Screening study of transition metal oxide catalysts supported on ceria-modified titania for catalytic oxidation of toluene

Six transition metal oxides were added in ceria-modified titania using a sol-gel method for catalytic oxidation of toluene. An MnOx based catalyst was found to be the most active one, with which toluene could be decomposed completely at 200 °C. The greatest Mn/Ti and molar ratio of the mobile oxygen to the total oxygen concentration, together with a large surface area and a low reduction peak-starting temperature, would result in its best activity in toluene oxidation.

Behavioral Intention to Adopt Digital Library by the Undergraduates

The purpose of this research is to investigate the factors that affect undergraduates' behavioral intention to use digital library among the private universities in Malaysia. The target respondents are undergraduates from Malaysian private universities. Questionnaires were distributed among 500 undergraduates through either online or face-to-face method. Reliability test, normality test, Pearson Correlation Coefficient analysis, and Multiple Linear Regression (MLR) were carried out for data analysis. Performance expectancy, social influence, facilitating conditions, hedonic motivation, habit, and information quality had a positive and significant association with behavioral intention to adopt a digital library except for effort expectancy. This research successfully reinforced that the inspiration to ameliorate Unified Theory of Acceptance and Use of Technology 2 (UTAUT 2) by synthesis of Information Systems Success Model (ISSM). This proposed framework with a combination of ISSM and UTAUT 2 has enhanced the fitness of UTAUT 2. Universities that have yet to implement digital library can comprehend undergraduates' needs better by considering all the significant factors to develop a digital library. The universities with the digital library may also notice the important features of the existing digital library that should be maintained and upgraded constantly so that they can fulfil undergraduates' requirements.

重塑行政人格——城管和谐执法的新路径探索

随着经济的快速发展和城市化进程的进一步推进,我国各大城市紧紧围绕建设和谐城市的主题,在改善城市面貌、维护社会稳定、提高服务水平等方面取得了长足进步,但是在建设和谐城市的过程中也出现诸多问题,一些城市失业人口、进城的农民工以及一些由于城市发展而失去土地的人员摊贩化、摊贩经营非法化,使街头摊贩管理成为城市管理的一个难题。在管理过程中常常出现暴力执法、流血冲突等不和谐的场面,这严重背离了构建和谐城市的宗旨。诚然,造成此类流血事件的原因是复杂的。在深入剖析当下城管执法存在的主要问题的基础上,提出从提高城管执法人员个体道德修养、健全相关的制度规范、构建健康的组织文化等方面来重塑其良好的行政人格的设想,试图探索一条实现城管部门和谐执法的新路径,以促进和谐城市的建设。     

《古田会议决议》的思想政治教育价值述评

《古田会议决议》是人民军队建设史上的一个里程碑,也是党的思想政治教育工作的一个纲领性文献,从理论和实践上奠定了人民军队政治工作的基础,成为党的思想政治教育理论形成的标志。新时期,新形势下,思想政治教育工作面临新任务、新要求,研究和借鉴古田会议决议的思想政治教育价值便尤为重要。     

虎纹蛙微卫星位点的跨种引物筛选

利用近缘种中已发表的微卫星DNA标记引物,对虎纹蛙(Hoplobatrachus rugulosus)进行跨种PCR扩增,但是获得了较低的跨种扩增成功率。研究结果显示仅有10个(约33.3%)位点在虎纹蛙能够获得成功扩增,而其中仅有2个(约6.7%)位点的扩增结果是没有拖带和非特异性的物种特异性扩增;46.7%的位点完全没有扩增产物,而20%的位点产物为该位点的非特异性扩增。本文认为影响两栖纲无尾目物种跨种扩增成功率的因素除了与该类群物种的基因组大小有关外,还与两栖类物种间的亲缘关系远近有关。     

Distributed Time Synchronization in Wireless Sensor Networks via Second-Order Consensus Algorithms

This paper proposes a distributed second-order consensus time synchronization, which incorporates the second-order consensus algorithm into wireless sensor networks. Since local clocks may have different skews and offsets, the algorithm is designed to include offset compensation and skew compensation. The local clocks are not directly modified, thus the virtual clocks are built according to the local clocks via the compensation parameters. Each node achieves a virtual consensus clock by periodically updated compensation parameters. Finally, the effectiveness of the proposed algorithm is verified through a number of simulations in a mesh network. It is proved that the proposed algorithm has the advantage of being distributed, asymptotic convergence, and robust to new node joining.     

竖直液柱与水平液面作用激起毛细波探究

探究竖直液柱自由下落到水平液面上,液柱底部受扰激起的表面毛细波传播出现稳定的波节、波腹,如同"驻波"形式的实验现象。利用Navier-Stokes方程分析表面毛细波的传播规律;对比实验探究不同初始条件下,竖直液柱与水平液面相互作用激起毛细波的现象。结果表明,下落高度及水平液面性质有关;纯净深水液面与浅水液面的对比实验表明,浅水液面上液柱底部更易激起稳定毛细波,相同条件浅水液面上激起的毛细波波数较大,波长较短;油膜液面上竖直液柱底部的毛细波被抑制,出现一段笔直液管,并在液柱中部激起稳定的毛细波形。     

中国大陆地区2014年高校慕课课程建设情况调查

为了了解中国大陆地区高校对于慕课建设和利用的态度,特别是已经行动的高校的计划和定位,作者对中国大陆地区32所已经建设慕课且已经开展慕课教学的高校相关校级领导和项目主管人员进行了网络问卷调查,对调查结果进行了描述性统计分析,且与美国相关报告进行了同类数据对比。研究发现,大陆地区高校在慕课建设策略上有许多类似的地方,在慕课建设动机与定位方面与美国高校存在较大差异。最后,我们对部分高校的做法进行了点评,就高校建设慕课过程中可能出现的问题如何通过政策防范,做出了提醒。
