y kernel partial least squares) process transfer model and just-in-time learning is proposed and employed to obtain the satisfactory approximation in a local region with the assistance of sufficient similar process data. Then, this paper integrates JITL-JYKPLS model with the trust region method to further compensate for the NCO (necessary condition of optimality) mismatch in the batch-to-batch optimization problem, and the problem of estimating experimental gradients is also avoided. Meanwhile, a more elaborate model update scheme is designed to supplement the lack of new data and gradually eliminate the adverse effects of partial differences between similar process production processes. Finally, the feasibility of the proposed optimal compensation control strategy is demonstrated through a simulated cobalt oxalate synthesis process.

在当前形势下,基于高校图书馆资源与服务的营销策略研究对区域知识产权信息服务(Intellectual Property Information Services,IPIS)的开展具有现实意义.文章从区域知识产权信息服务的特点出发,选择7Ps营销理论作为营销组合策略,分析国内外高校图书馆区域IPIS营销现状和经验,发现其存在营销渠道不畅、服务产品适用性不强、服务营销力量弱等问题.文章进而从加强区域服务协作、增强服务产品适用性、规划价格策略和打造服务品牌四个方面来构建营销策略.     

Foreign competition,domestic knowledge base and innovation activities: Evidence from Chinese high-tech industries

Using panel data analysis for a sample of Chinese high-technology industries from 1998 to 2008, this study examines how industry characteristics affect industry innovation activities. Differing from existing studies, our research considers the impact of foreign competition on innovation activities at industry level in a large emerging economy. The results indicate that the intensity of competition from foreign invested enterprises (FIEs) and domestic skill intensity affect industry buy and make activities. Foreign competition is positively associated with the intensity of buy activity, but negatively affects the intensity of make activity. Further, the findings show that domestic skill intensity weakens the impact of foreign competitive pressure on innovation activities. Our empirical evidence has important policy implications.     

基于路由协议PMTU对IPv6网络发现与支持的研究

计算机技术发展迅速,PMTU路由协议在新型网络中得到了持续应用与开发,IPv6就是一个例子.在对路由协议中的算法进行分析研究之后,利用原有的技术向其他方面拓展,其中可以利用原有的MTU值,因其数据在原有的路由中有路由信息的储存,则可以减少其在网络的信息传输过程中的步骤,只需向最初的路由进行探测即可.对其实际工作能力进行仿真测试,从结果中可以观察到,与传统机制相比,在传输速度上有了很好的提升.
